Politics !

We’re right in the thick of it. And it has become more serious for many people in today’s times than it has been ever before. There is a spiritual factor unseen in the world, which also is having an influence. But, the spiritual factor is not what one might assume right off.

From the Spiritual perspective, everything requires looking “deeper into the waters” to understand the fullness of the circumstances and happenings in the world. If we only see things “as we always see things”, we are looking at the surface of circumstances. Rarely does the surface give any clues to what is in the depths where the spiritual forces and influences reside.

To begin with, anyone who has listened to my Nov. 2016 election reading which I’ve made available free of charge, here on the blogsite, knows that, contrary to popular beliefs and feelings right or left, “Things are happening the way they’re supposed to happen.”

How can I say this? I say this in this same way that Christ said to Pontuis Pilate as Christ stood waiting for his fate, “You have authority over me, because God gave it to you.”

This is true today just as much as 2000 years ago. The challenge then put to Pontius Pilate as it is put to all of us given authority or power of any kind – “Now, what are you going to do with this authority?”

All souls are given their turn to pursue that which they believe is their opportunity. This means that God holds no soul as more or less deserving to have a chance to pursue Earthly positions of authority or power. Everyone gets their chance – not all in the same lifetime – but, whether in a past life, the present or a future life, at some point, our turn comes up.

Because we tend to see the quality of work others do, and in turn, think we can do a better job, we put it in our soul to pursue “doing that better job”. Whether we’ve built a spiritual foundation within our hearts determines how we do in our turn.  By spiritual foundation, I mean living from that place which can never be touched by politics – the place from within us in which loving kindness, compassion, patience, forgiveness, mercy, understanding, brotherhood, gentleness, honesty, charity, and other fruits of the spirit come.

This spiritual foundation is based on Unselfishness at the deepest core within our very soul – the part of our soul that stands in front of the face of God and says whether we’re ready or not to move forward. We can choose to speak the truth to God of our readiness and desire, and in doing so, speak the truth to ourselves, or we can choose to lie to God and in doing so lie to ourselves.

FYI, God accepts our choice to lie and does not punish us for lying to God or to ourselves. This is because we have the opportunity then to learn from the results of our lying for ourselves. The saying, “God punishes souls by giving them what they want” plays out in this circumstance, although it’s not really punishment and in truth, comes from our own chosen actions.

This is relevant to politics in some obvious ways and some hidden ways. Politics is mostly a 3rd chakra arena – win/lose, fight/flight, control/controlled, and the like. Service for others, however, begins a movement into the 4th chakra. So, there is a potential for blending of the two chakras.

The individual ideals which we hold at the center of our journey into politics can guide us into either focusing on our 4th chakra energy or reverting back into our 3rd chakra energy.

Although politics tends to be viewed as one side against the other side, there are some that view it as trying to find ways to try to bring both sides together. Our ability to step back and observe our self determines which of these two is our self. Is there a middle ground we can meet in?

Some of us hold on to the “us vs. them” paradigm all the way through, but it doesn’t have to be that way. The Bible tells us, “Agree with thine adversary quickly.” This is because of the principles of perception – that we only know our own experiences – having only walked in our own shoes 24/7, 365 days a year for our entire life. We’ve never experienced living anyone else’s life.

This is why that “other” person’s experiences which has led them to develop their own particular paradigm, are relevant and worthy of being considered, and in turn, be recognized as having been learned – FOR THEM – with they having walked in their own shoes all their life. This is how others can “be right” and yet be 180 degrees opposite of our own “being right”.

We gain a “knowing” of our experiences and learning by walking in our own shoes. The other person gains a “knowing” of their experiences and learning by walking in their own shoes. It is the way of things. The heads side of the coin will never be the tail side of the coin and vice versa. But, yet, there is a way to bring both sides of the coin together.

All souls are valid in our path of learning. All of our paths are different and will teach us many different things. We value what we’ve learned more than what we haven’t yet learned, because we “know” it, and in the “knowing” of it, also know it is worthwhile to have learned it.

Christ’s words, “What does it benefit us to gain all we want if we lose our soul in the process?” are relevant in politics. There is a lot of “wanting” and “gain” and “us vs. them” in politics. The challenge is to pursue what we seek, but learn how to stay in the 4th chakra with regards to what we pursue, and hold on to that which is the most important factor involved in this arena – that quality and energy held within the 4th chakra.

As voters rather than someone running for office, our unselfish service can come in the form of praying for others, including our elected officials, or letting go of the “us vs. them” paradigm, while holding on to the awareness that our brotherhood/sisterhood/human-hood is more important than what we seek to gain in the 3rd chakra arena of politics. When we move into the 4th chakra, we move into an arena of service. We can then recognize that with this level of service, everybody can win, because we’re “all in this world together”. In turn, being aware that each opposing “side” holds only 1 part of the whole, and is not the whole by itself.

We have a lot to learn being human. Having walked in our own shoes in life, we have gained an understanding, and can share what we’ve gained, but there are so many other souls’ shoes we haven’t walked in, and can only gain that understanding when we listen to others share the stories of their walking in their own shoes.

PS.  Let there be no mistake – this takes a lot of work – to return ourselves to our spiritual center over and over, each time we stumble and close off our 4th chakra to those “others”.  But, each time we work to stay on or return to our spiritual path – to stay open to all life, we can feel our own return to our path and understand the importance of our efforts.  It is these efforts which will change the world far beyond anything politics can ever offer.

Is There Real Magic?

Is there real magic?

Yes, it lies in the ways that love, forgiveness, patience, kindness and mercy can heal the heart, the mind and the soul.

