Reader Questions about Earth Changes, Weather, etc.

1. My questions: The disasters in Aceh and Japan as well as Haiti and the Caribbean seem to have a depopulating factor. Will the population of the US decrease due to this economic crisis? I don’t necessarily mean that people will die, but will they migrate from the US (much like Puerto Ricans are leaving the PR)? If so, where will they go? Does this have anything to do with the eclipses that could be seen across America?

[A second look at this question with more details:]
With regards to the population – No, I still don’t see a decrease in the population in the next few years or going into the 2020’s. I’m not seeing a drastic drop in population world wide, at all. Quite the opposite. However, I see a lessening of the rate of increase in the mid-2020’s. I see this as a result of economic struggles world wide, as well as in the US. As economic times get better in the 2030’s, I see the rate of increase in population going up. I see population rising to about 8.9 billion by the mid- to late- 2040’s. 2050’s and 2060’s could potentially cross the 9-9.5 billion count. And yes, this will be a great strain on resources, if it happens.

While the disasters in the areas you mention do affect the local population and are readily in the news and can be seen on the internet, the percentage drop is only in a small time period.

The migrations of peoples in the world over the next 10 years, will mostly be seen in the middle east and Mediterranean areas – almost exactly as it is today. Some still from South America coming into North America. Migrations around the world will happen but be at a relatively unchanged rate compared to today. Mostly war and natural disasters will be the motivating factor. Searching for work is next and the overall economy is after that.

With regards to the eclipses affecting these factors, I see the effects of the eclipses, during the times before/after the eclipses, being to inhibit energy which stimulates movement and change. [An eclipse inhibits the sun’s energy. The sun’s energy stimulates movement and change.]

2. Is this climate time period similar to the ‘dust bowl days’ of the Great Depression? Will we see similar consequences with cold as we did with dust during this 11 year period? There is also a theory that the earth is expanding – what was once the Pangea has broken apart due to the expansion of the earth from the inside out. Is that what we are experiencing now? Is the volcanic activity due to an expansion process that the earth is going through? Do you think that major faults all over the world will begin to shudder – such as the giant and overdue San Andreas fault line? Do you ever see the lower part of California breaking up into islands, like I am told that Edgar Cayce foresaw?

In the arguments over climate change, some can argue that natural weather forces similar to the ones in the 1930’s, and the solar impact, are what is driving the current climate changes. I psychically see the “dust bowl days” during the 1930’s being a culmination of weather patterns of many decades leading up to that time, (even forces beginning to take effect going back to the mid-1700’s). The weather forces then were mostly natural, with some “lesser than today” influence from karmic forces. The impact from human consciousness was not as strong as today.   Human impact on the weather, today, is real.

The extremes in both heat and cold and other weather events are what we have been and will continue to experience. The younger generations will have to carry the full impact of today’s decisions regarding climate change. We have NOT experienced the worst that can happen. If the conflicts around decisions and actions continue, then during the decades ahead, there will be some great/difficult/dangerous/harmful times that the younger generation will have no choice in going through. If people continue as we are now, with regards to lack of major steps taken, in the same way that we are experiencing serious and deadly weather problems now, the next few generations will experience even worse – not “can experience” – “will experience”.

The Pangea effect is evolving continuously and will continue even to the point of creating new continents in future millennia and eons. However, it’s affects are too slow for us to be impacted in a major and noticeable way. An example of this is the volcanic activity in Hawaii. This is a small and slow process measured in human terms. It happens, but does not create new continents in our time.  The Pangea process does influence the magnetic field that surrounds the Earth, but again, we won’t see this process by itself affecting quick change – more like 100 to 1000 years measurable impact with measurements via scientific instruments rather than Earth changes.

The Earthquake activity on the planet now is under what is considered as “normal” forces influencing it, – this includes the increase of activity at this time in history. Included in these manifestations are karmic energy which aligns human and social patterns with that which goes on physically in the Earth. These both will continue. We are in a time where much is happening and “natural” happenings are in line with karmic manifestations.  Supporting this:  remember the journey of the planets around the sun are a natural occurrence, but they still have impacts and influences on people and human patterns of behavior – not causing these human patterns but influencing them. At the same time, human consciousness impacts the natural occurrences, in return.

Finally, I see any potential of land mass changes of significance in the California area happening over several hundred years and being thought of as a natural occurrence. I see it not being in the whole state but in the southern area – Los Angeles/San Diego area down to the midpoint of the Baja Peninsula. I see more changes happening in Florida than California. More happening in the Northeastern coastlines than the Pacific coastline. Over many hundreds of years, I see the Pacific Northwest rising slowly out of the ocean due to the Earth’s “creation of new land” process. Meanwhile the east coast will be losing its shorelines.

Edgar Cayce’s predictions were accurate for him during that day and time, and came with statements saying, in effect, “if all things stay the same, these things will occur.” This meant that if mankind’s spiritual state only stayed the same, and humanity’s life on Earth kept being run by the darker nature of mankind, the energy of the times would fulfill themselves and manifest as Edgar Cayce predicted.

But, mankind had and still has a spiritual awakening in many different arenas on the planet, thus healing much of what Cayce described. While many may see the spiritual awakening which has happened in all the decades since Edgar Cayce predicted these, as being a fad or “Woo-woo”, this path is the source of the increased energy vibrations that has lifted us out of many of the karmic disasters previously destined to manifest.

