To Bring Light to a Violence-Weary World

If you’re seeing similarities between ISIS and the Nazi’s under Hitler, and wondering if you’re accurate with seeing these similarities, then you’re correct. There is a reason why we see similarities – because they are similar.

The difference is that today, we have instant reporting of the actions of ISIS, whereas in the 1930’s and 1940’s reporting was done very slowly.

In looking at this going on in our world, it is easy to follow the beat of the drum of retribution, vengeance and hatred. We see so many examples of how easy it is for some to choose violence and vengeance. For some, this will be a regular choice that they find easy to make.

But, not for all. The question for some of us isn’t whether the people of ISIS are destroying artifacts and murdering people, the question for some of us is are they destroying and murdering our spiritual paths – our paths to bring the whole world out of darkness through efforts to bring forth the LIGHT from within ourselves individually. Yes, absolutely lives matter and yes, history matters, but of what value is history if the whole world chooses the darkness of hatred and vengeance. And what do the souls who lost their lives want for us – greater darkness so this can happen to others? or perseverance to live from within the heart of our spiritual path so that this darkness is replaced with the LIGHT OF GOD.

The truth is they can’t murder or destroy our spiritual paths and spiritual efforts. However, we can do it to our own spiritual paths. When we do it, we do it voluntarily. We can destroy and murder our own spiritual paths simply by choosing the same thing they do – violence, killing, hatred, vengeance, etc.

It is times like these and events like these when holding to and practicing our spiritual paths becomes most important. It is the practice in the face of circumstances which oppose practicing the presence and guidance of Spirit when it is most effective and helpful to the world at large.

No one can force us to be hateful or vengeful or violent – off our own spiritual path – although it’s damn hard sometimes to stay on our path. If we get off our path, it is of our own freewill to act from the “lower vibrations” of hatred and vengeance, rather than act from “higher vibrations” of patience, openness, perseverance and long suffering – holding onto the hand of the Still, Small Voice within – walking with the One who promises healing of more than just ourselves, if we hold out – persevere – to the end.

We’re all in this together. There are many of us seeking to hold on to our spiritual paths in the face of hatred, violence and vengeance. So, keep on keeping on. Choose life not death. Hold to the Light, when all around seems to be darkness. Join with others, pray, meditate, practice the presence of God. With our effort to live from a greater Spirit, we will help to bring Light to a violence-weary world.

Science vs. Religion – the Human Spirit

The Human Spirit Transcends Science: Science is a great tool of and for mankind.  Like any tool, it is useful in certain situation, but worthless in others.  A hammer is great for driving nails. But If I need to drive a screw into a piece of wood, the hammer is not a useful tool. In fact, it makes the job harder, or even impossible.
Our Western, rational world has a tendency to apply science like a hammer to a screw. If we put it in perspective, it’s a great tool.  However, some applications just do not fit.
An example would be to prove my mother loved me – or didn’t love me. Science is not the appropriate tool for this question.  It cannot measure love.  It doesn’t mean that some will not try to apply this tool inappropriately. Science can look at externals, such as what my mother did for me. Then propose a proof of love based on those externals.  But we can match those actions of hers using other people, or even machines. But they won’t have love as their motive. The person might be paid to do some of these duties. The machine has no ability to love.  Yet they “replicate” my mother’s loving actions toward me.
A favorable view of science can morph into worship at the altar of science. That does not bode well for humanity.  Just as money can be a great tool or resource, so can science. But love of money elevates it to an idol we worship.  We can fall into the same trap in our view of science.
Another pitfall is applying science “correctly”, but immorally.  The Nazi experiments on humans are repulsive to any who haven’t killed their conscience.  It was a “proper” use of science as a tool, but totally unacceptable when we consider values.
Is there a lesson here?  Yes.  Recognize the spiritual nature of humanity.  That requires that we acknowledge human values that transcend science.   With that perspective, we can identify the situations where science can be a help.  More importantly, we can identify where it can be misapplied. Treat science like a tool, not a god.  “Have no false gods before me…”  B.B.

Thank you, B.B.  I’m going to add a few additional points to what you’ve said, if you don’t mind.

First, the scientific understanding we have today, is not the scientific understanding we had 50 years ago or 50 years before that. Look at what we’ve learned through scientific discovery in the last 50 years. Look at what science has discovered in the 50 years before that … and before that… and before that… on into millenniums in the past.