It lies in the way that cooperation can bring people together to accomplish great tasks, can transform enemies into friends,
can fulfill the maxim that the prayers of a few will save many, and the prayers of many will save a country.

It lies in meditation, which can lift us above our own shortcomings, above our own resentments, bitterness and stumbling blocks.

It lies in the way that willingness to have an open mind and an open heart can reveal long hidden deep secrets about life and love, ourselves and even God, which we’ve not been aware of before.

It lies in the ways that kindness, compassion and charity can change the face of any individual from a face of pain and suffering to a face of thankfulness and relief.

It lies in the ways that faith really can move mountains – faith in God, faith in one’s Self, and faith in others – each of these opening doors to the Spirit of God working within any who are willing and the recognizing of such.

It lies in the ways that all of these can open the locked door of ourselves which Christ stands behind, saying “I stand at the door and knock”, thus welcoming Him in.

Yes, there is real magic, but we just don’t call it that.  We call it the presence of God, and the touch of Christ.

Proof of God?

Many people fret and fume that we don’t have objective proof that there is a God, or even that there was a Christ, or a Buddha, or any sign that the soul exists or a spiritual dimension is real.

This is by design, folks.

What physical evidence would YOU accept?  What physical evidence would anyone accept?  Would physical evidence gives us the sense of “knowing” which exists inside of us?  Whose expertise would you accept?  What, if anything, exists in the physical world that everyone agrees about in the same exact way?

Do we all agree that man went to the moon?  There is physical evidence – but not to all people.  Do we all agree that the Earth is round?  There is evidence – but still some say no.  Do we agree that there is evidence that proves that life needs water and air to be alive and nothing that doesn’t breathe or need water is alive?  Maybe on Earth that’s true – maybe – on Earth.  But what about viruses which don’t breathe or need water?  Who agrees on the evidence of climate change?

See.  The mental world – the logical world – the physical world is open to debate and each of us determines for ourselves the answer which we will accept.  So, physical evidence is subjective, because we all have feelings and thoughts about things – springing forth from our hearts.  These feelings and thoughts determine so much of what we choose.

We all have desires and hopes – things we want to be real or true.  These desires, feelings, hopes, etc come from within the heart – but not from the physical heart.  There we go again.

The beliefs and “knowing” of God, Spirit, the soul and the spiritual world – also are subjective only – simply because we cannot give one another our own feelings.  Our freewill to choose for ourselves how to feel and think is the freewill that everyone has to choose for themselves.

One reason why logical arguments don’t work is because the experience of God doesn’t come from the mind, but rather from the heart (not the physical heart) – where love exists.  There  is no physical proof or evidence that love exists, either.  No vial exists that contains the fluid of the love that a child has for their parent.  No bottle exists that contains the love that a mother has for her child, and on and on.  Even though some say that love is just a chemical in the brain, this too is a subjective belief based on a particular interpretation of chemical measurements.

The believe in God comes from our personal experience – which is helped by our inner experience we call “knowing”, which also is personal experience.  There is no way to share the same experiences of God, because they happen within a part of our consciousness – our heart – which we only subjectively admit exists.  The experiences of the Love of God come only because we love, also.  The experiences of a connection to God come only because our minds are open and our hearts are open.  At no time are these experiences measurable or provable that they are what we “know” them to be.

So, the belief in God, which exists in our heart, mind and soul can only happen within this one person – our self.  No one can have a relationship with God through anyone’s but their own heart.  We cannot have a relationship with God through another person’s experiences, mind or heart.

This is how it works, and will continue to work.  So, any “proof” of God may only barely come from how we treat another person – with loving kindness, patience, understanding, tolerance, mercy, forgiveness and the like.  “If God exists,” He/She lives in our hearts and actions through these qualities.  This is the only way we can share our experiences of God – by demonstrating Love.

What is Long-Suffering?

There are many teachings which say we are meant to learn long-suffering as much as to develop kindness, compassion, love, mercy, oneness, etc. Many of us intellectually shy away from this with great energy.  There is a perspective that long-suffering is the choosing of suffering, when instead we could choose to not suffer.  The idea of not suffering is a very popular one.  As human beings, we know suffering all too well, as we’ve all gone through it and all been witness to it.

And yet, …

we are meant to learn long-suffering, so, as humans, we do learn it and mostly learn it without realizing it is also a part of being alive. Here are some experiences in which we have learned it.

1. Long-suffering is seeing someone cause suffering to another person/persons, and our wanting to but being unable to stop it.

2. Long-suffering is the awareness of the suffering of people in faraway lands, with us not having the ability to change it except in seemingly small ways from so far away.

3. Long-suffering is seeing people and other lives in need, but not being able to help them except through prayer.

4. Long-suffering is knowing people, like ourselves, going through horrors which we know could be ourselves on any other day.

5. Long-suffering is caring about another person, but not being able to save them from themselves or the path of pain they choose.

6. Long-suffering is loving a child, and not able to completely protect them from the world’s dangers or the world’s horrors.

7. Long-suffering is loving a parent and not able to stop their body or their brain from breaking down and losing themselves during a very long, slow process of disappearing.

8. Long-suffering is doing the best we can, and still it’s not good enough for those who criticize and judge.

9. Long-suffering is knowing the path of pain which we have walked, but still being judged so easily by those who don’t know our life.

10. Long-suffering is dying on a cross and some of our last prayers being for help for others in “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.”

11. Long-suffering is offering a beautiful, wonderful, healing, joy-filled, loving Sacred Truth to others but it being rejected with mocking and contempt.