The increase in meditation, prayer, efforts to change away from humanity’s patterns for war, the continued increase in social awareness which would lead to better goodwill, as well as helping the welfare of all people – these are the practices and influences which bring a Higher level of consciousness and higher vibrations – the vibrations of the Christ Consciousness (Love), which in turn helps to bring healing at many, many different levels of existence for all of life.

Remember, Christ was met with the same resistance and “push-back” that exists today. He was mocked, ridiculed, and eventually killed. But, His involvement and His teachings lived on, and live on through those who sought to, and still seek to help create a better world and better relationships throughout the world for All people and all life.

The same is true of the spiritual awakening that has been happening in our lifetime. No resistance can hold up over time to the evolution of consciousness in this planet. However, this evolution can and will only happen – as Edgar Cayce says – “one hair at a time” – meaning “slowly”, so that all souls can be brought along in this evolutionary process. The physical planet gets included in this evolutionary process, as well.

The Economy in 2018

Are you publishing your predictions for 2018? I live several states away and was unable to attend your 2018 retreat. I am particularly interested in what you are seeing economically for the US in the next few years. Are you seeing any kind of Government crash or will the problems be more in the private sector?… L.B.

I have now published the audio files of the “2018: Looking Ahead and Going Within”. It covers the efforts of enhancing how prayer and meditation can change the future, in addition to many predictions. The files cover the use of prayer and the use of meditation.  These both can help in working to change the future.

For many years, I’ve been seeing a very difficult and dark time coming for the Earth – not just the U.S. alone.  I’ve been seeing 2018 as the year things begin to take the “downward” turn. This is why I offered a retreat and the audio files on how to change the future. I’ve seen prayer and meditation (by multiples of millions of people around the world) help to change the future predicted to one where there is less destruction and economic problems.

Currently, I still see the next 8 years as being the worst of times for the planet – this year, 2018, as the year this starts. I’m seeing 2026 as being the year things begin to climb out of the worst of times – with that climb taking another 8-12 years. Again – this is why I’ve been offering presentations and articles about prayer and meditation – because they are effective in helping the future.  (Also because of the continuation of prayer and meditation – I’m seeing the darkness be less.  This shows our efforts are helping.)

This won’t happen by itself.  There are many factors that will contribute to this – including natural disasters, social and governmental acts, and climate change, among others.

One final point – the future is not a light switch – on or off – and flicked on or off by one prayer. The future is a huge ship that is steered and propelled by the effort of many billions of people. This ship either goes it’s course or through great effort by many people, changes course. 1 person praying and meditating helps.  Joined with others, then 1,000,000 people praying and meditating helps, also. Right now, there are people praying and meditating somewhere in the world in such a way that someone or many someones are praying or meditating all the time 24/7. We can join with them and help at any time.

Hawaii’s Future

For those of you who went through the tremendous missile scare in Hawaii, this is what I’m seeing:

1. I see people feeling much fear and it being in the ethers right now – fear of a missile launch directed at Hawaii potentially being a possibility in the future – a fear which was unconcious for so very many people in Hawaii and the US. This fear has been made conscious through the warning system mistakes. It doesn’t take a psychic to know this, but it is psychic information, also. This is currently a strong fear. Let this also be a time for prayer for the people to find their peace again.

2. I see No missile striking Hawaii in the future. I do see N.K. firing missiles into the air still, upsetting countries around the Pacific Rim. But I SEE – no launch of a missile from N.K. or any country with the intention to destroy Hawaii or parts of Hawaii.

3. I see clear skies for Hawaii for 3 decades. I see then a much bigger than normal eruption of their “constantly erupting” Volcano. I see it being preceded by a dormant few years (volcano) which causes a buildup of pressure. This dormancy will forewarn when the time comes for a greater volcanic eruption.

4. Through prayer and meditation, the energy that would manifest as the Volcanic eruption in 3 decades can be transformed into a higher level of energy manifesting as social eruption caused by the lack of dealing with social problems. (See Venezuela) Again, 3 decades from now – mid-2040’s.

5.  Some, including children, will manifest some levels of PTSD.

How Not to Be An Activist

Christ, Gandhi and Martin Luther King all demonstrated non-violent activism. They lived lives giving themselves human rights, as well as others, and then living those human rights. Others have tried to take these human rights away, but no one can take away our living of our human rights. We can only throw them away ourselves.

We have to remember that no matter what we fix out in the world – the external world – external to what is within our hearts and minds – that if we do not change ourselves, as well – what is within ourselves – healing that which needs healing, facing the challenges of changing our own self – we will create the exact same problematic world that we live in today. With no change within ourselves, there will be no real change in humanity’s creation of the world.  That which is within is reflected externally.

We can war with each other placing ourselves on either side of the battle, with all efforts still being “to go to war”. We simply tell ourselves that we’re righteous and the other side is in the wrong. This is how war is created. Both sides consider themselves righteous. Both sides consider the other side to be ignorant.  When violence is chosen by both sides – violence of deeds and words – there is no difference in the violence either side inflicts upon the other side whether it’s a violence of deeds or a violence of words. If we ignore the need for the inner change within our own self, we are part of the problem, regardless of which side we’re on and regardless of what changes we seek in the external world.

This may not be the popular view of our world. The popular view is addiction to violence and conflict – where conflict and war are acceptable.

Poland – What I See

No one ever mentions Poland in their readings and it seems we r in a great danger with NATO troops and other strange things happening in my country. With our history u can imagine how concerned i am…. could you pls look into it? Justyna

Poland is one of the progressive countries in the world, when comparing it to the major developed nations.  Its small size has allowed it to progress more rapidly than many larger nations.  It is a country worth visiting.

