Karma is not a magic calculator that keeps tabs on everything. Karma is consciousness.
Karma is when the pebble is thrown into the Infinite Ocean and all drops of water experience the pebble thrown, – including the drop of water who threw it – and each experiencing the pebble thrown in different ways based on their own placement in the Infinite Ocean.
Karma isn’t a black box which something goes in and something comes out.
Karma is shouting “Hello” in the Grand Canyon and the echo going out to all points in the Infinite Universe. Each point of the Universe gets to hear the “Hello”, – including the point who yelled it – and all in different ways based on their position in the Infinite Universe.
Karma is not judgement.
Karma is our own getting to experience our own created action, thought or feeling. There is no judgment – only returning to us with some type of congruency to when we sent it out.
Our created action, thought and feeling, goes out to all things, because there is only One, albeit, Infinite Consciousness and this One Infinite Consciousness experiences all things within each consciousness which exists as part of the One Infinite Consciousness.
Karma is cause and effect, but not simply physics.
Karma is when we think a thought, any thought, and our toes experience the thought, because our body is altogether united and One with itself.
Karma is, …
because everything is alive and exists as United in One. We’re not always aware of karma, but we’re not always aware of this Oneness of Unity, either. We have much yet to learn and much more to which we can open our minds and hearts.
Choosing our freedoms (or freewill, whichever word we use) is important to Americans, also to Texans, and even to people in the world. His freedom to choose was also something Christ sought when He prayed, “Father, take this cup away from me.”
However, His prayer was not “God, help me no longer love You or them anymore”, which is also a freedom we humans can and sometimes do choose of our own freewill.
Freedom and Love MANY TIMES do oppose each other – like when we must choose one or the other. Which is the most important if freedom is our reason to no longer love? Yet, sometimes, when they conflict, choosing love (instead of choosing freedom for our self) is the factor we invoke, like choosing to donate an organ to help another, or choosing to spend our money on our children rather than ourselves when we choose their well-being first, or when our actions are to benefit all people and not just to benefit our self, like Christ, when He prayed, …
“Yet, Father, let not my will, but thine will be done in me.”
Like a wave in the ocean, a moment comes and goes, lasting only a short time, existing within the ocean of eternity. The ocean existed before the wave of the moment came, and will exist after the wave of the moment leaves.
Like the wave that exists within the ocean, the moment exists within eternity,
Like the ocean that exists within each wave, eternity exists within each moment.
Every moment we experience is a moment of experiencing eternity. We are experiencing, as well as creating eternity with every choice of how we come and how we go. Every moment of eternity is a moment we are making a choice. Now is another moment of eternity. What do we choose for this moment of eternity?
As I continue to psychically look at the lines of time written in the sand, this is what I see:
With regards to the Climate Crisis which we now are living in and increasing, . . .
For all of our sakes, collectively the general attitude towards changing our living choices/behaviors and such, . . .
WARNING: Many things in this article will be very difficult to read and even MORE difficult to accept. I don’t even want to post this. But, it holds information.
Success, . . . reducing and reversing Climate Change, – is NOT happening, as it would need to, in order to stop or reverse the direction the climate is going. I’m seeing less and less transformation with regards to the collective consciousness in dealing with the Climate Crisis. Currently, those who oppose changing lifestyles – oppose changing government regulations – oppose changing behaviors – oppose changing from “convenient” to “inconvenient” truths – oppose putting the climate needs/Earth needs first — are choosing to not change their stance and choosing to not change. They work to oppose change, and will not participate. (It is their freewill choice given to them by God.) They strive to establish their influence in the behavior of many millions of people around the globe. This “no change” state of consciousness is still strong and therefore, delaying more and more the behavior changes which would prevent ever growing climate disasters in the Earth. It is a case of metaphorically but also realistically: Nero fiddling while Rome burns.
Those who work to support the changes needed – well, I equate it to being equal to: selling the change of behavior ideas, as if selling margarine on TV – “Try our brand of butter. It will help the climate.” As if suggesting to people, and enticing people into buying something. This approach to selling the Climate Crisis is not working. It is trying to convince people logically. It is based on the economics of changing the behaviors and thinking in the world. It is based on convenience as if it were simply a choice to make at the local grocery store. But, the results of climate change – the disasters that are happening to us, now, are not and will not be convenient in any way, because the destruction is happening to people – families, children, women, men, animals, livestock, pets and not just pocketbooks. These disasters don’t offer a choice for people to make. These disasters, that people now experience, and which people (we) are soon going to be experiencing more of, don’t ask politely, or say “please”. The disasters’ only “message” is “Here, people! This is now your life. . . and death.” The disasters’ only choice given to us, when these events happen, is “People, choose today – your life or your death, or your loved ones life or death.”
The people in question – who dominate the decision making around the world – in general, as a whole, are not strongly invested in changing lifestyles, nor are the people who elect them who want “something easy” and convenient. The tendency is to be strongly invested in living the way one always has lived in the past. This entrenchment – this anchoring of one’s life with the perspective which they grew up with – perspectives and beliefs like “everything is fine” – “there is nothing needed to do” – “we can keep on doing the same thing” – this state of consciousness, point of view, perspective, belief system, is so prevalent that it slows down any major changes which would otherwise prevent so much coming destruction. The entrenched belief for the most part is that these events may happen to humanity, but they don’t happen to individuals —- like me.
So, obviously this means that the events we’re going to see in the years and decades ahead will impact us all – the whole Earth – in more stark ways and in more direct ways as time continues. No human being on the planet will be safe from Climate Crisis events – some events of which can/could be diminished – if, collectively, there were stronger and more direct actions taken to change the directions humanity, as a whole, is going. Even though we are experiencing these events now, sometimes in small ways, we are the frog in the pot, with the temperature of the water going higher. For many, the pot is already boiling causing the deaths of families, children, women, men, animals, livestock, and pets.