12. Long-suffering is when we offer real water to someone dying of thirst, and they reject it choosing instead their familiarity to dying of thirst.

13. Long-suffering is knowing all we have to offer some people is love, but they would have none of it.

14. Long-suffering is having received regular prejudice, hatred, violence, injustice, harm and worse because of who and what we are, yet knowing that others who are like us in some way (color, race, religion, gender, etc) – even those we love with all our hearts – could receive the same prejudice, hatred, violence, pain, suffering and/or horrors that we have received and we can’t protect them from it.

15. Long Suffering is believing in God, but knowing that innocence, unselfishness and goodness, as within Christ, will not stop others whose agenda is for themselves only and them to hate, harm or even kill people.

16. Long suffering is realizing deep inside that the horrors of the world don’t just happen to “other people” and not ourselves. The horrors of the world can and many times do happen also to ourselves and those we love.

17. Long suffering is only experienced by those people who choose to experience oneness with life, who see life eye-to-eye equal with others, who seek to let others know they are not alone, who seek to help heal all life.

Part of long-suffering is realizing there’s little we can do to change others’ immediate sorrow and pain – sometimes nothing that is quick and responsive. But, as we pray, which calls for us to be patient and endure the suffering, along with others who may feel hopelessness, we can pray, choosing the faith which, with our prayers, comes healing and change.

We experience long-suffering, because we are human beings, we care, we love, and we keep on keeping on, even with pain in our hearts and tears in our eyes.  We believe that healing can come and so we endure.  We rarely choose “learning long suffering”.  But, we find we experience it as part of living, loving and being loved.

This, and more, is long-suffering.

The New Age of Man Approaches: Part 2 of 2

It’s not by violence. It’s not by hatred. It’s not by furthering selfish-interests. It’s not through yelling or adding to conflict. It’s not by condemning, judging, or criticizing others. It’s not through self-praise or self-righteousness or the opposite – by beating ourselves up or being unforgiving or unmerciful to ourselves.

It’s not through being a member of any particular nation, government or religion. It’s not by putting someone down or oppressing, or even forcing someone. And, it’s not by eliminating people through war or any other means.

We move humanity forward in this Earthly evolution of consciousness through the bringing forth of our patience, kindness, forgiveness, our long-suffering, compassion, understanding, love, mercy, our charity, expressing brotherhood and tolerance, and our meditation and prayer practices.

We move all of humanity forward via unselfishness – for all of humanity – hence why humanity does not move forward except through the Spirit of God being part of the motivating Spirit within people’s hearts and souls. Only through Spiritual efforts of bringing forth the Fruits of the Spirit will humanity as a whole continue to evolve in all ways that humanity can evolve.

This can and will take many lifetimes and many eons according to human time tables, each leading us further down our path. While it may seem a long time – even be our experience of a long time, in the framework of the Infinite Consciousness of God/Love, it is accomplished in a blink of an eye.

Yet, for us, today, it is an act of Infinite Compassion that we can come to realize that we can experience this evolution – which we can also call ‘healing’ – happening every day, through each moment which we contribute/help to bring about for those in need – which is all of us.  We can experience Love.  We can experience mercy.  We can experience joy, compassion, understanding, wisdom and in doing so, slowly become aware that we are experiencing the Consciousness of God – maybe not the “Infinite” part, but rather a part that we can absorb as a human.

As we are present with the current times, even witnessing this current day, the following additional principles can help as we walk the road we’re on.

– As difficult as it is to understand why this is – we are not here on the planet to save the Earth.  We are here on the planet, to help each other remember and reawaken to our spiritual nature and reality.  We can only do this by demonstrating the fruits of our spiritual reality within human realms and arenas – each aspect formed from love – oneness, unity, brotherhood, … forgiveness, mercy, patience, respect … faith, trust, knowing oneself, … Loving God above all else, and loving our neighbor as our self.  And yes, we can extend these fruits to the Earth, as well.

– Learn the lesson of “Asking for help”.  We’re not in this life to go through life alone or take care of ourselves alone.  We didn’t give birth to ourselves. We didn’t change our own diapers or feed ourselves at 1 year old, or clothe ourselves at 2 years old or determine to go to school at 5 or 6, or teach our selves math or reading or all about how to live our life.  As adults, we are so intertwined with the work of other people, that we can never honestly say that we’re self-sufficient since we didn’t build our own vehicles, build our own roads, build our own telephones, etc and etc. We live relying on the work and effort of the billions of people around the whole planet. All equipment and supplies reach us via the work of ourselves and other people. Even the most extreme living in the woods away from civilization, we are not the sole person influencing our staying alive.

God designed us to “need one another.” Learn the lesson of “Asking for help” – the demonstration of “our needing each another”.

– It is helpful if one of our prayers is always, “Lord, teach me the truth.

– Christ’s words to Peter are also for us – “You don’t concern yourself about that other person or the path they walk.  They are My concern.  You follow me.”  Forgiveness is letting go of insisting the other one learn and grow first – before we ever choose to learn and grow. The higher energy comes to heal the low energy when we let go of our **requiring** or **demanding** someone else change instead of ourselves in life or in that moment.  God has already willed that no soul shall perish, and this means all souls will be guided to re-find their healing path – but this is in God’s times and God’s ways, and not in human time frames or human-understood ways.

– During this time, we may be called upon to help others in ways we haven’t been helping before, or at a certain level of helping in which we haven’t gone before.  In the last days of Jesus, before His death, He worked to take full advantage of every moment left.  He sought to help as much as He could, and as many people as He could in the few days/weeks He had left.  Time was short, but so many sought His help, still.  His heart was dedicated to helping as many as He could, in all ways which the Father directed Him.