It’s also a “bridge” country.  By that, I mean through many ages, Poland and it’s areas has been in position to bridge two different continental areas.  For this reason, it has been invaded many times – being used as that bridge for other nations to “travel through” on to other horizons.

Because today’s Polish people are on edge watching the political and military maneuverings happen all around them, I am seeing a heightened sense of anxiety and concern.  For good reason, because of WW2 and the Soviet occupation being recent enough for people to remember the very real suffering of those generations very keenly.  Those that suffered were/are family members.  Almost every single Polish person knows of someone who suffered through those times.

But, Poland is in a good position – economy-wise.  As Polish trade policy with Russia stays in place – helping to strengthen the current partnership, as well as hopefully increasing trade with its northern neighbors, this can strengthen Poland’s economic foundations.  I’m seeing Poland not benefiting much from effort to create more trade with Britain, but rather maintaining what is already in place.  (Britain’s focus is elsewhere, right now and won’t see Poland as a place to increase trade until around 2018-2020.)

Poland’s economic foundation will be tested and hurt a little by the military maneuverings, because there will be a slowdown of investment in new trade – because of the uncertainty of what will happen.  Courage with regards to new investments will help Poland.

I’m seeing Poland being a good partner in the European Union and having benefited from being a member.  However, the people in positions of decision should know not to rely only on the EU to provide strength to the Poland’s economy.  There will be times that the EU won’t be able to offer support to strengthen individual nations’ economies.

I am seeing anxiety, but I’m currently not seeing certain danger.  However, Poland’s people – the nation of Poland – will be challenged in the next 5 years – because of the military and political powers around them, wrestling with each other.  Poland’s military will be challenged by outside forces in specific incidences, but not in 2017 and only in a small way in 2018.  While NATO is increasing its visibility, I’m currently not seeing certain disaster.

Poland’s economy within it’s borders is one of the stronger economies, because it has a good foundation.  It may not be breaking economic records when it comes to amazing advances, but its foundation is good with the industries Poland has, I mention this, because tensions will rise on into the 2020’s, not just in Poland, but in all of Europe as well as many other countries all around the world.

My prediction of world economic problems beginning in the year 2018 (mid – 2018 will show the most evidence) is still in place.  Major political happenings will come forth mid-2018 triggering this.  By 2019-2020, the world will be having economic problems.  Poland will struggle too, but as I said, it has a strong foundation, so it will do better than many other countries.

Mary, the mother of Christ, hears the prayers of the Polish people.  Let these prayers grow.

God be with you.

Roads and Deadends

April 8, 2017:  The current road for Syria will lead to Russia next making a military move.  On this road, in 4 -6 years, Syria will be a dead zone.  With prayers, this could be helped some.

****

April 8, 2017: Venezuela will have 5 years of the collapse it is going through now with a few false starts in about 2-3 years.  The energy to manifest which I described in 2015, but which was raised in vibration still had to have a manifestation, but at a slightly higher level of life consciousness, and so it has been manifesting socially and personally.  While the land under their feet has been spared, their social structure has faced destruction because there have been people willing to be channels for the destructive energy.

Venezuela will begin truly and finally growing out of its own great depression and social disaster in the early 2020’s, after some years of up then down, then up then down, again. By 2020-2021, they will slowly but persistently continue to grow out of what is occurring now.  It will take years because it still has 2 more years of collapse of floundering before it even begins to “find its feet again.”  Still, finding its feet only gives an opportunity to have a false start before it collapses again during this decade.

April 8, 2017: I still see the US economy starting to falter and stumble beginning in the 1st half of 2018.  Prognosticators on TV will be giving warning signs of potential economic problems in December, 2017.

April 8, 2017:  Today, I see the upswell and pushback by so many people in the US, which people have been creating since the election – begin to quiet down until mid-2018 when the economic problems begin to show themselves.

April 8, 2017:  Eventually, electric cars will be the dominant fuel/vehicle combination, but it will take several decades.  The automakers won’t focus specifically on these for several decades because there will still be a market for fossil fuel vehicles during those decades.

April 8, 2017: One of the reasons why Space oriented movies / TV shows / stories are so popular is because these stories help bring Extraterrestrial connection into the minds of people, opening up the possibilities for when the day comes that open contact is made.  When open contact begins, there will be less fear.  However, not all of those beings that come from the stars will be respectful or fully trustworthy.  Many of them have their own agendas which serve them, and not all.  Just because they have higher levels of technology doesn’t mean they’re free from selfishness.  Look at how people of high-tech countries today are towards people of lower tech countries.  For the most part, we have a general respect, but there are many that look for ways to exploit those who are unable to stop the exploitation.

April 18, 2017: I do see high potential for another war with North Korea and it beginning soon.  I am not yet seeing nuclear weapons being used.  I see it starting off big but slowing down after about 5-6 months, but lasting several years.  I see it contributing to another great depression worldwide.  War doesn’t come without a great price to pay in very many ways.  Many prayers are needed to avoid this.

April 18, 2017:  Food prices are consistently going to go up.  Gasoline prices at the pump will consistently, but slowly go up.

April 18, 2017:  I’m seeing 10 years of political stalemates in the US and other countries, unless people pray for something better.

April 18, 2017:  In 2018, unless effort is made to change this, the Republican effort to end Obamacare will succeed, but with little or nothing to replace it.  The path will be to dismantle “Obamacare” piece by piece and replace it with little to nothing.