Now, tell me what we’re going to scientifically discover in the next 50 years, and the 50 years after that, and after that and on and on into millenniums into the future. Science cannot tell us what we’ll discover, because it hasn’t been discovered. Using science, there’s no way to identify the next 50 years of scientific discovery much less millenniums beyond that.

To do this we must leap beyond the scientific understanding of today. This is the purpose of spiritual and religious thought. Spiritual and religious thought and it’s tenants cannot be proved or disproved using today’s science.   But, inadvertently and on purpose, religion and spiritual thought have given us information about things that we can strive towards – namely motivation to search for ‘the truth’ that is beyond our scientific understanding.  In effect, it hasn’t waited for science to catch up and instead seeks to show us where we’re going.

Using science, we can make conjectures coming from what’s being worked on yesterday and today, and projecting forward with common sense and experience telling us – as we seek, so we shall find – as we seek answers and discovery using science, we will find answers and discovery using science.

Unfortunately, for science, it’s also true that what we do not seek, we will not find.   I mention this in regard to the behavior among many people to ridicule and dismiss scientific research into non-physical phenomenon like spirituality, paranormal, etc.  Instead offering non-scientific based prejudices instead of scientific data.

******
It is a fact of science that no matter how much a white person studies and learns about the black race, he isn’t a black person and cannot fully know the black experience. And no matter how much a black person studies and learns about the white race, they aren’t white and can never fully know the white experience. We cannot be what we are not and our knowing of the other is limited.  Science is not meant to be treated as a religion, even though many have turned it into their religion. Religious thought is not gained through scientific method but many assign it to be “science.”

The day will come that science will discover many things that have heretofore been in the realm of the spiritual and religious. Scientific study has discovered the realm of other universes and other dimensions.  It has already discovered that everything that exists, exists as vibration. Atoms are merely vibrational focuses which create certain behaviors, including the behavior that leads humans to experience “matter.” Metaphysically, it is believed that Christ’s ability to heal comes from His being the highest level of vibration of God Consciousness and His touch brought the ill into this higher vibration, changing their physical bodies in the process – like a tuning fork.

But, does scientific discovery of heretofore spiritual aspects mean that there is no God and there never was? Of course not.  To say this is what it means is like the guy in the Patent Office in early 1900 saying, “We might as well close the patent office because everything has already been invented.”  (That’s actually true – someone did say that.)  These things are not the end of discovery or belief in God, they’re the beginning.

Quite literally, we are in the dark ages still with regards to what we think is true and what we have no clue about, if we compared what we know today to what we don’t know yet to be discovered tomorrow.

As humans, we tend to consider the God that we think exists, in terms that we can understand with our mind. We’ve built religions around understandings of the mind. This is usually based on the belief that we CAN understand God with our mind – the part of us that analyzes and comes to rational understandings (based on what we understand up to that moment.) This can only mean that our understanding of God is based on what we understand in our own mind – not God’s mind – our own. So, there are limits to our understanding through both scientific thought and religious thought.

But, even so, where is the heart in this analysis? The heart isn’t a part of the analysis of the practical mind. The heart as we’ve all experienced, seems to laugh at the mind at times, because our hearts many times defy logic and analysis, reasoning and practicality.

Yet, our experience is that the heart is where Love exists. And while there may be a few that say Love is only a chemical reaction in the brain, those same people, don’t tell their children “I only love you because the chemicals in my brain go that way. Take away the chemicals and I won’t love you anymore.” Imagine what would happen inside a child’s heart if we did say that to our children.

*****
I’ve given practical and rational discourse on science and religion. This comes from a mental understanding of the topic. Yet, if we didn’t also have caring and compassion and love and kindness in our hearts, we wouldn’t care what people believed or what conflicts arise from beliefs. The motivation for writing this discourse as well as the motivation for all the searching and believing comes from the heart – the desire to help people understand and possibly feel that we are all in this together.

We are brothers and sisters seeking the same thing – to know ourselves, to love, to learn ultimate truths, to know what is beyond our current knowing and beyond ourselves – to answer the question – “Is scientific understanding all we are or are we more than just analysis in the mind? Are we also Love embodied and as Love embodied, a part of God, the ultimate limitless Love, – a God who possibly exists way beyond our limited scientific understanding which we have today?”

For us to hold to this belief, we must hold to something other than logic and reasoning, we must hold to that which is from the heart – which helps motivate us to open up our minds to possibilities infinite in size and scope. This is so we can answer the question, “Is Love real?”