We are called also, now, especially in the days ahead, to help in ways which could stretch us to step up to another level.  It is for each of us to decide for ourselves, but we also, can ask God, “Here am I, Lord.  I’m ready. How can I help?”  Each of us is unique, and our own uniqueness brings us to be able to help in ways only we could help, because of our uniqueness.  The place we find ourselves, the skills we have, the feelings in our own heart – these are where God brings us — so that we can help in the place we find ourselves with the skills we have and the feelings in our heart.  “How can I, being the unique me, help in my unique way?”

– If we are seeing darkness manifest, feeling in despair or discouraged, then also look for the Light.  We are not abandoned, because even on the worst stormy days and nights, the sun/Son is still active above all, and is still actively continuing to work to break through clouds of darkness.  It is for us to shine our Light from our underside of the storms, also.

– God does not have all of us experience the same difficulties or life circumstances.  Even in the times ahead, there will be different difficulties and circumstances for different people.  Some people will go through great pain and suffering.  Some will go through minor difficulties.  Some will not go through problems at all.  This is also under God’s guidance, like the blind man Christ healed, saying, “This man was born blind for the Glory of God.”  His blindness was not from his own karma.  And Christ did not leave him in blindness.  Rather, with his asking, Christ healed him so others could believe in the healing which they witnessed happen that day, and in turn, then believe God is available to all who call upon Him in times of need.  God calls upon each of us to be someone whom God can work through for someone’s help – with each of us being on a different experiential path to help the different ways that are needed.

– We let the prayer, “Lord, help me be honest with myself.” be with us over and over through the day. We let it be a prayer that is in our hearts sincerely regardless of our judgment of it. Let the truth that it brings, come up from within, without judging what comes up within us to be accurate or worthy, or realistic. God is all things – even the ‘human-impossible’. God is the “All Possible”, the “Infinite Possible” and the limitless Imaginative Possible”, even while we don’t understand how this possibly could be.

– It is when we stand eye-to-eye, shoulder-to-shoulder, as equals, that we are united brothers and sisters, and not when we place ourselves above or below someone else.  Every one of us is an average, regular and normal spirit entity inside a physical body (of various species.)

*******

“There is no realm in which God’s Complete Consciousness is not present.  We swim inside, breathe inside, live inside the Infinite Consciousness of God, and all the while, with God’s complete and Infinite Awareness fully present – even of our individual self and all we go through.” (The Rainbow Cards, ©, 2017, Jodie Senkyrik)

“God, thank you for your presence, guidance, help in my life, and love, even when I’m not aware of it.”

The New Age of Man Approaches: Part 1 of 2

So many of us have come into this world for the times that are now coming upon us. These are the last of the days of this age of man. The new age of man will begin in 20 years – 2038. But, there’s some work to do before then, and … some difficult times are ahead for many all over this planet.  (If you remember 1998, that is how much time 20 years is.)

With the next 2 years, 2018-2020, we enter into a time when we will see ever increasing manifestations of low vibration/dark energy. (Not really ‘dark’ of itself but rather less and less of the Light.)  Much of this will be (1) physical harm, (2) economic hardship for more people, and  — (3) social aggression manifesting from the human choice to act this way due to the success of using aggression in the past eons of human life. (It is important to remember that aggression breeds aggression, hatred breeds hatred, war breeds war, etc.)

The times of “darkness” or “greater difficulties” will last 6 years more after that – 2020-2026, then there will be 2 more years of slowly climbing out of the low vibration/dark energy, 2026-2028.  This will then put us into a time of 10 years starting 2028 – of rebuilding, repairing, restoring, healing and by many more people – deciding to select/choose different ways to relate to each other in the world – different than the automatic ways of today – ways which are meant to select better ways to relate – which do not breed aggression, hatred, war, etc.

[Side note: dark energy is simply low vibration. Low vibration comes into existence as we move towards acts of hatred, bitterness, and vengeance in our heart and away from acts of Love, kindness, tolerance, patience, understanding – moving towards acts of  violence, both physical and social, and the other forms of self-centered acts/living (our self alone). Love and loving brings forth the higher vibrations and the Light. All the manifestations of love – kindness, compassion, and yes, long-suffering, bring us out of the low vibration and dark energy.]

[Side note: Long-suffering is the act of suffering through an event which one can do little about – seeking to persevere and suffer through the event and its ramifications.  More on this in a future posting.]

We are entering into a time to actively pursue and exercise our faith in God, faith in ourselves, and faith in others. These next 10 years mark the completion of bringing forth much karmic energy which we collectively set in motion from our past, which needs to be healed/faced/resolved/rebalanced/cleaned up before establishing the new age of Mankind.  The 10 years after that, not only will we be climbing higher out of the dark/low energy times, but also, we will be deciding which ideals to pursue as a human race in the new age which begins in 2038 – not in a “Pollyanna” way, but in ways that include the struggles and pain of holding onto and physically/socially manifesting higher ideals even in the face of the easiness of giving up.

We decide these ideals as individuals and not from a “group meeting.”  This means that if you or I set and practice higher ideals, this will spread.  If you or I don’t bother, this “not bothering” will spread, as well.  Don’t be surprised if these concepts are not readily recognizable or if anyone acknowledges it at all.  The process is not necessarily going to be conscious on a day-to-day level.  Remember, also, it is the beginning, not the “peak”.