External vs. Internal

Trump has removed Bannon from the NSC, and Nunes has recused himself from the investigation into possible collusion between Trump and Russia. What do you think? N.F.

The question for me isn’t what are those other people doing. The question I ask myself each day is “What can I do today, to help?” Whether it’s pray and meditate, act with respect and kindness towards others, consider my role of supporting groups I believe help, recycling, or doing that one thing that only one person can do, I ask myself, what can I, one person, do today? This is what each individual has the capacity for, because all things that are accomplished are accomplished by individuals doing that which they can do as an individual – with individuals cooperating with each other – to bring about large events.

Sitting in the silence of this question, when put out to the Infinite Consciousness of God, I can get many answers – not all at once – and certainly not coming through the “lightening and thunder.” But, for me, my main answer is be true to myself – to my own heart, what I value, what I care about, what concerns me, what I try to affect by being one person adding my effort to other “one persons”.

We can contribute to the change in the world, in our nation, in our community and in our own family, by changing ourselves, by putting forth effort, and by recognizing that we can affect our own life and maybe the life of someone we contact.  Like the story of the boy who kept throwing beached starfish back in the water, when another person pointed out there were hundreds and thousands out of the water – “My effort matters to the one that is helped by that one act.”

From what I see psychically, everything is happening for a reason, but the big picture and understanding of why it happens this way, is as big as the Universe and all of Evolution through all time. Our prayers and meditation help to bring about higher guidance, and higher levels of healing. The effort we put forth is an act of creation of a new world – one built with what we do as an individual, today.

Finally, with regards to all the destruction that also happens – this too shall pass. Hence why the specific maneuvering in the government and external world doesn’t matter as much as the changes we make happen within our own hearts and minds.

If we want focus on the people in government to help bring about a better world, first, we need to look to the Spirit of God that lives within our own hearts and within our own efforts.  God’s help and guidance is stronger for those we pray for, but God will never take away a soul’s freewill to choose their actions for themselves.  If we see people’s actions as being harmful, then instead of judging, condemning and criticizing, be a person who instead prays for those who are lost in their desire to harm.  Remember, if all we are is a person who condemns and criticizes, but doesn’t pray to do something to help bring real change, then all we are is an empty noisemaker.

Thank you for contributing to this blog.  God bless you.

Psychic Predictions for 2017

Predictions for the United States

In the days immediately after the swearing in ceremony, I see a stepping up of assaults against the North Dakota Standing Rock protesters.  It will last for at least 3 weeks, possibly 5 or more, before those in authority step back to examine other strategies.  Many will seek ways to circumvent the decision by the Corp of Engineers and go ahead with completion of the pipeline.

For the year of 2017, I see the US economy starting off well in the winter and spring months with only a few “not too worrisome” economic ups and downs happening until the summer of 2017.  The general public will not be aware of much of this.  As the US exits summer, greater economic ups and downs will happen.  The economic road in the last few months of 2017 will become rocky indeed.  By the end of 2017, many will be worried because of economic instability starting to be clear and visible to more than just a few.  The year will end with a general feeling of “getting a little beat up.”

Gasoline prices at the pump will slowly begin to climb at the beginning of the year, but will level off through the spring.  By mid-Summer, I see a slight drop before the beginning of Fall when I see gas prices begin to rise again.   I’m seeing a range from $2.40-$2.80/gallon coming back in 2017, although it’s fluctuation could still be all over the place.  What I definitely see is it not staying at the level it is now.  Gasoline prices are going up.

Alternative energies in the US, will not get a lot of government support, and so these companies will call on the people of the US to help the industries grow.  This call from those people in the industry will help generate some popular support, but the general population are also going to be dealing with the beginning of having less spending power.  Those industry leaders who call for finding ways to streamline or lower the costs for people will keep a steady business pace.  Some areas of R&D will slow down because of budget cuts.

2017 will see a continuing growth of personal involvement in grass-roots efforts and activism.  More people will seek ways to become more active in influencing directions the country goes.

For the US, during 2017, I see the potential for some mostly small earthquake activity in Arkansas, related to the fracking in Oklahoma.

The topic of extraterrestrial activity will get attention in the central to Midwest states.

A town in western Florida will have a wonderful event happen.  Somewhere around Quincy, FL area.  I don’t see what it is, but it will make them delighted and happy.

2017 is not the year that affordable health care coverage in the US will be made unavailable for many people.  That’s 2018.

In general, in the US, we will see more extreme weather events in 2017.  Most of it will be during January thru May.

The World

The Pope will travel more in Europe in 2017.  I also see him making a trip to South America and a potential trip into central Africa.  His message will be consistent with his overall message so far.  He is seeking to give hope to people.

In 2017, there will be little progress for peace in the Middle East.  Some cease fire agreements will happen, but eventually they will be broken.

In general, India’s economy will stay at the level it is now.   I don’t see much growth, if at all.  It won’t get worse, though.  India will be waiting to see how other countries go with regards to the new presidency in the US, so they won’t be taking risks in their economic progress.  Ideally, India would do better not waiting to see how the US goes, but step forward to take a lead in economic directions.  This next 50 years is India’s half-century and India has the potential to become a stronger leader than it currently is in the world’s economy.  However, the poverty in India will continue to be a very big problem for people for decades to come.  I’m not seeing progress for the general health care conditions.  But, I do see progress in the decades ahead in the area of education – especially in the 2020’s.