It is as if, as a planet, we are driving down an old road, and the signs along the road, which are many, are saying “Do not use this road.” “Danger, road ahead is hazardous.” “Danger, bridge ahead is not usable.” “Turn around. Take another route. This route is not safe.” “Bridge is unusable”. Some people in the vehicle are saying, “let’s pay attention to the signs.”, while so many are still saying, “We’re fine. There’s no problem. We’ll keep going as is.”
The population of the planet is nearing 8 billion. I add this in, because this number is growing. This number is absolutely significant because of the impact on the planet – the resources needed to help 8,000,000,000 people live – the speed at which 8,000,000,000 people consume these resources – the waste and trash from 8,000,000,000 people who have consumed the resources – and the lack of any significant handling of the waste and trash of 8,000,000,000 people. Then add in the refusal of so many people to change many different behaviors related to any of these. Then add in the social beliefs, religious beliefs, economic beliefs, everyday beliefs, beliefs that “we should be able to do it without any economic inconvenience”, which are contrary to opening up our minds to different ways of thinking and living.
While we, collectively, have been changing based on behavior convenience and/or economic convenience, the results – some of which the Earth itself will create – that which we are going to face – are not going to be based on any form of convenience. Neither will these results allow anyone to have a choice. The impact is going to be on you and I – unless we are the ones that die. This means that the continued droughts will not be – are not – convenient, nor the hurricanes, or fires, the dwindling of usable water, the mass extinctions which are already happening, the pollution in the oceans, and reduction of food to feed the 8,000,000,000 going on 9,000,000,000 people. All of these will be/are very inconvenient.
What this also means is that the Covid Pandemic is not the worst problem we’re facing in the decades ahead. Vaccines have been helping a considerable amount, to return a “sort of” normalcy to how we live momentarily. But the climate crisis is decades long and even centuries long. So, there is no such thing anymore as normal. We don’t live in that world anymore. People will not ever live in that world on the Earth ever again, ….. at least not for hundreds or perhaps thousands of years. This also means in the US, (yes, this is a contributing factor in 200 years) that the US will one day break up into 3-4 different nations, in the 23rd – 24th century because of many factors which include responses and opposition to responses to climate change, as well as the lack of cooperation and the lack of political will to do what is needed.
If you consider this narrative to be negative, drastic, pessimistic, despairing, fatalistic, doom-saying, hopeless and defeatist, you’re right. It is all of that. The future starting today is written in sand. But, the future that started in 1900, 1945, and 1960 has already been written and is being fulfilled. The future starting 1980, 1990 and 2000 has already been written and is being fulfilled.
Then think of what you’d rather have — — someone crying out in the wilderness – someone yelling that the flood is coming so build an ark! Think about what it was like for Noah, who did listen to what he was told, and did build an ark. Think about how people around him responded to him trying to warn people.
The Biblical story is based on actual events and people. There was a massive upheaval that caused a great flood, and there have been other major Earth changes in the history of this planet, which caused supreme upheavals, major numbers of people who have died, – think Black Plague – think major flooding – think earthquakes – think tsunamis – think ever growing larger hurricanes – think about why Atlantis doesn’t exist above sea level anymore – and think about why people don’t even believe Atlantis ever existed – how this land was so completely and wholly removed from the face of the Earth – so much so that few believe it actually could have ever existed – thinking instead that it couldn’t possibly have happened because events that destructive could never have happened.
And then think man-made events which have caused great numbers of deaths, injuries, and destruction of property. Now, we’re faced with realizing that we don’t need bombs to go down the old road that leads to “Danger! Bridge out ahead! Your lives are in danger!” (I’ve decided to not even mention the most recent man-made mass-death disasters of Fukushima, the World Trade Center Attack, Nagasaki, Hiroshima, World Wars, the Holocaust, Small Wars, and how many people’s deaths are because of air pollution, water pollution, toxic living conditions, and the like. I don’t mention these mostly because of the fog of personal beliefs and opinions surrounding the consciousnesses when considering the impact of pollution – not realizing that 8,000,000,000 frogs are still sitting in the pot of water that is beginning to boil.)
No One Wants This
No one wants to experience these events of sorrow and suffering, much less think about them. No one ever wants to believe that these levels of destruction can be possible. No one ever wants to think that events like Fukushima or the Indonesian Tsunami would just happen with very little warning. No one ever wants to think that the signs on the side of the road, saying “Turn around, Danger ahead” are real. No one ever wants to think that we generally are making things worse, not better by continuing to live life as if there were no problems.
I Look Ahead
I look ahead and see 20 years from now, and then 30 years from now, and then 40 years from now – years that we may see – and since we are on this particular road – the road of “change only if it’s convenient” – and I see drastic differences – even between now to 20 years from now. It is because of this timeline that I see why the current dominant generation fights against changes – because it’s so hard to believe it’s real. It is because of the drastic Earth and climate changes that are coming on this road, that younger people work so hard to get older people to listen – trying any way at all to change the road at which we’re all driving down collectively. But, too many parents and grandparents aren’t listening.
It is also because we are collectively the frog in the pot of water that is coming to a boil. We don’t see the difference between Monday and Tuesday, or the difference between Tuesday and Wednesday. It all seems to be the same, and therefore, we find it easy to discount and ignore what others are saying – those others who are crying out in the wildernesses – those others whose names are “Noah” . . . or “Greta”. Those crying out don’t say what we want them to, so we tell ourselves anything to deny it – like “it’s all political”.