It is for us a time now to practice what we’ve been preaching – to practice that which we’ve been learning. We are called to practice now many following principles:

– As simple as it might seem, taking life one day at a time in order to focus on the challenges which are in our laps today – on this one day.  While this may seem too simplistic on the surface, when practiced one can see very real benefits if practiced alongside the words of Christ to have faith in God to handle the worries of tomorrow while we focus on today.

– Accept that we will still have doubt come up within us, but in the face of that doubt, instead consciously choose to have faith in a Living, Active and Participating God.

– Lean not on our own beliefs and understandings which we’ve had throughout our life so far. Instead entertain an open mind – allowing for things we won’t immediately understand. With time, we will see how new information and awarenesses make sense and work in the world. Be ready to let go of some beliefs that don’t align with a larger paradigm – (this is a struggle indeed.)  Remember, Christ (going by every name humans use) understands many things that we do not.

– Many times in our day-to-day lives, we will find ourselves in ‘dead-ends’ where we get nowhere and accomplish nothing – whether it is from choices we’ve made or circumstances.  In these moments, we can pray, “Lord, do you have something else you want for me instead of this?” and “Whether yes or no, show me the way to move forward with this, through this, learn from this, gain from this, and then with moving into more than this.”

– The people in this Earth are desperately starving for kindness and compassion of all kinds. We can help with this by being awake and aware of expressing kindness and other mercies while we interact with people throughout the current day. Each act of kindness and mercy towards another person is a change towards a better Earth. Not just “random” acts of kindness, but deliberate acts of kindness.

– Great and grand gestures are for those who seek to praise themselves. God works through the quietness of one person helping one person.  Massive libraries beyond imagination could be filled with the works the Father/Christ/the Holy Spirit/Buddah/Allah/Jehovah has done to help people – quietly and known only within their own hearts, minds, bodies and souls.

– With God, our facing our difficulties, is possible – but without God, things start becoming noticeably not possible.

– Condemning and criticizing do not bring healing into the world.  But, condemning and criticizing do bring more pain and suffering into the world.  Instead trade up – patience, forgiveness, understanding, mercy – these things do bring healing into this world.  We do this one person at a time… and do it by choice, not by accident.

– Meditation and prayer – whether for 1 minute or 30 or an hour – each meditation and each prayer adds to change for individuals and the planet. The more prayer and meditation, the more higher energy comes into this world – both (1.) to heal the destined karmic energy coming to be manifested, which we all contributed to at some point in our past lives, and (2.) to strengthen the help, presence and Love of the Spirit of God in the planet for each life that exists in the planet.

(continued in Part 2)

*******

In one of the next articles/postings, I will also post “What We Can Watch For or Expect”.

*******

“No one religion, no one book can hold All of the Light, All of Love, and All of Oneness – All of the Infinite Consciousness of God.  No finite “anything” in this 3-dimensional planet can completely hold the Infinite.  As the Human Race, we need the diversity that exists so as to allow greater and greater numbers to find a path leading to the top of the mountain that is the connection to the Infinite One God.

Trust and Beliefs

“We can learn to trust others when they are being trustworthy, and learn to not trust them when they are not being trustworthy, but we need to learn when to trust ourselves in order to learn to tell the difference.” (The Rainbow Cards)

It is easy to be misled. We want to believe certain things. Sometimes, we want so badly to believe that we allow ourselves to be misled.

However, problems can arise from this in several ways. First problem is when we want to hold on to our beliefs so badly, that we act destructively towards others who we may see as challenging our beliefs. The second is when we then go on to help mislead others.

Everyone alive has different beliefs from everyone else alive.  Maybe not drastically or noticeably different beliefs, but somewhere in there, there are differences.  There is no avenue to dislodge someone else from their beliefs other than presenting different perspectives and different beliefs. This is because freewill is given to every soul, and will not be taken away from any soul.

We can be misled when we don’t have strong beliefs, and we can mislead others knowingly and unknowingly. We can also mislead ourselves. Every person has the freewill to choose what they will believe and hold to.  At the same time, we tend to think it’s the other person who has been misled and we are the ones with beliefs that are true.

Contrary to what one may think, one method of helping to not be misled by our self or by others is to keep an open and ever inquiring mind. It is a paradox, sometimes.  This is not an act of accepting everything we see and hear, but rather, working to understand in a deeper way that which could be new to us. This includes asking questions, asking more questions and then asking even more questions.

We are forever putting together an ever bigger paradigm of ourselves and the world in which we live.  The greater the paradigm of understanding, the stronger the foundation of that paradigm.

The act of knowing truth is a subjective act. It is not an experience that one person can give to another person. It is only an experience that we can own because of it coming from within our own heart, mind and soul. It may seem like “someone said something that rang true”, but had it not been within one’s own heart and soul first, it would not have “rung” at all.

With the great number of differing beliefs – about every facet of life – this then, is why I continue to mention, “It is not what we believe, but what we do with our beliefs, that is important.”  In other words, how do we motivate ourselves and others using our beliefs as the foundation?

It then behooves us to consider what then we  choose to believe – about ourselves, about others and about God.  We can choose to believe the very worst.  We can also choose to believe the very best.  Probably somewhere in between is what is actually true when we choose beliefs about individual people.  As Edgar Cayce said in one of his readings, “There is good in the worst of us, and there is bad in the best of us.”  Seeing life as one or the other, but not both – good or bad, white or black, left or right, right or wrong and not seeing the blending of the two within every person – good and bad together in one person – white and black together in one person – left and right together in one person – right and wrong together in one person – is the belief where we mislead ourselves the most.