Minor progress will be made in the field of archaeology around the world.  I don’t see any significant discoveries in 2017.  However, there will be further understanding and expansion of those discoveries already made.  Archaeological discoveries in Egypt will not progress that much, or as much as many want.

China’s economy will continue to grow through the 1st half of the year.  It will become rocky during the 2nd half of the year making Chinese government officials nervous.  The Chinese economy in the 2nd half won’t be bad, but it won’t perform as many hoped it would.

In 2017, Japan’s economy will continue to be stable and a good place to invest.

2017 is not the year of direct dangerous activity from Russia.

Canada will be a productive nation in 2017.  I see much good energy and good progress for Canada in 2017.

2017 will be another difficult year for Great Britain.  There will be more governmental upheaval (around April-July) which will cause the country to “stumble” some.  In time, it will stand back up, but it will take more than just 2017.

Australia will have fires to deal with in 2017, with at least one that is massive in size.  The economy in Australia will be strong and stable throughout the year, but I don’t see much growth.  However, I don’t see it going down unless its a very small amount – still strong though.

More to come

Venezuela

Over a year ago, I saw physical disasters hitting Venezuela.  As time passed, and as more prayers for the people were brought forth, the predictions I gave did not happen as I saw.  Instead I was shown that up to the end, there was a need for prayers for them.  I was also shown that the prayers changed the outcome.  Prayers change things.

When prayers come forth, they raise the vibrations of the energy that is ready to manifest in destructive patterns.  The energy and pattern are both changed in the same way a higher pitch tuning fork affects lower pitch sounds.  The higher vibrations blend with and raise the lower vibrations.

When the amount of energy to manifest is so great that it would affect millions of people, it takes the prayers of millions of people to heal the energy.  When we don’t have millions of people praying, we do what work we can, with who we have praying.

With the prayers of those who we have to pray, we can lift the vibration some, and in the case of Venezuela, lift the energy from destroying the physical land to the level of the energy moving through the people and society, instead.  This actually is a healing/evolutionary step forward.  One perspective is that instead of destructive events affecting and possibly killing hundreds of thousands of people, the energy is manifesting through emotions and giving the choice to individuals to face that which is within them (us) through the freewill choices they (we) can make.  The destruction is then a choice instead of physical destruction without choices.

Make no mistake, the energy is strong and the patterns within the energy are triggering WILLING destructive action from within some people’s hearts and minds.  For, one main factor here is not whether it manifests through the Earth or through people, but do we get to have the choice of whether we manifest destruction or not.  It is better if we get to choose, because with souls doing the choosing, there are many who choose to heal that which is within their hearts and minds instead of it being forced upon all people.

Souls will always be given freewill.  With this freewill, we can do many things to help healing.  Prayer being one thing.  We can also bring forth many things to enact destruction.  Rage and hatred being two of those things.

Venezuela will find peace again, after much time, suffering and  effort (and prayers) – just like New York City and the U.S. did after the WTC attack, as well as New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.  Healing comes from effort to bring forth healing.  There was suffering from all these events, and there is suffering going on in Venezuela, too.

Always when we bring God into the mix of things – through prayers, meditations, kindness, mercy, love, openness, etc – there will be a raising of the vibrations and healing will occur according to the strength of the souls working for this healing.

We are always given a choice.  Through prayer, and that listed above, we have the choice to answer what He said, “As I love you, love each other.”

We can determine our life and change our future by the choices we make.

Render Unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s

In the US, this year, we’re having elections all over the place. Primaries and General Elections

Whether we feel inspired or discouraged, the main issue isn’t whether we’re feeling inspired or discouraged.  As people who care about the world we live in and hope to find ways to help, the real issue becomes whether we’re going to do what we can to help.  The real issue is whether we’re willing to try with what we have.

The ballot box is one way of trying.  Even if we don’t see many good and wonderful options in that ballot box – the issue becomes whether we’re willing to try to do what we can with what we have – or in this case – with who we have.

When we go into the ballot box, we’re not just saying “my vote counts”. We’re also saying, “I matter” – “I count” We’re saying I am one person and I matter in this world, in this nation, in this state, in this county and in this community. I matter. I touch this world. I am here.  I am alive.  I matter.

Granted, We may not be saying this aloud to anyone.  More often, we don’t even realize we’re saying it within our own self. But, we are.

If we believe that as individuals we can have value by being alive, then we count as an individual alive in our world, right now.

Some may ask me, “Jodie, if you know the future or know who is going to win, why do you vote?” My answer is always – because my opinions, my thoughts, my ideas, my feelings have value – maybe not to “you”, but they do to me. And I’m going to express them.  I matter and all of that which is within me matters.  The other answer is that peoples’ freewill choices can change.

Someone once asked me who I was voting for and I told him. He said I was throwing my vote away, because that person couldn’t possibly win. But, I voted for the person who I WANTED to win, not for who I thought could beat the other person. I voted for who I wanted in the office – not for who I thought had a chance to win against the other person.

To me, I wasn’t throwing my vote away, because I voted for the person I wanted to hold the office. Others have the strategy of voting against “the other person”, whomever it may be that could beat “the other person”.  I wonder how many people don’t vote for who they want to hold the office only because they don’t think this person could win. Instead, they vote for someone else because they vote against the other person – thinking this person could have a chance to win. This type of vote is common and it’s focus is – voting against a person, rather than voting for a person. They vote for who can prevent someone else from winning.

We all vote the way we want.

Final thoughts:  John Adams once wrote (paraphrasing here) “Either wise men will come forward to run for public office, or others will.”