For so many of us, we are still sitting down and having a picnic on the train tracks. In the distance, there is some sound that sounds like a low whistle. We can choose to believe it’s only the wind – normalcy – and ignore it. But, there are some people over there yelling at us – something to do with a train – but we don’t see it, so we tell them to go away and leave us be, they don’t really know, and we’re not moving, because we don’t see anything. And it is easy to tune them out, turn off our hearing so that we can barely hear anything said or any now-faint whistles . . . or maybe it was wind, that we thought for only one split moment could have been a warning, which we found easy to forget. And so we continue with our picnic on the train tracks, while the tracks are shaking and vibrating more and more for some reason, and we don’t look up.
Is there any good news?
Yes. The good news is not just knowing that human beings are resilient, and the human species will survive the climate related destruction which has happened and will happen in the years, decades and possibly centuries ahead – and without needing to live in bunkers and horde guns and food – which is not helpful or wise. Yes, the human species will survive, but many individual persons won’t, as we’re watching each day in the world.
We have made magnificent transformational change all through the 20th century. The disasters which we have so far been able to avoid would have made today’s disasters look like just stepping into a rain puddle. So, it is possible. Yet, the struggle to move into more transformational change has been and is getting more difficult as more people choose to not participate, and instead, directly oppose helpful steps.
We cannot change those who exercise their own freewill given to them by God. But, we can take a look at our own actions and beliefs. We can take a look each day at what we could do on a particular day. We can take a look at our beliefs, our inner self work, our efforts at healthy living, our efforts at healing our relationships, our efforts at meditation and prayer, our efforts to cooperate with others concerning better decisions for our lives, and we can take a look at how we then may help others in their lives, as well. We can take a look at the different parts of our lives and with inner guidance, find answers to the questions of “What can I do, today, to help?”
Technology won’t save us, by itself. Technology does not have a heart or a mind, which feels compassion for men, women and children, and unity with other people. However, there are some newer technologies that are slow in making headway, which in decades ahead – in this century – will help to slow down the vehicle driving down that old road heading towards even greater disasters.
Technology: In fact, one example: in the 2020’s, Toyota and Honda car manufactures – already working on even better electric cars, will continue to make headway. Toyota’s stock and Honda’s stock are good buys and will be even better as the 2020’s continue and go into the 2030’s. Toyota is a steady good stock, being ahead of the game, and Honda will make a great breakthrough around 2026 that will cause their stock to shoot upward. (Buy, now, though.) And there are other tech areas which are worth mentioning.
Sadly, I see bad news about the Amazon jungle in South America – the size it is now, will be reduced to 1/2 of this size in only 15-18 years. (Do you remember 15-18 years ago? 2006?) There is little progress or willingness by those nations’ powers that be – to stop the devouring of the natural resources. This will trigger even greater numbers of hurricanes in the Atlantic, which will trigger many destructive changes and many lives lost along the US eastern coast – from Florida, all the way up to Virginia, with some hurricanes reaching Maine. Some islands in the Caribbean are foreseen to disappear underwater permanently. Land disappearing underwater has happened before, especially in the Atlantic.
Politically speaking, Donald Trump will never hold a political office, again. Events in his life in 2023 will determine this. Joe Biden will win a second term in 2024. The disasters of 2023 and 2024 and the Biden administration’s response to help people, will help Joe Biden to win, as well as the Republican Party’s putting all their hope in Donald Trump. Trump won’t come through for them. If they were to reestablish leadership through other people, they would venture better, but for most of them, the strategy is to hang on to glory days and strategies of the past. New leadership for the Republicans will only come in 2026, when better people will move in place.
The presidency of 2017-2021 has served many things – one is to bring forth to the surface, making it known throughout the world, the differences in consciousness across the nation and across the world – those who wish to move forward on new roads of change and readiness for the future and those who wish to move back to using the old roads of past glory — those who wish to reject the call of working together (the call from the Light of the World) and those who wish to seek to build a better world for every peoples, which only comes from bringing forth the Light of the World — those who wish to unify and those who wish to divide — those who wish to increase diversity and those who wish to ignore diversity and choose sameness.
So many of us have had very painful awakenings regarding the people in our own lives, and the deeper beliefs and feelings which have come forth in discovery. Yet, because no one is all one side/way/beliefs or the other, we are called to continue to work to try to bridge the expanse between opposing beliefs, by letting go of judgement of those who have an opposing view. We are called to see the good in those who frustrate and discourage us, as well as know the experience of long-suffering – the suffering which comes from loving those to whom we can’t unite with because they reject unity. It is this that Christ felt when He looked upon Jerusalem and said, “So many times, I would have gathered you all into my arms, but you would not have me.” Christ does not give up and has not quit. Christ never left this world, because His work still continues through those who open the door to mercy, kindness, and forgiveness, when He knocks on the door to one’s heart.
A Minor Prediction for the 2030’s
In the 2020’s the Qphenomenon will grow significantly, and in the early 2030s, the Qphenomenon will come crashing down, because of discovery of the increasing continued criminal activities of its central core originators. What was started as more prank and joke than anything else, caught on because many people wanted ammunition for their prejudices and their fear of change. Qphenom creates this ammunition according to what their customers demand. It absolutely is possible to be misled if someone feeds us exactly what we already want to believe against someone.
Yes, there is hope – in letting go of the past way of – 1. continuing to attack people in our minds, hearts and words, 2. behaving without awareness and 3. living without considering consequences.
There is hope in the letting go of 4. trying to get back to what made us comfortable back then – what we think must be easier.
There is hope in looking at our lives today, right now, and asking,
What can I do today?