Forgiveness DNA

The giving and receiving of forgiveness is like the coming and going of DNA.  DNA in equals DNA out.   The level of forgiveness which we receive is simply the level of forgiveness we give. If we’re 100% sincere when we forgive, we will be forgiven 100%. If we are half sincere when we forgive, we will be forgiven half sincerely.  If we have conditions when we forgive, we will be forgiven but only with conditions. If we forgive, yet with no mercy, then we will be shown no mercy when we are forgiven.

That which resides deep inside our hearts and minds when we forgive – the DNA of our own intentions, feelings, thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors – is that same DNA with which we will be forgiven. No amount of being honest with ourselves or lying to ourselves will change this.  All of this is true also if we offer no forgiveness whatsoever from within our hearts.

In addition, if faced with forgiving someone, if we are greatly disappointed with the one we feel we need to forgive, then we’d better start being more active in helping them, because disappointment in others comes from high expectations of their behaviors, but with low levels of our active involvement helping or supporting them on their path. Praying regularly for the ones we’re disappointed in, is the place to start.

What if they needed forgiveness, or mercy, or patience, or understanding, would we give it to them? Which of these is easier to give? What if it was someone we didn’t love or even like at all? Would we also give them forgiveness, or mercy, or patience, or understanding? Does giving forgiveness, understanding, mercy, etc, depend on whether we like them or not?” (The Rainbow Cards, ©, 1997-2018, Jodie Senkyrik)

Holding On For Hope

Many versions of Christ’s crucifixion exist in many forms to tell the story. One thing that is in all the versions is the torture and suffering inflicted upon Him throughout the many hours He was taken into custody. I won’t go through all the levels of suffering, but rather that He chose to walk the path which led to this. He knew long before this time that this is why He came into this world, also. He willingly went through this.

While gathering somewhere else and His followers giving up hope for a world where Jesus led them, Christ walked this entire road to this end – stumbling, blood, sweat, acceptance, pain, nails, the cross, even to the sword through His side and His last words, “It is done.” and His death. As a human being, He experienced every moment of these things.

“Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” In these words, He speaks of seeing past the material world, past earthly actions and behaviors, and past the cause of His death. In Him was the hope that comes with seeing past the physical world to that which is beyond our own ability to see. His sight was capable of seeing His life continuing in the way that was Truth of who He was and who we are.  Hence how He could ask for their/our forgiveness.

Like His followers, there are so many times and situations where we feel our own loss of hope. Despair, discouragement, sorrow, grief for things lost or never gained, suffering – each of these are things we know and experience. We don’t see what He sees, but we are challenged to look beyond the material experiences – look beyond our material circumstances and our physical situations.

When we find ourselves in these experiences – experiences leading to our lost hope, it is these times – which we all go through – when we are little children, in pain, lost in the dark, and very scared – children in adult bodies still thinking we are adults. “Suffer the little children to come unto me” is His statement to our “adult belief” to let the hurt, lost and scared child self come to Him. Then we can reach up as children must do, to His waist and wrap our arms around Him, holding on with all our strength.

It is these moments with His arms reaching down to us bringing us in, that He gives His most to us – His most love, His most caring, His most comfort, His most acceptance, His most everything – when we let ourselves “come unto Him”.

There are things which He knows, and sometimes we get to learn if we work at it. One of these things is hope. We are all still learning. And as we hold onto His waist with our child-strength, He lets us know, “Remember, I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Winter Weather Still

For those in the northern Midwest as well as the North Eastern states, the winter weather won’t leave completely until around the 1st week in May (depending on location) to the 2nd week in May.  This kind of winter experience will be duplicated many times in the years ahead.  For example, the bad news: 5 of the next 10 years will be worse than this year, 1-2 years of the next 10 years will be similar, but for the good news – 3 to 4 of the next 10 years will be better (warmer weather).

The discrepancy (looseness of the prediction for the last 2 categories) is based on human choice.  Human consciousness affects the weather.  No amount of arguing against this will change it.  In fact, just the opposite will occur.

Question on Karma

This is a little off the subject, but in regards to karma we having coming into each incarnation, I have always wondered what happens when a child is adopted? My understanding is that the soul picks its situation based on the parents? M.C.

There are many different factors that are at work in the process of a soul’s incarnating through “parents”.  Our world offers such a variety of experiences.  Sometimes the soul has choices, sometimes the soul has choices made for them.  All of this depends on the lessons the soul needs to learn – including going through any experiences the soul themselves created for others – that which we know as karma.

One pathway which is common for souls who may have taken life in the past, is to seek to help bring forth life, in the present – by giving birth to another soul.  However, with this pathway, it is not always a part of their path to be responsible for the other person during the entire lifetime.  The human adoption process then becomes an avenue, where one woman may give birth – bring forth life – but another couple may raise the child as their own.

The bonds of healing can exist with the birth mother soul which stay with the soul born and the mother soul, while the soul or souls chosen as parents have soul connections to carry forth with raising the child.  This means that all involved have been connected in past lives in various roles and in various degrees.

Because there is such a diversity of experiences in human life, there are also a diverse number of pathways for human adoption to serve as a venue where souls can come together to become a human family.  The key phrase being “diversity of experiences”.  This is why we can feel that we’re family members with those whom we are not blood related.

Accepting Us Just as We Are

It can come as a shock for people who want to be accepted just as they are . . .

That several things must happen, but first

There are some that will not accept some people just as they are. They will criticize, judge, condemn, insult, verbally abuse, and in some cases physically harm and kill.

The laws help to draw the line and stop, as much as possible, the physical abuse and harm that might happen,  but we live in a world where there are still venues for people to criticize, judge, condemn, insult and verbally abuse – and in many cases – anonymously.

When in the public eye, this comes quite often.