Imagine if scientific study discovered that Love is real.  For science to do this, it must leap beyond the confines of the physical world, because when it does, it will discover much more than just that.

Now, imagine a different world – one without Religion – a world only of science, unlimited science with no religion – where religious beliefs were not pursued or allowed. What would that world be like?
Now imagine a world with both science and religion where both were pursued and allowed.” (The Rainbow Cards, ©, 1998-2015, Jodie Senkyrik)

The Ukraine Crisis

“Hello, I would like to know how you see the Ukraine crisis developing in 2015 from a psychic point of view. It seems that Russian President Putin is volatile and dangerous. Also, we don’t know what are the plans of the US-government really are. Please tell us, if possible, your point of view. Thank you!” P.

I promise you’re not going to be satisfied with my point of view.  I could comment greatly on politics and such, but I’m not going to.  The people in the midst of the political situations are only repeating scenarios that have been played out hundreds of time during human history – history repeating itself.  The only difference is that the names have changed and the locations have changed.  But, the scenarios are the same.

Politics, as we see today in our world, will come and go, like all the other political situations that have come and gone.  Empires will rise and fall as usual.  Therefore my response to you is as I’ve said many times in this blog.

Christ spoke to Peter when he asked the same question – “What about those other people?” Christ’s response was this, “You don’t worry about them.  I’ll worry about them.  You follow me.”

This response speaks volumes to those who would try to understand it’s implications.  What he is saying is this, ‘I know all about all that is happening.  You do not, and you don’t understand what I understand.  You follow the example I’ve given you and deal with what is in front of you.’

Our purpose on this Earth is to address aspects of our self – to change our responses to life’s experiences – to bring forth patience, understanding, hope, kindness, forgiveness, mercy, love, and all Fruits of the Spirit instead of hatred, prejudice, violence, vengeance, etc.  In bringing the Fruits of the Spirit forth, we are bringing forth the Consciousness of God into the Earth.  Bringing forth the Consciousness of God through our hearts is what changes all life on the planet – and for the better.

Politics’ purpose is to further the status quo.  Bringing forth the Consciousness of God via the Spirit that exists within the heart-felt acts of kindness, mercy, patience, etc, furthers the growth and evolution of humanity.

The issue isn’t “what is happening with President Putin and the Ukraine?”  The issue is “what is happening within your and my hearts and minds.”  If nothing is happening within your and my hearts, then it doesn’t matter what happens in Russia and the Ukraine, no evolution will happen in the Earth from anything done there.  However, if we do our inner work within our own hearts and minds, then it doesn’t matter what happens in Russia and the Ukraine, because the evolution of humanity has begun in the Earth and won’t be stopped not even in Russia and the Ukraine.  When we do our inner work on ourselves within our own hearts and minds, the Consciousness of God is present with us.

What will happen in the Ukraine?  The same thing that happened when this scenario played out all the other times in human history.  Except today, we have the opportunity to pray for all soul’s and all life involved with these events.

Those souls that are prayed for have God in their presence more than those not prayed for.  And if our prayers are for all life and all souls involved with these events, then all of them will have God’s presence more than if they were not prayed for.  With God’s presence ever growing stronger in the lives of people prayed for, as well as the Earth as a whole, then perhaps history won’t repeat itself.

August 2015: The 2nd of 3 Events – June thru August

As time continues, I examine what I’ve previously psychically seen.  Sometimes I get a little bit more information.

I’m seeing in more detail the massive underground shifting that will trigger the disaster that I’m seeing in August 2015.  This massive shifting will move water in all directions.  I still see the most destruction going southward, but I am also seeing a less powerful tsunami wave moving northward.

The people of the islands in the Caribbean are no strangers to hurricanes and higher waves washing in with storms.  The answer to this event is to prepare for the predicted potential earthquake, tsunami wave and volcanic activity.

There will be many who won’t have any preparation made.  However, if anyone knows people in the areas that I refer to, do tell them that predictions are coming out about their region being the location of the next world disaster.  They may dismiss it or laugh, but isn’t that better than never hearing their laughter again?

This potential is so great that I have stopped looking for any way for it to NOT happen.  Every time I look psychically, I see it.  Every time I look psychically, I see a little bit more and different details.

The steps to take now are preparation.  We were at 1 year last August with the predictions I made then.  Now, we are at 6 months until August, 2015.  In a blink of an eye, June will be here and the “signs” I’m seeing, will begin – on or around June 13 – perhaps June 10 to June 15.  Then another similar “sign” in the 1st half of July – on or around July 11 – or from July 7 to July 15.