There is hope in working at enacting new ways of living, and letting go of any old ways of living which brings harm in any form, held onto because we think these ways are easier. There is hope in thinking of ourselves as one member of a multi-member community, and enacting behaviors to further this thought, instead of as an individual who can go it alone. There is hope in looking for new ideas for living, new behaviors for living, new determinations for living.
There is hope in believing that God is not some THING far away, and must therefore not be interested much in helping with “my” facing life’s challenges and hardships. There is hope in believing that we do have help which we don’t even know about. There is hope in finding new resources within ourselves – finding new courage, finding new determination – finding new Willingness to learn and try. There is hope in believing that others “believe in me”. There is hope in believing in others, then in uniting with others.
As I’ve told people for decades, our best source of help – both giving and receiving – is at the local community level. All of us at the local community level are the ones who – when things go horribly wrong – are there with shovels, brooms, rubber boots, bottled water, and muscle to help dig us out of the mountain that just fell on top of us. There is especially hope when we are one of the people with the shovel trying to dig others out, because we then know that hope lives within our self. There is also hope when we care within our hearts for the people in our lives, our family, friends, community, because when we are involved in helping and being helped, we recognize the caring that is the same in someone else’s heart – someone standing right next to us wearing muddy rubber boots and working a shovel, just like us.
There is hope because God lives inside our hope – God is the Hope – God is the caring spirit – alive inside us. God is the Infinite Hope, never-ending Hope. God is the Infinite Caring – never-ending caring – caring about our lives and always working to help us get back up when we get knocked down. God is the one standing next to us carrying a shovel to help dig us out, and God is the one within our own self when we pick up the shovel and help dig someone else out.
Living through the times ahead will be very similar to how we live now, – but only in regards to our “Taking life one day at a time”. What will continue to drive us through living one day at a time is “Doing the best we can with what we have.” There is no going back to a world that will never return to us. But, there is going forward today – starting today – looking for new thoughts, new beliefs even, new ideas, and new actions and behaviors. The perseverance within humanity comes from doing the best we can with the life we live today, and then keeping an eye open to see if anyone else needs help to do the best they can with what they have.
We need most to check on ourselves and others to see if we’re the complacent frog, and we find our self inside a pot of water in our life, and it seeming more and more like the water is getting hotter. Or perhaps, we need to check to see if our hearing is okay, and listen harder for the whistle, while noticing the train tracks are shaking/vibrating even more, . . . then look up to see what is racing towards us and which cannot be stopped quickly – if at all.
Community does not ever mean and has never meant “me first”. It means all of us, together. It means no matter what road we find ourselves on, when we come to the old road, all of us together get our shovels and make the road better for all of us. It means when we come to the bridge that is too horrible for life, all of us together look for ways to build a better bridge to continue our lives together, knowing that we need each other – we need each other, because we’ve been designed to need each other – and we can, with hope, find ways to be the community which we need help from and which needs our help. . . . and sometimes, that community is the whole planet.
As an individual person, we can only do what one individual person can do, affecting our own life and the lives of those around us. As people, we can only do what people can do. But, we can only do what people can do, if we unite with other people, cooperating, and working for everyone’s benefit, instead of using our own individual fear and prejudice as the weapon to strike out at others who are trying to gather people together to get on board the Ark. If we’ve never considered working with or never wanted to work with others around this before, . . . we can never be too late, if we begin and let today be day one. With today being day one, then the future which starts today, and only written in sand, so far, can be rewritten.
Think of the ocean with the waves coming upon the shore – among the grains of sand. Some water stays blended in with the sand, but eventually makes it back out to the ocean.
This is a metaphor for the entrance of souls into the Earth.
While in the sand, we think we’re part of the sand. We think we are sand – physical, and a product of the physical world – created as part of the physical world. But, we are only among the physical world, not of the physical world. We exist among the physical particles, but again, we’re the drops of water in amongst the sand. The sand is everywhere we look, except within.
The sand is so overwhelming to our awareness that we just forget that we are water. But, eventually, we make our way through the journey of physical life, back to the ocean. In this sand world, we call this return to the ocean, death.
In returning to the ocean, we change our consciousnesses again, and need to re-acclimate to the reality that we are among the water droplets that add to the ocean.
We are no longer among the sand which had overwhelmed our awareness and our consciousness which lead to our forgetting the ocean, again. And back in the ocean, we relearn of who and what we are.
And there are some among the sand who speak about the ocean to try to help the drops of water remember the ocean. And one drop of water came 2000 years ago and demonstrated the ocean to those who would listen and see. And He returned to the ocean and then returned to this sand world, at will, reminding other drops of water that the ocean is real, because water is real. And there are many others who try to share that we are drops of water- drops of the ocean – even though we are in the sand.
And we can take this metaphor as far as we want, because water droplets go everywhere in this world, yet always make it back to the ocean.
Even with some still thinking there is only sand.
Now, … think of how many drops of water of the ocean get to experience the sand with any of the the beaches of the planet.
And think of how many drops, and how much water in the “Ocean”, will never experience (touch) any sand.
This too, is a metaphor for the Infinite Expanse of Consciousness – the Infinite Consciousness of the Infinite All – that which we refer to as the Infinite Consciousness of God – and what yet awaits us when we “graduate” beyond this planetary plane of existence.
To move on, simply requires us to let go of everything we hold onto in this world – like hate, fear, condemnation, judgment of others, selfishness, blame, the closing of our mind and heart, etc . . .
In the journey to try to know ourselves better, one question we all can ask of ourselves is this – how do I benefit from being unforgiving?
Or how do I benefit from being unmerciful?
Or how do I benefit from judging others?
Or how do I benefit from choosing to not be understanding of another person’s life?