___

Now, to happen first: We check within – looking to see if we are pulling on that other person to be ‘what we want them to be’ instead of letting them be themselves. We may want them to be kind, fun-loving, accepting, gentle, tolerant, friendly, forgiving, etc, etc, etc and more etc. – but they are not.  Not pulling on someone to be something other than the person that they are, is just as difficult for us, as it would be for them.

Second: Realize that this “wanting” on our part is another way of not accepting someone just as they are, even though bashing and insulting others with their agenda seems to be their chosen road in life. They are who they are because of choosing of their own freewill. Likewise, we are who we are because of choosing of our own freewill. If we’re not going to accept them, how can we seek for them to be accepting.

Third: While we may not enjoy their chosen character traits and ways of expressing themselves in the world through condemning us and others, judging, etc, etc.; the trait we, personally, are struggling against is “criticism and judgement”, which we have not healed yet inside ourselves, either. How can we expect others to not criticize, judge, condemn and insult when we haven’t yet chosen to “not”.

Four: Examine within – again – at who our greatest critic, our greatest judge, and our greatest source of guilt and shame – the source of all this is the one we live with 24 hours a day, every day of our life. Sadly, we insult our self within, we judge our self within, we condemn our self within wayyyyyyyy mooooorrrrrree than any other person does to us. Of our own freewill, we can work on letting go of, – again of our own freewill – beating ourselves up every single day, or we can choose of our own freewill to let go of this self-internal-abuse which every single human on this planet does to him/herself.

Fifth: In many cases, we have past lives that we’re also dealing with – namely, in our current life, facing the same that we dished out to others in our past life or lives. If we’re willing, we can use these experiences to remember to think twice about whether we want to continue dishing out this kind of insulting pain and suffering onto others in the future.
***
Every day we have the opportunity to find something within ourselves to heal, to change, to learn and eventually to release from guilt/shame and to love. The circumstances we find ourselves in, the relationships we find ourselves in, the world we find ourselves in – all of these can help provide us a place to start to change the person we are and the character traits we have – within ourselves.

The freedom of expression which we seek, we CAN find, but it cannot be just for ourselves alone – we must find it and allow this freedom of expression out to everyone else as well, even when their expression is the opposite of what we want in our lives and brings pain and suffering.

The Infinite Consciousness of Love, also known as God, has given us the freewill to choose our own character traits to express in our lives, and we are called to respect that same freewill choosing that others have made for their lives.

And what do you do when you choose to love, but someone else you’re in touch with or in relationship with chooses to hate? Ask God what He/She does, because He/She faces this every single day.

“Guilt and shame – Our chains of guilt and shame can only land on others if we hold the chains on them with our own hands. Everyone the chains of guilt and shame touch and are touched by are ruled by the chains of guilt and shame – the chains that we grip by our very own hands.  Yet, it is easy for us to release these chains – release ourselves from these chains – if we know one thing.  For us to release ourselves from these chains gripping us, we must release the chains for all others that we place them around. At anytime, if we pick them back up to place the chains back on others, we chain ourselves back up, as well.”

“The experiences we create for others to experience, we are also creating for ourselves to experience – not at the same time and place, but at some point in time, in some location in Earth, in some life we will lead.  That which we create is experienced by the Infinite All.”

Christ and Buddha

Years ago, I had a dream. In this dream, I saw a wheel of light with a central hub, many spokes of light reaching outward, and then the outer rim/tire encircling the whole. And I saw Christ. Christ showed me the meaning of these 3 parts. Christ was the central hub, all the different religions were the many spokes, and the outer rim/tire was all the people who believed the various and different religions.  Through the many different spokes and their connection to the hub in different places, the outer rim gained strength and purpose, thus being able to move the whole forward.

I don’t know if Christ is in dreams of others. I’d love to find out. I do know that this dream taught me the relevance and relationship that exists with the different religions and the central Spirit of Love that religions try to teach to the people.

This Spirit which I call Christ, and many others call Christ has taught me that the main question and struggle is not about what name or organized religion we adhere to, but to the Spirit that exists available to all people and which resides in all religions that teach the One God.

Many will continue to war, saying “Our One God is the real One God and your One God is not the real One God.” In effect they’re saying, “Our way of believing is the real way to believe and your way of believing is not the real way to believe.”

I’ve written of this many times trying to say, “It’s not our beliefs, but what we do with them – using them to bring peace or using them to bring war – that matters most”. The dream did not show a  one spoke wheel. What wheel would work with only one spoke? The dream showed many spokes, because the tire spread all the way around – each spoke being that which connects that portion of the whole to the center.

Christ said many times, “I have followers that you don’t know about.” Does anyone think that He can’t or is not capable of being available to someone in another language, in another culture, with another name, under another symbol, in a different paradigm, in a different perspective, under a different image, wearing different clothes, in a different land, appearing as a different physical representation, unknown to “us”? Does anyone think He can’t speak to people in their own culture using their own language and understanding, presenting teachings that have One God of Love as the teachings’ central message, helping them start where they are, supporting who they are as the persons that they already are to take their own next step?

Does anyone think He can’t, in these different ways, give His message , “You’re already all you need to be, to be loved right now” ? Can He then help other religions to come about, carrying on the message – “Love one another” ?  The Bible describes the Pentecost, and says, “Each person understood the message in their own language and culture.”  Who among us thinks God cannot speak to each of us in our own way of understanding?

If anyone is wondering, look at how many religions speak the same message, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you“, or the message, “There is One God and all of us, everywhere are God’s Children.”

