Everything We See

More often than not, we don’t recognize God when God is present. We don’t know what to look for. We don’t know when to look. We don’t know how to recognize God. This is because we just don’t know that much about God. We can read that God is Infinite, or God is everywhere, or God is everything, but we just don’t see how this can be, and so we don’t see God. Jesus said, “Many will see and then believe, but blessed are they who don’t see, yet still believe.” The Edgar Cayce readings say that “Faith is the belief in things unseen.” It is also believing in things not understood in our minds and paradigms.

If we just don’t yet see God, then perhaps all we can try for is to believe that everything we see is God. We don’t yet have to understand it, but we can still believe it. After all, there are many things we don’t understand, but we still believe them. And there are many things that we see.

Everything we see is God. Now, that’s quite a thought, and quite a belief. Everything we see is God. Take a look around. Everything we see is God. There’s something about this belief that feels good. Everything we see is God. Keep your eyes open for now. Everything we see …

… is God.

Try it and see.

You Are Valuable

Each of us is so valuable.  We need others, and others need us.

Each of us is so worth our effort to help, to offer for others, to each one in need.

We are needed, even if we only help one other person.  Our life matters to that one other person.  We are valuable to that other person.

Each of us is so valuable.

Each individual, each person, each one of us – we are valuable.  We may feel forgotten.  We may feel worthless.  We may feel lost to the world, alone, disconnected, and unfriended.

But, the Truth is the opposite.  We are so valuable.

Would that I could give everyone who reads this the ultimate feeling and experience of being loved, by Infinite Love, across all time and across all space – known for who we are, and how we have lived, and yet still love for just being our self, … I would make it so.

But, each of us must choose for ourselves if we’re going to open to this experience or not open to it.

“I stand at the door and knock” – Infinite Love says to us every moment of every second, of every minute, of every day.

This is how close we are to welcoming in Infinite Love – Unending Love – the Love that enlivens us, and gives us life abundantly – to being loved Infinitely and without end.

Each one of us is so Valuable.

Whomever told us that we were worthless, was misguided, and has not yet chosen to be loved by Unending Love.  Whomever believed we are not valuable has never known how truly valuable each of us is.

For so many of us, our suffering is so deep.  Our suffering and sorrows lay deep within us, likely unknown to the people around us.  We may come to think and believe any number of things about ourselves or others, related to this suffering.   We may lose our own awareness of Love, of value, of worth and of others.  We may only experience being alone, having no one in our life who knows us anymore.

But, with every experience of alone-ness any of us go through, others of us are knocking at the door.  With every sorrow and pain any one of us – you – me – may go through, others of us are trying to find you.  We are your family and friends whose names you may not even know.

We are here to help you.

And, we need you, too.

We are your brothers and sisters.  We are your family members, your friends.  We are your parents and your children.

We are also the ones alone and forgotten, and we are the ones who ask for someone to help us, too.

We are the ones who are ready to help you – who know and love you, and know how valuable you are.

We are your friends, because we want to be, not because you have something we want, but because you are you and you are valuable …. and so are we.

We are together.  We need one another.  You are so valuable, because you are.  Even if momentarily forgotten, we are all valuable to each other.  And we try to remind each other of this when we stand at your door and knock.

God Bless you, you valuable friends and family.

Changes to “The Sum of Ourselves” 24-hour retreat

My apologies to everyone.  Because of a mistake in how I worded the retreat’s registration and my not listing a registration deadline, I’m faced with moving the retreat to May 4 – 5, 2019 in order to set up a new registration deadline giving everyone more information and time.

This is official.  The April 6-7th weekend retreat will not happen.  Instead we will meet May 4-5, 2019.  Everything else stays the same except now the mid-priced Health Services rooms will be available (2 single beds).

My previous registration information was misleading.  I had listed Registration from 2:30-3:30 on  April 6th.  This was actually “Check-in” time and not registration.  Registration and sign-up had a deadline of March 6th, and has since passed without anyone knowing of its existence.

I apologize for this mistake and I hope this will not create problems for anyone interested.

We think looking at our past lives is like looking into the distant past. But, our past lives are with us all the time. We lived them. We thought, felt and learned through our own previous times of being a person in the Earth. We walked in our own previous shoes. We spoke our own previous languages.  We sat at our own previous tables.  These past lives are our own, and we can learn from them any time we’re willing by simply scraping underneath the thinnest of surfaces.

Welcome to another 24-hour retreat at Camp Capers in Waring, TX, on *****May 4-5, 2019, which you may be interested in.

  3. Continuity through lifetimes: strong/significant relationships, developed talents, interests etc.

No one will be turned away at the door for not registering beforehand, but IT SURE HELPS IF YOU REGISTER BEFORE, (so we can give Camp Capers office an accurate number of people for whom to prepare rooms and meals.)

For the address and map to Camp Capers, click on any Camp Capers link here.

For anyone wanting to attend Sunday only, and arriving in the morning, then I’ll have registration before breakfast, from 7:45-8am at the office front patio.  If you can’t find me, check in the Dining Hall.

As always, if you wish to pay by check, you can pay by mail, or when you arrive, and it is still a good idea to register beforehand as soon as you know. C.C. needs to prepare many days before for the number of people eating any of the meals.

Thank you for your interest.

Two Views from Every Window

Have you ever noticed that there are many times two sides to every story? Sometimes, there are even more sides. No matter what a person experiences or what relationship difficulties exist, the people involved all have their own side of the story.

Like a boxing match, there are two sides that have opposing views. Which side or view represents the truth? The winning side? Really? Are you sure? Does the truth always win?

In many sports events, there can be two teams and they have opposing intentions. Which team represents the truth? In an argument, which side represents the truth? In an altercation, which side represents the truth? In a court of law, which side represents the truth? The loudest? The angriest? The most insulting and condemning? The sliest? The trickiest?

When Jesus walked, carrying the cross to Golgotha to be killed, the crowds yelled loudly. They angrily shouted insults at Him, condemning Him. They threw things at Him. They used whatever they could – loudness, anger, insults, criticisms, rocks, trash – to make sure they got their views, their anger, their rage, and all their thoughts out. Were they demonstrating the truth because they were loud, angry and condemning? They were united in their condemning Him. Does their being united mean they represented the truth?

There really are two sides to every story, like there are two sides to every coin, two sides to every window, and two very different views from that window’s two sides. Unfortunately, we more often listen to only one side – look through the window at only one view – look at the coin and see only one side without acknowledging the truth of the whole thing. When we do this, and we do it often, we don’t have the whole truth. It’s impossible to have the whole truth. We can go so far to say that we refuse the whole truth.

With only one side of the story, the truth isn’t known. The view then becomes incomplete. The whole truth becomes denied.

Imagine if someone said something about you to others, and that statement hurt you. What if the others hearing it, reacted as if that were the only truth needing to be heard. You knew you had your side of the story, but no one wanted to hear it. They believed what the other person said was the whole truth without your side of the story ever being listened to. What would happen then? Crucifixion. It happens all the time, doesn’t it. How many times are we the ones carrying the hammer and nails?

We can only get the whole truth if we work hard at getting both sides.  We will work hard at getting both sides only if we truly want the whole truth.

“All that we learn about God and the Truth, we will learn from within.  There are no exceptions to this.  Regardless of if or what we hear come from another person or not.  That spirit which is within our own self, gives witness to Truth, and it is this act that is the true act of learning.  Of course, that doesn’t mean we listen.” (The Rainbow Cards, ©, 1999-2015, Jodie Senkyrik)
