In the Light of Day

There are many in the world, right now, that are saying, “I have the truth.  Come to me for the truth.”  We see people saying this in politics, on the internet, social media, television, radio, etc.  Also, right now, there are many in the world that eagerly seek to blame and condemn others, saying “the others are lying”, “media is lying”, “this person is lying”, “those people conspire in bad activities”, “this or that group is corrupt and wicked”.  There are many, right now, in the world who get paid A LOT of money to say just these words.

At the same time, we humans carry fear with us as we live our life.  There is plenty that triggers us to fear.  I won’t list the litany of all the triggers.  Some of us humans even want to trigger fear in others – not always for underhanded reasons, but sometimes to sound an alarm of things that we personally fear.

In dealing with being human, when we’re caught up in words people say and the fears of people, we can forget that as spirit beings living in human bodies, we are not originally of this world.  We can forget that we came from spirit and will return to spirit.  We can forget that we came not to add to fear to the world, but to add to truth, – and not mankind’s truth, but the truth of Spirit.  We came to help share the truth which even Christ worked to bring into this world, and still works to bring into this world – even when Christ’s messages may get misinterpreted, distorted, misunderstood, changed, usurped, refabricated, remade, altered, or even dismissed or rejected.

However, as it turns out, the simpleness of Christ’s message makes it easy to return to His original message:

“Love one another as I have loved you.”

“Love God above all else, and Love your neighbor as yourself.”

“Perfect Love casts out fear.”

“For mankind, it is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.”

Christ, or put another way, the Light and Life of the World does not hide in the shadows of the Internet nor behind anonymity, seeking to be anonymous while condemning selected people, criticizing whomever is chosen as an enemy, attacking people or trying to bring separation and blame. Christ teaches in the light of day, in simple ways, out in the open, with words that demonstrate Love, again, and that Love is real.

But, not everyone wants this.

Christ speaks of unity and brotherhood of all people and all life. Christ speaks of the Father/Mother/God’s Infinite and unending forgiveness, mercy and Love. He speaks of the joy God feels when someone, who regularly chooses acting without love, living in shadows and hiding behind anonymity, chooses instead to seek the Healing of Loving Kindness.

But not everyone wants this.

The Good Friend

All things from Christ come from Love and come with Love.  This is why all things from Christ heal individual hearts and shared hearts. Everything from the Christ within brings us out from hiding in the shadows – into the light of day where goodwill towards each other becomes real again. Christ/Love gives the best of Life – Love – to all people equally and does not hold back on giving tolerance or mercy continuously. Christ tells us that if we choose to condemn others or remove the splinter from another’s eye, then first remove the huge chunks from our own. Christ says, “let he who is without sin cast the first stone.” Then says, “Neither do I condemn you.”

There are many, many, many that choose condemning anyone they can think of or with whom they disagree.  There are many, many, many that choose hiding in the shadows and behind anonymity, again and again.  But, Christ’s message is about Loving one another and not about conspiracies, slander, or blaming.  He knocks at the door to our heart and mind.  He brings healing of our feelings of despair and aloneness.  He offers His hand again to help us show tolerance and understanding in the open, in the light of day for all to see.

At any time, we can choose for ourselves to follow the many, many, many who are generous in their condemnation and judgement towards anyone  that disagrees with them or whom they choose as their enemy. At any time, we can choose for ourselves to follow slandering and throwing volumes of disrespect on anyone who doesn’t side with us.

Verbal abuse and verbal violence are available to anyone who wants abuse and violence to be part of their heart and mind, and in turn, what they offer the world.  Deciding to no longer believe that all people are one people on this Earth – is available to believe and has many that choose to teach this.  Denying that all souls are equal in the Eyes of God, – saying this is the truth – and denying Christ’s words “I will never leave you or forsake you” is available if we seek this to be in what we participate.

***

Christ really does say to us, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”  There are many, many, many that seek to teach us that we are lost and alone unless we follow them only, and hide with them in their condemning of the group of their choosing.  Even we who sincerely seek the Truth of Christ, can become lost, if we don’t yet know that this journey of seeking truth starts with unlocking the door of our own Heart.  While Christ honors His own words, we don’t give the same words back to Him.  For us, we still stumble and fall in our efforts to say back “Christ, I will never leave you nor forsake you.”  For us it is to pick ourselves back up, dust off our clothes and try again, to walk the path of following Him.

Ultimately, we can only ask ourselves in our own heart, in the moment we are still with our own thoughts, “do we seek to throw stones and add to the condemning and judging that many others want? Do we seek to add to the conflict which many, many, many others choose?  Do those who we align with – seek to cast the first stone, …. the second stone, … and more stones after that…

… or does that which we seek offer forgiveness and mercy while we let go of our stones of judgement and condemning? Does that which we seek point to how we can heal our own hearts and relationships, then point to how we can feel a sameness even with those who differ from us?

Better choices are available to us.  Better solutions are available to us.  Better hearts are available to us.  Greater love is available to us, for us, in us and to heal us.

Love is real.  Christ is real.  And these are easy to say “no” to.  Yet, when better choices are available, and instead we say, “Yes” – instead seeking within ourselves – to unlock the door, open it, and say, “Lord, you are welcome within my heart and mind.  Teach me the Truth of You.  Show me the way of Loving,” Christ will not hold back and will never hide from us.  Christ will not hide behind anonymity.  Christ will not speak with slander or of conspiracies.

The Christ, who exists within our own Self, ready to be expressed to ourselves and others, will show us the Joy of the Infinite One in helping us to recognize that Oneness with others is the path of the Infinite Consciousness of Love.  Christ will show us that nothing separates us from the brotherhood of life except what is in our own mind and our own heart towards others.  Christ teaches us that there is no blame of ourselves and others that cannot be forgiven.  Even today, He speaks of acceptance, tolerance and Infinite opportunities through Infinite Patience, which are available to us in any and every moment in which we can unlock the door to the Light and say, “God, are you there?  Please, come in.  Please, help me.  Help us.  Teach me of you.  Teach me of Love.
Lord, please, teach me the Truth.”

God bless us, Everyone.

This one speaks for God.” (The Rainbow Cards, ©, 2008-2021, by Jodie Senkyrik)