As one example, does anyone think it CAN’T be true, that the Christ Spirit and the Buddha Spirit are One and the same? We can know one name and person or we can know the other name and person, or we can know them both as One Spirit, and begin to learn the lessons of the one we choose or choose both, finding that when we learn the lessons of one, we have also been learning the same lessons of the other.

The Sum of Ourselves

As souls living in the Earth, we create circumstances for ourselves and others.

What is not widely understood is that in looking at the sum of all human lives which a soul experiences, and under the umbrella of what is commonly called, “Karma”, when we, through our own freewill, create problem experiences in individual lives and/or in the world as a whole, we are then the ones who are given the divine task of cleaning up those problems.  Of course, this cleaning is done over whatever time or lives are needed, and with as much help as is needed.

Look out at all the people who want to help clean up the planet, or clean up societal issues, or clean up a certain aspect of life – the environment, the government, medical knowledge, law, spirituality, education etc.  They are people like you and I.  This means like us, they feel within their hearts and minds the desire to bring better things into this Earth – to help make the world a better place.

As you might understand where I’m going with this, almost all of the 7.3 billion people who want to help “clean up” this world – make it a better place for all people – are the one’s who helped create these problems from within our past lives.  (Not everyone.)  Like you and I, others have learned from mistakes of past lives, and this learning is now deep within our hearts and souls helping us be inspired, motivated and understanding of the benefits of creating a better world for all life.

Those of us who are ready to do something to help – whenever we are ready of our own freewill to be willing to do something to help – are the ones who enter into the middle of the “problems” in some form, and work at leading new ways into the future. If we led the way in creating the mess, we can find ourselves with opportunities to lead the way in cleaning up the mess.

This process is not punishment.  It is not obligation or penance.  It is a process of healing, forgiveness, mercy and more.  It comes from within our hearts – a new recognition of the opportunity for brotherhood among peoples – a recognition of the benefit and healing that comes with compassion and cooperation, kindness, forgiveness and patience.  This feeling of wanting to contribute to the betterment of humankind comes from the best and greatest part of ourselves.

I’ve had past lives in Atlantis, partially as military personnel. In several lives and in several roles. I went to war, attacked, harmed and killed people. Without choosing further learning on my part, I then experienced lives where I had been attacked, harmed and killed. However, from then a willingness to learn greater understandings of the human experience, that which I learned from human life as a whole, led to a greater understanding of much of the experiences I created for others on the receiving end of what I dished out.

After much of these “learning” lives, I became priests, doctors, Seers and other service roles which have given me opportunity to help heal whom I wounded, help clean up the messes I’ve made, help repair the things I broke, and help bring together that which I took apart.  This greater purpose gave me inspiration and life in the doing.

I’ve been so many different nationalities and races, that my memories of these lives  help me to listen to and feel more understanding of the pain and suffering of others, as well as willingness to work hard at letting go of knee-jerk judgment and condemning of people on a particular side. (I still stumble at times, though.)

I walk in my shoes as a white man this life, but I recognized the other lives still existing within me, and in some I still seek and learn to bring forth life rather than take away life – meaning I still have work to do.

I have past lives as female, so they are within me. I have past lives as other races, other social roles, different religions and different sexual orientations, so those experiences are within me. I’m not those people on the outside anymore, but I am, like every one of us humans, the sum of all my past lives, experiences and learning, even if remembering all these experiences doesn’t come easy or automatic, (as every human knows.)

Why do some people choose to harm if they’ve had past lives? Because we all “remember in our soul” different things. As I’ve written in other articles, the 9-11 hijackers subconsciously remembered being on the receiving end of tremendous Atlantean attacks – with their feelings and thoughts that Atlantis- a great technical power invading everywhere in the world- was wrong to do that to people. The hijackers wanted opposition and revenge. They remembered their hatred even though they didn’t remember their past lives.

A lot of us remember our hatred. A lot of us humans remember feelings of bitterness and desire for vengeance.  We may come up with today’s version of justification, but we are still the sum of all our feelings whether healing or harmful.  We still, of our own freewill, get to choose which feelings we will act upon.

Some of us subconsciously remember love, also. Some of us “remember” lives in which the Master touched our life – directly or through others. Some remember spiritual lessons which they’ve learned, some remember a drive within our hearts motivating us to greater purposes.

It’s not an easy mix when we remember something worthwhile. We can lead ways to better paths, but we need to remember that it was ourselves who helped create those worse paths. When we seek to help bring healing from pain and suffering, we have to watch out for our blaming anyone who represents the person who we were, back when we helped create the pain and suffering. In actuality, most of us, are struggling not with the other person, but rather with who we were in that past life.  We may “remember in our soul” that the “other person” is capable of harm, because we caused harm when we walked in those same shoes.

We are on this path together, meaning all of us are called to help heal all the different aspects of human consciousness that need healing within ourselves, whether we approach this task from one direction or some other direction. As we heal ourselves, we are helping heal the whole of human consciousness – not all in one lifetime, of course, but as Edgar Cayce says, “One hair at a time”.

If this seems daunting, just remember, we have eternity to do this, and as John says, “All you need is Love, dat, da, da, da dahhhhhhh.”  Love is “leading new paths into the future, instead of following the old paths of the past” – leading the new ways of love, cooperation, compassion, forgiveness, mercy, patience, respect, and letting go of judgment instead of following the old ways of selfishness, hatred, condemnation, judgment and disregard.

We’re in this world together.  We won’t have the same ideas, beliefs, paths and ways to manifest our hearts and souls, but that’s not the important part.  The important part is that since we have the freewill to choose what motivates us, we can choose to manifest the best healing parts within us, or the worst harming parts within us.