Or how do I benefit from being impatient with others?
Or how do I benefit from being unkind to another?
Or, in turn, if we seek to know ourselves better, we can ask ourselves a different question, like …
how do i benefit from forgiving?
Or how do I benefit from being merciful?
Or how do I benefit from letting go of judging others?
Or how do I benefit from choosing to try to understand another person’s life?
Or how do I benefit from being patient with others?
Or how do I benefit from being kind to another human being?
When we choose to not ask deeper questions of our self, we can understand what goes on within us when faced with this, and then understand why others don’t ask these deeper questions of themselves, also. And hence why they don’t try to change, either.
When we choose to ask our self deeper questions, we can gain greater insight into ourselves, and perhaps one day use that insight and learning to choose better when relating to others.
Blessed, also, are they who ask self difficult questions, for they will gain the insight that leads to the path of healing, which leads to the path of change, which leads to the path of Loving Kindness.
More often than not, we don’t recognize God when God is present. We don’t know what to look for. We don’t know when to look. We don’t know how to recognize God. This is because we just don’t know that much about God. We can read that God is Infinite, or God is everywhere, or God is everything, but we just don’t see how this can be, and so we don’t see God. Jesus said, “Many will see and then believe, but blessed are they who don’t see, yet still believe.” The Edgar Cayce readings say that “Faith is the belief in things unseen.” It is also believing in things not understood in our minds and paradigms.
If we just don’t yet see God, then perhaps all we can try for is to believe that everything we see is God. We don’t yet have to understand it, but we can still believe it. After all, there are many things we don’t understand, but we still believe them. And there are many things that we see.
Everything we see is God. Now, that’s quite a thought, and quite a belief. Everything we see is God. Take a look around. Everything we see is God. There’s something about this belief that feels good. Everything we see is God. Keep your eyes open for now. Everything we see …
Right now, in the US and the world, so many people are concerned, worried, fearful and many other feelings about our own nation, the world we live in – the world around us – “The External World” – that which we see, hear, taste, feel and smell, all around us.
Some of us have spent our entire lives focused on the world around us, fixing, working, and accomplishing things in this world. We may have reached nearing mid-life age or the end of our lives and instead of feeling fantastically accomplished and wonderfully fulfilled, we feel depressed, anxious, upset, resentful or angry, sometimes to the point of medicating ourselves to help us deny this.
So many of us can look at what we’ve accomplished out in the world in our lifetime, and start to experience deep within where it has become nothing but a whisper – that we haven’t changed the world as much as we wanted to during this life. We haven’t gotten the insight that we thought we’d have. We haven’t gotten from this path in the way we thought we would, so we get angry and upset, disillusioned and disappointed, and lost in wondering if what we did had any value at all. If we haven’t made the world into what we wanted by the time we reach “NOW”, we may get depressed, or despondent and sometimes a sense of despair and deep loss may come up within us.
We can even take our anxiety and anger out on others – those who we feel are to blame for us not “changing the world” – not “making the world a better place”. We see PLENTY of blame and attacks on social media. We tend to take this anger out on people who we feel “got in our way” of making this world better or our life better. The daily news shows the worst cases of how some people have demonstrated their utter loss and frustration through killing of others.
Regardless of which side of the fence we’re on with regards to any group or culture we belong to, so many times, we blame others for our own “not making the world into the better place that I wanted to make it into” – this includes not making our own personal, private world or circle into what we wanted to make it into. We blame others, and …
… even our self (although we don’t always admit to blaming ourselves since “it’s obviously someone else’s fault”).
If we came into the world to make the world a better place for ourselves (and others maybe) “to fix the world”, and therefore, all our effort had been focused on changing the world around us – changing any part of this planet Earth back into a “Garden of Eden” for ourselves (and others, maybe) …
but yet, if we haven’t worked to change/fix/heal/better ourselves …
… then we would have wasted our entire lives.
Life is not about fixing the external world around us, in which we’re living. Many think it is. We didn’t come into this world, with the #1 directive being to change the External World around us. We didn’t come with the purpose in life being to change the Earth.
What so many don’t remember and acknowledge is the External World around us – all of it – is the mirror image of what is within us – the mirror image of what is within our consciousness, within our minds, within our hearts and within our souls. The world that we see and “live inside” is the reflection of what is inside our consciousnesses. What we see around us is the reflection of all of us – what we have within us to work on to change.
We have made the Earth into our own image and likeness.
Even if we did make great changes in the External World – the Earth – we would still return to whatever level of living/dying/creating/destroying we’re at as the human race – unless we make the great changes within ourselves first.
We are here to change our own consciousness. We are here in this level of consciousness – in this “realm” we call the Universe – the Solar System – the Earth – to change our own selves – our conscious and subconscious minds, our hearts at both the shallowest and the deepest places within us, and our souls in their full existence.
If we haven’t put effort into changing our own self – we have wasted all the years in the world, and it is only natural that we’re going to feel deep inside our self – that we haven’t accomplished what we came here to accomplish – that we haven’t changed the REAL thing we came to change – our self.
The Portrait of Dorian Gray
Ultimately, this fact is true – if we’ve changed the world around us, but we haven’t changed our self, then we’ve accomplished nothing, because the world will simply eventually revert back to what it was – the reflection – the Earth and the world we think we see – like the portrait of Dorian Gray, which will always reflect that truth which is within us – the unchanged, unexamined issues, harmful emotions and the broken and injured relationships we have with our self and others.
Even now, the world reflects the conflict we have within ourselves – not just with others, but the conflict we have with our own self which we haven’t yet examined, or which we haven’t yet acknowledged or worked on. It is very true that all of us have some conflict within us which we have not yet examined – waiting for us to get around to it when we have more time – “we’re just so busy, right now. We’ve got a world to fix, after all.”
