“Hatred is Not Justice”

(The title is a quote from the book, “Nosso Lar” by Francisco Cândido Xavier.  It is translated from Portuguese to English in the book, “Astral City”. )

There are many people in the world right now, who currently say that their hatred leads them to bring justice.  We see and hear many people all over the world saying that their hatred brings justice.  But, all sane people know that their saying this, doesn’t make it true.  Yet, frustratingly, like the others, all of us still have times when we grasp hold of the idea thinking that with our hatred, we can enact justice.

But, hatred is not justice.  When we catch ourselves and step back – stepping back from our own hatred, which we can do, albeit asking God’s help to do this – we can acknowledge that the words of the title statement are true words.

In the moments of hatred rising, why do we take hold of the idea that hatred might bring justice?  More often, it is because of our suffering.  We may believe that to be rid of the pain of hatred as well as the suffering of others or our own being attacked by our human brothers and sisters, we must act out of hatred in return, calling it justice.

But, hatred is not justice.  God’s gift to us is not hatred.  In that vein, we may wonder, ‘then what do we do with criminals and terrorist’s?’

There are many things we can do.  We start with God.  Our prayers, our meditations, our acts from the heart – all of these are where we start.  In addition, as the human race, throughout human history, we also have progressed on a path of developing laws designed to govern behavior.  This evolutionary path is not finished.  We are not at the end of evolving lawfully or socially.   Our efforts to walk a higher road has led humans to strive to design laws and create consequences to breaking those laws according to ever higher principles of honest justice.

For us as individuals, we can take a look at our self.  We can choose to let the statement live in our own behaviors and choices. This can help us as individuals to choose a different behavior towards the people in our lives and the people who we only know about on TV.  We can choose to hold onto the principle that hatred is not justice, and then look for ways to make it real in our day-to-day lives, activities and relationships.

When we choose to remember that hatred is not justice, we can also act from this awareness towards those who think that their hatred is their source of justice.  When we act from hatred, we don’t always realize that our hatred is the same as others’ hatred.  We may deny our hatred, and they do, too.  We may justify our hatred, but so do they.  In the end, where is the difference in hatreds?

There are too many examples in the news, every day, of when people act from the belief that their hatred is different – their hatred is righteous – their hatred is justified – their hatred is a gift from God.  No one religion holds the monopoly on these acts of hatred – every philosophy and religion has people who have acted believing hatred (whether in large ways or small ways) is their way to justice.

But, hatred is not justice.  We will evolve beyond hatred, learning this, if we remember one day at a time, that justice does exist, even though we may never, in our own minds and our own paradigms, understand fully how it could be.  We can evolve beyond hatred, with God’s help.  We can evolve beyond hatred through our prayers, our meditations, one day at a time, through our efforts on each day that we remember God and God’s Infinite and unending Love for each of us.

God will never give up on teaching us – “hatred is not justice” – that God is the Justice we seek, in addition to God being Infinite Understanding, Infinite Patience, Infinite Kindness, Infinite Love, Infinite Forgiveness, Infinite Peace, Infinite Mercy and more.

These are God’s true gifts to us.

Roads and Deadends

April 8, 2017:  The current road for Syria will lead to Russia next making a military move.  On this road, in 4 -6 years, Syria will be a dead zone.  With prayers, this could be helped some.

****

April 8, 2017: Venezuela will have 5 years of the collapse it is going through now with a few false starts in about 2-3 years.  The energy to manifest which I described in 2015, but which was raised in vibration still had to have a manifestation, but at a slightly higher level of life consciousness, and so it has been manifesting socially and personally.  While the land under their feet has been spared, their social structure has faced destruction because there have been people willing to be channels for the destructive energy.

Venezuela will begin truly and finally growing out of its own great depression and social disaster in the early 2020’s, after some years of up then down, then up then down, again. By 2020-2021, they will slowly but persistently continue to grow out of what is occurring now.  It will take years because it still has 2 more years of collapse of floundering before it even begins to “find its feet again.”  Still, finding its feet only gives an opportunity to have a false start before it collapses again during this decade.

April 8, 2017: I still see the US economy starting to falter and stumble beginning in the 1st half of 2018.  Prognosticators on TV will be giving warning signs of potential economic problems in December, 2017.

April 8, 2017:  Today, I see the upswell and pushback by so many people in the US, which people have been creating since the election – begin to quiet down until mid-2018 when the economic problems begin to show themselves.

April 8, 2017:  Eventually, electric cars will be the dominant fuel/vehicle combination, but it will take several decades.  The automakers won’t focus specifically on these for several decades because there will still be a market for fossil fuel vehicles during those decades.

April 8, 2017: One of the reasons why Space oriented movies / TV shows / stories are so popular is because these stories help bring Extraterrestrial connection into the minds of people, opening up the possibilities for when the day comes that open contact is made.  When open contact begins, there will be less fear.  However, not all of those beings that come from the stars will be respectful or fully trustworthy.  Many of them have their own agendas which serve them, and not all.  Just because they have higher levels of technology doesn’t mean they’re free from selfishness.  Look at how people of high-tech countries today are towards people of lower tech countries.  For the most part, we have a general respect, but there are many that look for ways to exploit those who are unable to stop the exploitation.

April 18, 2017: I do see high potential for another war with North Korea and it beginning soon.  I am not yet seeing nuclear weapons being used.  I see it starting off big but slowing down after about 5-6 months, but lasting several years.  I see it contributing to another great depression worldwide.  War doesn’t come without a great price to pay in very many ways.  Many prayers are needed to avoid this.