I add this:  “Render unto Caeser that which is Caeser’s” also means contributing in our own way to being a part of the government system that we have accepted in our nation.   When wise men and women don’t come forward to run, we are left with those others that do run and get elected.  Being part of the citizenry, we still matter.  Our vote still matters even when we are called to do the best we can with who we have – those that run.

********

PS.  Someone else (I don’t remember who) mentioned a comment that (paraphrasing again) “when the younger generations [or any of us for that matter] don’t get involved, don’t run for office or don’t vote, this becomes a statement saying to the world, ‘we want rich, white old men determining the direction this country should be going’ [and all it’s policies.]” Obviously that’s a lot of generalized negative opinions, but it is a noticeable comment, nonetheless.

Psychic Predictions for 2016

Because I’ve been so busy and haven’t had any opportunities – that’s why I haven’t gotten my 2016 predictions up yet.

Overview

I don’t see ***a lot*** of change happening on a Global scale comparing 2015 to 2016.  By this I mean, I don’t see many major events making large changes from what we have in 2015.  A few – but not many.

What I do see for 2016 more often is a continuation of that which has already been brought forth in 2015.

The Economy

In general, the World’s economy will overall stay steady as she goes.  The economy at the beginning of 2016 will pretty much be where we are at the end of 2016.  However, there will be some economic problems or scares related to Europe, up and down, but ending at a stable place at the end of 2016.

India’s economy is still slowly growing and I see it continue to grow in 2016.  China’s economy, too, will grow, but not as strong as India.   Although, we won’t get any word of it, the country with the initials, NK – I see their economy getting worse.  Sad indeed.  The citizens there will suffer.  The citizens of NK need our prayers, as they always have.  The leader(s) don’t see a need to do anything about it.

Russia’s economy will fluctuate some because of their ties with Europe and Asia both.  They’re invested in the countries around them, as well as their own.  Some of their “investments” in other countries will bring bad results.

For the most part, except for the continued warring, the economies of the Middle East are stable, because they’re based on the sale of oil in the regions.  Moving away from oil in any way will trigger some fluctuation, but in 2016 I don’t see any major disasters for any countries based on oil.

The US economy will continue as is it in 2015.  At the end of Spring, 2016, I see an announcement from Washington that will help boost the economy more, even.

A Presidential Year in the US

As of December 29, 2015, a total of 1,458 candidates had filed a Statement of Candidacy with the Federal Election Commission. No, that’s not a typo.  1,458.  That’s the total of all party candidates, independent. write-in, and non-affiliated candidates.  Some of these were “meant as jokes”, but the majority are real people.  There will not be 1,458 names on the ballots, because not all candidates register or meet the requirements to be on the ballots in all states.

As we get closer to the November, 2016 elections, we will see more and more what we can term as -“bizarre behavior” in our government officials.  It’s hard to describe what it will be, but that word – “bizarre” – will be used by many.

What I see is that the diversity of opinions and beliefs in the U.S. can do nothing but remain the status quo.  I’m seeing no success by any candidate in unifying the country.  Every person who has their own opinions and beliefs thinks they’re opinions are right and the other people need to wake up to it.  With this way of thinking, there is no middle ground where people are willing to come together.

I see extremism in American politics being the theme of the November, 2016 campaign trail.

US

The economy for the US will stay stable and doing well.  The gasoline prices will remain at a lower level, but look for them starting to inch up around the end of the summer.  I’m seeing a “flash” of an average price around $2.25 being the high by the end of the year.  This will be an average with some areas of the nation being only slightly higher.  What I’m also seeing is how volatile this price is – moved by human consciousness which moves like flocks of birds in the sky.

I’m seeing several medical breakthroughs announced in 2016.  These will get little press time.  What is getting press will be several more mass shootings happening sometime around May.  Prayers can help to curb, minimize and even stop some of these shootings.

Overall, 2016 won’t be a “great” year for the Midwest large-scale farming or the US car industry.  Although starting strong throughout the spring, midsummer will bring downward trends and struggles.

I see the immigration issue in the US as being a mud wrestling pit.  There is no clarity and cleanliness to this issue.  The politics of this issue will increase the separation of the divided camps.  I see no worthwhile progress, just running for office dictating what is said and done.  Congress will have another year of passing a low amount of legislation.

The economy will be good in general and overall.  Food prices won’t increase much.  Local farms will continue to serve their local customers.  The drought will hit somewhat, but not as bad as in the past (in general.  Different states will have different levels of it hitting.)

Africa

I see Africa struggling with similar issues as 2015.  I see areas where government officials ignore the needs of the citizens in need, illnesses and diseases getting a toe hold.

I also see other nations reaching out to help African nations and this will keep Africa’s problems from getting too much worse – it won’t remove or solve the problems, but it will help it from getting much worse.  A few areas will have serious problems.

Europe

Europe’s nation-cooperation will become more a stormy struggle and will require a great deal of hard work.  Some of that hard work will come in 2016.  The Syrian refugee issues will still be a major issue through the 1st half of 2016.  The hugely vast majority of refugees will come to be seen as good citizens in the years ahead.  But, it will also be years before the stigma is worn away.

The Middle East

I see an optimistic announcement coming from Washington sometime near the end of spring to mid-summer that a breakthrough has come in negotiations for better cooperation and acceptance among nations in the Middle East.  This will be an uneasy breakthrough – and will come from a “compromise” – the definition of this compromise being “when both sides are equally dissatisfied with the results.”