The reflection we see in the mirror – the world that we see around us – will continue as it is – as long as we avoid the inner work on the inner world we have within our inner selves. This reflection is ourselves that we see in the mirror, and it is this that is within which is the source of what we see out there.
The New Reflection
When we change our mind and heart about our judgements, our criticisms, our bitterness, our resentments, our rages, our angers, our fears, our abuses, our attacks, our belittlements, our disrespects, etc. within ourselves, – changed into forgiveness and mercy, compassion, tolerance, loving kindness, understanding, patience with others and ourselves, etc., then we will begin to see the new reflection in the mirror of the planet. Because some of us have done some of this work, we are already seeing some of this change, but our own part that we play in this change – this is what we must address – sooner or later.
When we address our own issues, then we will have changed the Inner Source of the reflection that we see in the External World around us.
It is when we bring these higher qualities forward when standing in the midst of the lower/harmful qualities. Not in the midst of someone else’s portrait of Dorian Gray, but OUR OWN. Bringing forth our higher qualities of kindness, mercy, humility, and the others when we have previously brought forth our lower qualities – in the face of our self when we are wanting instead to react spewing forth any manner of negative and harmful qualities – this is the moment of true changing of the world.
Christ said, “With God, all things are possible.” This means that with God – which is the Infinite Source of love, patience, determination, kindness, persistence, wisdom, forgiveness, mercy, compassion – all inner injuries can be healed. This means that with God – which is love, patience, determination, kindness, persistence, wisdom, forgiveness, mercy, compassion – everything within us that we’ve lost, can be found. This means that with God – everything about us that is a mess, can be cleaned up and made straight. This means that with God, everything about our real self forgotten can be remembered. And this means that with God, everything broken within us, can be made whole.
It is with our effort then beginning from the center within us, that the Garden of Eden returns. Then does the Earth we want to have form, come into being. Because the Garden of Eden, the Earth we want to exist, is born from the Love and Kindness, the forgiveness and mercy, the patience and understanding, the determination, persistence, tolerance and compassion that one gives to our fellow human beings – all of them plus one – our self.
And, oh, yes, it absolutely is a challenge, … yet, once more…. as Christ said, “For man it is impossible, but with God, all things are possible” – even changing and growing within our self.
I would go so far as to say, that ONLY with God, is this possible.
When I hear someone say, “Black Lives Matter”, I imagine and believe their meaning with their words continues with “Black Lives Matter, Too”. I don’t get a sense that they’re trying to diminish any other person or group, because I imagine their experience is one of being and having been diminished by others. Still, this very well could be just how I think about this.
As I watch this and similar movements, questions come up for me. One question being is with those who say, “Blue Lives Matter.” Do they mean, “Blue Lives Matter, Equally” or do they mean “Blue Lives Matter, More” ? Do they believe that society diminishes those people who wear the blue uniform, and society considers them “less than”, and therefore this phrase needs supported? I don’t know. And I admit, this could be just questions that I have. Everyone else could already know for themselves.
When I hear someone say, “All Lives Matter”, do they mean “All Lives Matter, Equally” or are they also thinking “All Lives Matter, but not equally.” Again, I don’t know. It’s always up to the individual, as to what they think and feel – and what they reveal to others. And I can’t help but ask.
I know that we humans can say one thing and mean another. We can also say something, and have people misunderstand our meaning. And, I will still admit that all of this could be just me and how I think. Everyone else may already have all their answers.
May God bless every person’s effort to seek wisdom and understanding.
There are many in the world, right now, that are saying, “I have the truth. Come to me for the truth.” We see people saying this in politics, on the internet, social media, television, radio, etc. Also, right now, there are many in the world that eagerly seek to blame and condemn others, saying “the others are lying”, “media is lying”, “this person is lying”, “those people conspire in bad activities”, “this or that group is corrupt and wicked”. There are many, right now, in the world who get paid A LOT of money to say just these words.
At the same time, we humans carry fear with us as we live our life. There is plenty that triggers us to fear. I won’t list the litany of all the triggers. Some of us humans even want to trigger fear in others – not always for underhanded reasons, but sometimes to sound an alarm of things that we personally fear.
In dealing with being human, when we’re caught up in words people say and the fears of people, we can forget that as spirit beings living in human bodies, we are not originally of this world. We can forget that we came from spirit and will return to spirit. We can forget that we came not to add to fear to the world, but to add to truth, – and not mankind’s truth, but the truth of Spirit. We came to help share the truth which even Christ worked to bring into this world, and still works to bring into this world – even when Christ’s messages may get misinterpreted, distorted, misunderstood, changed, usurped, refabricated, remade, altered, or even dismissed or rejected.
However, as it turns out, the simpleness of Christ’s message makes it easy to return to His original message:
“Love one another as I have loved you.”
“Love God above all else, and Love your neighbor as yourself.”
“Perfect Love casts out fear.”
“For mankind, it is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.”
Christ, or put another way, the Light and Life of the World does not hide in the shadows of the Internet nor behind anonymity, seeking to be anonymous while condemning selected people, criticizing whomever is chosen as an enemy, attacking people or trying to bring separation and blame. Christ teaches in the light of day, in simple ways, out in the open, with words that demonstrate Love, again, and that Love is real.
But, not everyone wants this.
Christ speaks of unity and brotherhood of all people and all life. Christ speaks of the Father/Mother/God’s Infinite and unending forgiveness, mercy and Love. He speaks of the joy God feels when someone, who regularly chooses acting without love, living in shadows and hiding behind anonymity, chooses instead to seek the Healing of Loving Kindness.