I’m putting these dates down, so that if these signs do happen, it will help us to prepare ourselves in whatever way we can – even if it’s just to pray, or support the Red Cross, or donate, or warn our friends and relatives in the areas – regardless of whether we are in the area that will go through this.

Creating Experiences

We are the authors of all the experiences which we go through – as souls. We won’t see this or understand how this can be if we only look at this one life as being all there is to human/soul existance on the Earth. However, we are the authors of all the experiences which we go through.

Consider this more in terms of eternity – the eternal past and the eternal present. If we go back into the past of our soul (this life and beyond this life) we will find when we wrote the beginning of the story of each particular experience. For example, our parents – very few people DON’T have issues with parents, when perceived from the human level of perception. But, looking from the soul’s perspective, one can say that we created or wrote the script in which our parents acted out the parts.

Yes, our parents had and/or have their issues, and in “acting out the parts” they helped solidify our issues. But, if they had chosen to not “act out” those parts, we still would have our script out there ready for someone to come into our life at some time to “act out” the parts that tie into our issues.

So, in actuality, we have issues, imbalances, patterns in our psyche, (whatever we want to call them) within us. We have them when entering into our life, and these issues are of our own creation  during some point within our soul’s existence – including possibly in previous human lives, (but not always a human life as the beginning source.)

Hence, we can see that we are the authors of our own experiences. We created the circumstances by acting out in some other time and place towards someone or something else. This started the ripple that went out into the entire infinite universe for all life to be on the receiving end of that experience in some fashion, … including ourselves. And so the experience of being slapped, or killed, or betrayed, or shunned, or hated, or beaten, … or the experiences of being loved, or welcomed, or accepted, or cared for, or being shown mercy, or forgiven, or being shown patience… all of these experiences are in our lives because we created them for another person or persons, in our past and the ripple of that creation then went out into the entire infinite universe for all to be on the receiving end of that experience in some fashion, … including ourselves.

While this may set the stage for understanding, this by no means is the end of the story of the purpose of the return of these experiences. The purpose of the return of these experiences – the experiences which we created for others to receive from us – is for us to find a different response and create a different experience for others. It is for us to create an experience of response to other persons that comes from the place within that God resides.

It is for us to express this God that resides within our own heart via the fruits of the Spirit. You’ve read this here before. When we respond to experiences with patience or long suffering, kindness or understanding, cooperation or forgiveness, or mercy, or letting go of our judgement/criticism or any of the other Fruits of the Spirit, whether towards others or even towards ourselves – we are bringing a real balance back to our own consciousness.

So many times we don’t bother responding from our heart. Or we give up “this one time.” Or we decide it’s too hard or too late or unnecessary or any other number of our very clever reasons not to use effort to let God guide us in our hearts. (I think of the “given up” notion more for myself.) We may continue the status quo once again creating an experience of pain and suffering for others.

However, in that moment of instant willingness and freewill, when we bring forth mercy or patience, etc, we bring God back into our creating, and healing begins, balance begins, and resolution happens. The new healing and balance with the energy and consciousness of forgiveness or mercy or any of the F’s of the Spirit then becomes the experience we create for others and send out into the infinite universe. In time, again, because creation is happening, we create this for all, including ourselves and we will be on the receiving end of what we create for others.

As we do for others, we do for ourselves. The experience we create for others to experience, we create for ourselves to experience. Some call this Karma. Some call this Creation. It is both. But, it is not law without it also being a living process happening within all life.

******

PS. A World of Peace won’t happen without forgiveness, mercy, and all the Fruits of the Spirit. It is these that bring about the world of Peace. How? As individuals. Once again, if we, as an individual, create a World of Peace for another person or being, we are creating for all. And remember, patience is one of the Fruits of the Spirit, also. It takes patience to create a new world. Just ask Christ.

Airplane Disaster question

“What do you make of all the plane crashes and disappearances that have been happening since earlier in 2014? It’s seeming to be more and more common for planes to be crashing than it ever has. Thoughts? Insights?” R.

The focus is not about “events”, but about life.  These things and things like these remind us that life is fleeting and can change in one second.  Someone can be in our life one MOMENT sharing their life with us, and us sharing our life with them, yet in the next MOMENT, gone instantly, neither of us, ever again able to share our lives.

Take the MOMENT to show someone your love, so that if that MOMENT comes when they are gone, at least, in that MOMENT they’ll know they are loved.