Australia

Australia’s economy will not gain but will not lose much either.  It is relatively active, but won’t increase, even with the incentives brought in.  The problem is the vast amount of foreign investments are going to wait and see what happens, rather than take an aggressive or optimistic approach for 2016.  On the plus side, the economy won’t lose that much because of it.  Were foreign investments to take a more aggressive approach in vast numbers, Australia’s economy would grow.

Meanwhile, the drought will continue through 2016, as well.  I see more potential for fires.  Even with this happening, I see Sydney continuing in positive and growing ways.  The energy of the city will be more celebratory than discouraging.

South America

They will continue with some major earthquakes in the same old areas – mostly western S.A.  Mudslides will accompany the earthquakes.  The differences between 2015 and 2016 in so many areas of comment will be almost unnoticeable, except in Southwest S.A. which has a potential large destructive event which would be reported in world news.  Prayers for this area will bring the destruction down to a small event – hardly worth mentioning and therefore not by news agencies.

The Pope

The Pope will be more active in the 1st half of 2016, continuing to be in the public eye, but will stay more close to Rome in the 2nd half with much less visibility and press.  His speeches will focus mostly on the poor, needy and suffering people in the world – some about the refugees.  His messages will carry some sternness towards world leaders for the recalcitrance towards compassion and helpfulness of many nations’ leaders.

Natural Disasters

While the world will continue to experience natural disasters, I’m not seeing a hugely world event in 2016.  The 2nd of 3 events I saw for August, 2015 has been broken up into smaller, better handled events over a number of areas, including what I think is deep water earthquakes off the coast of N.W Africa.   If this does happen as I’m seeing it, it will be in the same area near where the southern tip of Atlantis existed over 12,000 to 200,000 years ago.

In General

Because of the lower fuel costs, there will be less incentives for automakers to proceed with more efficient vehicle production.  However, the research into electric vehicles will continue – especially in Japan.  In the years ahead, the progress made in Japan, in the electric vehicle batteries will lead the industry, while American manufacturers will do more observing than research.  The Tesla company will have some improvements, but Japan’s research is still ahead.  Japan’s intention is to move the auto industry further into the electric vehicle direction by 2020.  They see the China market – with it’s current pollution problems – and envision Japan’s cars as being a solution for China’s problems along that line.  This is in actuality a positive move and will put them ahead of the game again, leaving the American manufacturers playing catch-up in electric vehicles as a solution.  The growing China economy and growing spending power, plus China’s growing numbers of younger car buyers will be very open to electric vehicles.  There will be a push for this to happen in 2019 and 2020, but will lessen going into 2021-2023.  The focus during 21-23 will be on trying to come up with the next generation of technology for electric cars.

At the same time, during these years gas powered vehicles will still have the dominate share of the market.  Unfortunately, for American car manufacturers, they are looking to much to the present and past, while Japan’s are looking more to the future.

Medicine and Medical Care

We won’t see much change over all from 2015 to 2016.  A few unmentioned breakthroughs in medicine will be announced in a few medical journals.  The controversies with vaccines will continue with the same arguments happening on both sides, but little pursuit to solidify any deeper insight or understanding of vaccines and autism.  If more medical research were to happen in the field, more would be revealed that hasn’t been understood before.  Currently, the status quo is pursued by pharmaceutical industries and the medical community (which doesn’t have research to say anything else.)  The opposition to vaccines won’t go away soon, and may get louder until the medical community starts asking more questions about what is possible with vaccines and autism.  Research is happening, but only in small pockets and effort is made more to ignore it.

Update:  A New Energy

A new type of energy which I’ve been seeing coming into our lives within the next few decades is being delayed.  The person I foresaw as spearheading the research is taking a longer approach in his research and therefore could add another 7-8 years before he finally develops his theories.  The delay may only move the completion of the research into working models from 2045 or so, to 2050-2052.  This also will change the timeline for the world’s beginning to make welcome contact with extraterrestrials, who, more than anything else, are waiting for humans to develop our own technologies to help the planet – technologies in energy that will move us away from polluting, non-sustainable energy sources.

Food

The Spring of 2016 will see a bountiful harvest of local producing small farms.  The weather from 2015-2016 will help bring water to the farms.  Even though flooded, many areas will benefit from the water for food crops.  As mentioned earlier, the large-scale farming operations will have trouble from the same weather.  The small farms can recover faster.

2017 is different.

How to Pray for Refugees

This is one of the more difficult posts to write.  Not because of any hesitation, but because of what the topic is about.

There is a better way to pray than how some of us are praying, so far.

About Refugees, the debate rages on and as we all know, many are enraged.  We Americans, like others in our world, are people who pray, but how?  On the whole, we haven’t been starting at a good spot.  There are too many people praying “God bless America first before everyone else, if ever anyone else at all.”  There are some praying, “God, take away the freewill of others, or turn them into [people that we are not afraid.]”  There was a movie some years back with a character running for President who’s slogan was “God bless America and no one else.”

Unfortunately, real life seems to be imitating cinema art.  This is no longer a movie line, but is closer to becoming a reality of how some pray, if not already here.

These are common prayers, coming from people tired, frightened, and in pain.  Yet, are these the prayers that God asks us to offer for anyone going through disasters or horrors?

Whatever and whenever we pray for someone else, we are saying the exact same prayer for ourselves without realizing it.  What we pray for others, we are praying for ourselves.  God sees us as all in this together, equally.  What is available to one person from God, is available to all.  What is prayed for one person, is prayed for all people, without us always aware of this.