But not everyone wants this.
All things from Christ come from Love and come with Love. This is why all things from Christ heal individual hearts and shared hearts. Everything from the Christ within brings us out from hiding in the shadows – into the light of day where goodwill towards each other becomes real again. Christ/Love gives the best of Life – Love – to all people equally and does not hold back on giving tolerance or mercy continuously. Christ tells us that if we choose to condemn others or remove the splinter from another’s eye, then first remove the huge chunks from our own. Christ says, “let he who is without sin cast the first stone.” Then says, “Neither do I condemn you.”
There are many, many, many that choose condemning anyone they can think of or with whom they disagree. There are many, many, many that choose hiding in the shadows and behind anonymity, again and again. But, Christ’s message is about Loving one another and not about conspiracies, slander, or blaming. He knocks at the door to our heart and mind. He brings healing of our feelings of despair and aloneness. He offers His hand again to help us show tolerance and understanding in the open, in the light of day for all to see.
At any time, we can choose for ourselves to follow the many, many, many who are generous in their condemnation and judgement towards anyone that disagrees with them or whom they choose as their enemy. At any time, we can choose for ourselves to follow slandering and throwing volumes of disrespect on anyone who doesn’t side with us.
Verbal abuse and verbal violence are available to anyone who wants abuse and violence to be part of their heart and mind, and in turn, what they offer the world. Deciding to no longer believe that all people are one people on this Earth – is available to believe and has many that choose to teach this. Denying that all souls are equal in the Eyes of God, – saying this is the truth – and denying Christ’s words “I will never leave you or forsake you” is available if we seek this to be in what we participate.
Christ really does say to us, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” There are many, many, many that seek to teach us that we are lost and alone unless we follow them only, and hide with them in their condemning of the group of their choosing. Even we who sincerely seek the Truth of Christ, can become lost, if we don’t yet know that this journey of seeking truth starts with unlocking the door of our own Heart. While Christ honors His own words, we don’t give the same words back to Him. For us, we still stumble and fall in our efforts to say back “Christ, I will never leave you nor forsake you.” For us it is to pick ourselves back up, dust off our clothes and try again, to walk the path of following Him.
Ultimately, we can only ask ourselves in our own heart, in the moment we are still with our own thoughts, “do we seek to throw stones and add to the condemning and judging that many others want? Do we seek to add to the conflict which many, many, many others choose? Do those who we align with – seek to cast the first stone, …. the second stone, … and more stones after that…
… or does that which we seek offer forgiveness and mercy while we let go of our stones of judgement and condemning? Does that which we seek point to how we can heal our own hearts and relationships, then point to how we can feel a sameness even with those who differ from us?
Better choices are available to us. Better solutions are available to us. Better hearts are available to us. Greater love is available to us, for us, in us and to heal us.
Love is real. Christ is real. And these are easy to say “no” to. Yet, when better choices are available, and instead we say, “Yes” – instead seeking within ourselves – to unlock the door, open it, and say, “Lord, you are welcome within my heart and mind. Teach me the Truth of You. Show me the way of Loving,” Christ will not hold back and will never hide from us. Christ will not hide behind anonymity. Christ will not speak with slander or of conspiracies.
The Christ, who exists within our own Self, ready to be expressed to ourselves and others, will show us the Joy of the Infinite One in helping us to recognize that Oneness with others is the path of the Infinite Consciousness of Love. Christ will show us that nothing separates us from the brotherhood of life except what is in our own mind and our own heart towards others. Christ teaches us that there is no blame of ourselves and others that cannot be forgiven. Even today, He speaks of acceptance, tolerance and Infinite opportunities through Infinite Patience, which are available to us in any and every moment in which we can unlock the door to the Light and say, “God, are you there? Please, come in. Please, help me. Help us. Teach me of you. Teach me of Love. Lord, please, teach me the Truth.”
“I received this [conspiracy] E-mail [message] a couple of days ago… which you may have as well, & I’m overwhelmed at the specific info it entails. … This may or may not resonate with your intel, but have a look.” S.S.
My response regarding what the conspiracy email message says…..
Everyone of us, has our God-given freewill to choose our own path, our own beliefs, and our own choices about participation to learn and grow. This includes our choosing our own struggle with discerning truth and lies. Of our own freewill, we can even choose to be honest —— with ourselves and others – or we can choose to lie and mislead others and ourselves.
Yet, stepping back and looking objectively, when we consider the intentions or “agendas” of others, we can understand that every soul has both good and bad within us. We have both selfishness and unselfishness in us. As Edgar Cayce said in one of his readings, “There is good in the worst of us, and there is bad in the best of us.” There is no situation, circumstance, vocation, organization or anything where this is NOT the case. Everywhere there are human beings – souls – Edgar Cayce’s statement is true. No one is all good or all bad.
This principle of human character includes those people who have chosen to go into public service – our elected officials – who are people – souls – who have chosen this path (for many thousands of reasons,) and this truth does not change within them just because they disagree with each other and sometimes ourselves…. or just because they get accused and blamed – in other words, ‘demonized’.
There is no escaping the fact that we are all human beings, and they are all human beings, no matter how many times we humanly demonize these human beings inside our own human heads. They are people who experience all the feelings and emotions, ups and downs that all people experience. And there is bad in the best person who has chosen to be an elected official. There is good in the worst person who has chosen to be an elected official. —- As I said, there is good in the worst of people, and there is bad in the best of people.
When it comes time to decide who we trust, we must recognize this duality within ourselves, first. We have both good and bad within our self. At the same time, we must face that where trust is concerned, we do the best we can at figuring out who to trust and how to trust. And we don’t always get it right. If we try again, … and again and again, we can learn from our mistakes – whether it’s ourselves who bring both good and bad, or another person who brings both good and bad.
Because this principle of character is true, no one person is all trustworthy and no one person is all untrustworthy. Therefore, we must recognize that learning about trusting is a learning path only, and never a path of all-knowing who to trust and all-knowing who to not trust.
In our world, now, there are many that want us to buy into their version of the horrors of humanity and their version of the evils of the world, that they are willing to sell to us, with their intending us to follow their instruction on how to save ourselves from “All those others” who they claim “are the evil ones.”
It is very, very easy to sell fear, horror and evil. It is very, very easy to find ourselves overwhelmed, and then believe their claims of the horrors, which they tell us they alone can save us from – when they then tell us, they alone should be trusted.
Even if we are on any type of spiritual learning path, it is easy to be pulled away from the Truth which Christ teaches, because those who sell the story of the evils of others, yell loudly and scream often. They tell us that they alone know what is going on with the evils of the world, and they alone know who is at the center of the evil.
But yet, at the same time, Christ teaches Truth with a soft voice which quiets fear and turns away wrath, which makes us to lie down in green pastures and leads us beside still waters – from the place of loving kindness. We can ask ourselves, is there a stillness or kindness in those that sell their version of horrors and fears?
Christ teaches from patience and from compassion. Does anyone find patience and compassion in the messages meant to further demonize, or warn others to fear the “evil people” which they selectively chose for us?
Christ teaches from forgiveness and mercy. Does anyone find forgiveness and mercy in the writings of those who want us to follow their version of their fear reality and their version of their “secret truth”?
Does anyone find support for mankind’s brotherhood, encouragement for God’s Unending Acceptance and Love, or help with God’s unity and understanding in the writings that tell us that we should be afraid of the people who they tell us to?
If we find no love, no forgiveness, no mercy, no compassion, no patience, no kindness, no brotherhood, no understanding towards others, no support, no courage, no unity with Life and with other human beings, in these writings, or what they tell us, then Christ is not the source of what they offer, nor does He have any connection with it.
They live from triggering adrenaline by their words, selling panic and worry, and marketing fear, for the purpose of bringing harm and abuse, for their own gain. They will sell their panic, worry and fear to anyone who tends to have little interest in seeking God’s Truth, or who does not care about what Christ has to offer. They will sell themselves as “savior”, and claim only they have “truth”.
The Edgar Cayce readings will always tell us that there is good in the worst of us, and bad in the best of us. This reality helps us to see that all of us are equal in our struggles and challenges of being human, and also equal in the eyes of God, who Loves us without reservation – and without even thinking twice about it – all of us equally regardless of how many times we stumble and how great we create a mess in the world.
Eventually, we come to realize that we have the freewill to choose which we act on – which we decide to bring into the world – the good or the bad, the selfish or the unselfish. We then step forth in doing the best we can with bringing forth our choices.
In the same way, we have freewill to choose what to bring into the world with regards to: fear or love. The Light offers kindness, compassion, encouragement, forgiveness, mercy – this FRUIT from the TREE of Christ’s teachings of love, kindness, compassion, forgiveness, brotherhood, courage, faith and the like. Those who peddle fear offer fruit from the tree of fear: separation, isolation, hatred, anger, abuse, harm, confusion, darkness and despair – for these are what grow from the seeds of the fear being sold.
What do we then choose to give to others? What do we then choose to give to those we love? From what tree do we choose to give fruit? There are many of us souls who will choose – of our own freewill – fear and all that grows from this fear. There are many of us souls who will choose – of our own freewill – love and all that grows from love. But, we cannot choose both at the same time. We cannot choose both good and bad at the same time.
We choose day or we choose night. We choose light or we choose the dark. And we choose LIFE or we choose DEATH. We choose Love or we choose fear. But, we choose. And, we choose every single day. And we choose every single hour and minute and second.
We are called to learn, as best we can, what Christ offers. We are called further to try to put the seeds of the Tree of Love within our hearts, so that we can bring forth the fruit which is kindness, compassion, patience, courage, faith, forgiveness, brotherhood, courage and more. If we don’t know what Christ offers, we need only ask Christ directly, “Lord, what do you offer me – me, who is your brother and sister?”
Many, many of us have meditated or do meditate. Now, using one’s imagination, and keeping an open mind, what can we imagine would be the transformation which happens within us, (just think about it for a moment), if we meditated for 1 million years. Keep an open mind here, and allow yourself to entertain the thought about this —-
—- if we meditated for 1 million years.
Imagine the level of transformation which we might be in or become aware of, or join with.
Again, think of the transformation of 1 million years meditating.
Now, tell me how important is it to be a part of the conflict going on in the United States? or in the world?
Which would you prefer to experience? The conflict with other’s opinions and points of view during this time period? during everyone’s learning paths?
…. or to allow oneself to be a part of a transformation process which has us transform our existence in this Earth, and our existences in whichever levels of life expand into greater than just this Earth?
Would you be surprised to come to learn that the path for, and of this transformation – helped by meditation – is our destiny?
We are on this 1 million year path of meditation and transformation, (and longer yet.)
We are taking steps on this path each and every day.
And yes, we can get off the path at any time, and join in on the conflicts in the world, in the US, in our own state, in our own family….
And sometimes, we do…
And we can get back on our path of our 1 million years meditation – back to feeling the peace, joy and wonder that comes when we return to our path.
And when we are on our path of meditating for 1 million years, we can say to our struggling brothers and sisters, “God bless you.” …
… and feel how much we really mean it in our hearts, in our minds, and in our souls, … when we say it.
So, join me in saying it to all life in this world and beyond ….