Consequently, we might consider a better way to pray than the examples above.

DIFFERENCES

We easily see the differences in our American lives and those in other nations.  We see the differences in our nationalities, our religions, our ways of life, our skin color and many other areas.  From these differences, it is easy to take on the “Us vs. Them” state of mind.  Even when there are also many similarities.

But, other options are available.  There are possibilities in the way that we can help them with our prayers.  These possibilities come from reducing our similarities down to that one common quality which we humans all share.  We only need to distill down to that one thing which ties people together, which no one can dispute and which both the “us” and the “them” share in common.

Human suffering.

Individually in our lives, and as a collective, we, Americans, know human suffering.  We know real pain and real sorrow felt deep within us.  We know fear of the coming of even more suffering, pain and sorrow.  In truth, there is no human being on the planet that doesn’t know human suffering in some form within each  individual’s self (and what it is – is known only to God.)

If we distill our prayers down to what we can pray for those suffering – we can then pray very real and helpful prayers that God asks from us.  These prayers:

“God, please help all who suffer.”

“God, please help all who are under great pain and great sorrow.”

“God, please help all of us who have lost someone we love through violence or through any means.”

“God, all of us need Your help and only You know the true and real help that each one of us needs.  Please, help in whatever ways we need.”

“God, please, help all life.”

“God, please, do not limit Your help by our beliefs, our thoughts and our feelings.”

Thank you and Amen.

A few of the many helpful prayers that have changed things through the Ages.

God, help the Hebrews under the thumbs of Egypt’s Pharaoh.

God, help slavery end for black people.

God, help stop the massacring  of Indians.

God, help stop the murders of Jewish people, and all other people at the hands of the Nazis.

God, help stop the killing of people in Rwanda.

God, help the people under Soviet Communist oppression.

God, help end Apartheid and the suffering with it.

Prayers that are still needed.

God, please help people find peace both within and without.

God, please help heal all people, everywhere.

God, please, help.

God, give us wisdom to know better.  God, give us patience so we don’t react from panic and fear.  God, give us kindness in our hearts.  Thank you for these.  God give us the willingness to put these to use with each person in our lives.

World Weather Predictions

Because weather is such an important topic to so many places on the whole Earth, I’ll add what I see with regards to different areas.

Australia

Australia has been going through a tremendous drought.  I still see 2.5 more years of drought happening, but after those 2.5 years, the drought will diminish step by step from then on. So, in 2018, I see the drought taking the other turn and begin the process of lessening.  While 2 more years of drought is a problem, I do see its end.  Australia is going into its Summer temperatures right now and this year will see some rain associated with at least 1  major storm.  Look for the storm to not hit Australia directly.  This means there won’t be a lot of rain, but there will be some.

Europe

I see a general direction of the same weather patterns which Europe has had for the last 4 years.  I don’t see a lot of fluctuation or dramatic changes.  Climate Change is real and the weather patterns of the last 4-5 years are to be considered the new normal.  The nearest time period I see any dramatic change will be 2018 when I see Europe having an extremely mild winter with 2019 being the pendulum swinging back the other way.  This is far off in the future, but gives the indication that the weather patterns Europe has had recently are going to continue.

As a whole, expect lots of rain over the next 18-24 months.  More than what has been “normal” in decades past.

South Africa

This is one area where the dramatic weather extremes are going to be felt less.  I’m still seeing some extreme weather – with regards to higher than average temperatures, but not beating up the area, like is happening in Australia.  I see the extremes in weather being related to temperatures rather than being extreme storms.  I see a severe mosquito (swarming) problem coming for South Africa – worse that before.  This is related to the weather somewhat.

India

As a whole, the Climate change effect for India’s weather will be a longer rainy season.  While I see the level of intensity of the storms will be near the same level as compared to decades past, the length of the rain season will be longer and come earlier.  This does mean that there will be significant flooding in cities as well as rural areas.  India will face some disasters related to flooding.  Disease and insects will become a problem because of the flooding.  Clean drinking water will be part of the challenge for people during the floods, and this should not be a surprise.

*******

What Can I Do?

There really are very specific things we can each do when seeking how to respond to all the events  happening on the planet Earth, now.

1. Pray – when we start our efforts with the seeking of a greater communication and connection with the source of wisdom, intelligence, compassion, heart, understanding, patience, loving kindness, mercy and brotherhood – God – then we have a greater chance that our efforts will be healing, helpful, will build rather than tear down, will unite rather than create schisms, and will bring about a real and lasting result.

2. Meditate – when we meditate on the highest spiritual ideals within ourselves – Loving kindness, Peace for souls, cooperation, etc., this reconnects us to our own better parts of ourselves. This also helps to raise the consciousness level available in the world, especially when millions (and there are millions) of others are also praying and meditating for the higher level expressions of Mankind’s presence in this planet.

3. Work on myself, so that I’m not reacting automatically adding to the polarization, anger, blanket accusations, prejudicial statements and hate-filled rhetoric.  Acting responsibly is the ability to respond from a place better than that place where the problem was created.  This doesn’t happen automatically, though.

4. Join with others – when we join others with like hearts and minds, our efforts expand and become stronger in exponential ways. “Where two or more are gathered in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20.  Joining with others strengthens our sense of belonging to a community, it strengthens our own resolve to keep on keeping on, and it strengthens the community as a whole.

Joining with others can also help us feel that we’re not alone in having feelings of great concern for dangerous issues and that we don’t have to face these challenges alone.

5. Pray again.