April 18, 2017:  Food prices are consistently going to go up.  Gasoline prices at the pump will consistently, but slowly go up.

April 18, 2017:  I’m seeing 10 years of political stalemates in the US and other countries, unless people pray for something better.

April 18, 2017:  In 2018, unless effort is made to change this, the Republican effort to end Obamacare will succeed, but with little or nothing to replace it.  The path will be to dismantle “Obamacare” piece by piece and replace it with little to nothing.

External vs. Internal

Trump has removed Bannon from the NSC, and Nunes has recused himself from the investigation into possible collusion between Trump and Russia. What do you think? N.F.

The question for me isn’t what are those other people doing. The question I ask myself each day is “What can I do today, to help?” Whether it’s pray and meditate, act with respect and kindness towards others, consider my role of supporting groups I believe help, recycling, or doing that one thing that only one person can do, I ask myself, what can I, one person, do today? This is what each individual has the capacity for, because all things that are accomplished are accomplished by individuals doing that which they can do as an individual – with individuals cooperating with each other – to bring about large events.

Sitting in the silence of this question, when put out to the Infinite Consciousness of God, I can get many answers – not all at once – and certainly not coming through the “lightening and thunder.” But, for me, my main answer is be true to myself – to my own heart, what I value, what I care about, what concerns me, what I try to affect by being one person adding my effort to other “one persons”.

We can contribute to the change in the world, in our nation, in our community and in our own family, by changing ourselves, by putting forth effort, and by recognizing that we can affect our own life and maybe the life of someone we contact.  Like the story of the boy who kept throwing beached starfish back in the water, when another person pointed out there were hundreds and thousands out of the water – “My effort matters to the one that is helped by that one act.”

From what I see psychically, everything is happening for a reason, but the big picture and understanding of why it happens this way, is as big as the Universe and all of Evolution through all time. Our prayers and meditation help to bring about higher guidance, and higher levels of healing. The effort we put forth is an act of creation of a new world – one built with what we do as an individual, today.

Finally, with regards to all the destruction that also happens – this too shall pass. Hence why the specific maneuvering in the government and external world doesn’t matter as much as the changes we make happen within our own hearts and minds.

If we want focus on the people in government to help bring about a better world, first, we need to look to the Spirit of God that lives within our own hearts and within our own efforts.  God’s help and guidance is stronger for those we pray for, but God will never take away a soul’s freewill to choose their actions for themselves.  If we see people’s actions as being harmful, then instead of judging, condemning and criticizing, be a person who instead prays for those who are lost in their desire to harm.  Remember, if all we are is a person who condemns and criticizes, but doesn’t pray to do something to help bring real change, then all we are is an empty noisemaker.

Thank you for contributing to this blog.  God bless you.

The Good Fight

There are many that are ready to fight the current political establishment.  There are many that are ready to fight against these first people.  Which group of people has something worth fighting for?  Both.  But, what is it that each is fighting for?  This is the question that each of us must ask ourselves.  We can claim that we are fighting for the most noble causes – for people, for security, for freedom, for rights, for this, for that, for the other thing, etc.

But, who is fighting for honesty?  Who is fighting for compassion?  Who is fighting for mercy and forgiveness?  Who is fighting for kindness and patience?  Who is fighting for patience towards yet “not condemning” the other side?

The “fight” for these is in bringing them forth through our behavior.  In effect, letting these live from inside us, coming from our own heart and mind, coming out in how we relate towards those around us is the strongest way to fight for them – by demonstrating them.  It is the strongest way to make honesty alive, real and solid in the world.  It is the strongest way to make compassion, kindness, patience and the others alive, real and solid in the world.  But, it is a fight that few are willing to engage in, dismissing it easily as if Christ never mentioned it.

If we require the acts of others to have these qualities, yet without these qualities being alive in us, through our own actions, then we are not putting forth the good fight.  When fighting for truth, why bother if we aren’t truthful with ourselves?  When fighting for kindness, why bother if we’re not kind to our enemies?  When fighting for mercy, why bother if we don’t show mercy to any group who thinks differently than we do?

Christ taught that the Romans were the brothers of the Jews.  He never condemned the Romans or their system of government.  Christ taught the message that what was worth fighting for was that which we can find within our own hearts.  It requires us to address who we are within ourselves, first and foremost.

Governments and people in the government will come and go, but who will we be during this time slot – a kind and cooperative person if one side wins and a violent and condemning person if the other side wins?

What does it benefit us to gain all we want in government, or all we want within our own business, or in the world, but then lose our humanity, lose our respect and kindness towards others, our dignity and self-respect, lose our ideals and that which we strive for bettering ourselves?  What does it benefit us, if we use our mind and heart to win the insult battle or win at condemning others more, or use our knowledge to belittle anyone, but then lose our spiritual path or lose our very soul in the process.

This will be done plenty, by others and ourselves, but who do we become when we add to the insults and belittling?

As human beings, we have many examples throughout history of when it became fun to cause suffering onto those we saw as less than, who we saw as beneath us in character, or the enemy, idiots or clueless.  We have many examples of when it became easy to pick up the stones with which to stone others.  We laugh at the words, today, that ridicule those we don’t like.

Imagine the world, today, if we put all that energy and effort into praying and meditating for all the people and all life on the Earth.  Imagine if every day more and more people joined in the praying and meditating to lift the spirits of all life on the Earth.

How does something like millions of people joined in praying and meditating come into being and start?  With one person one day deciding “I will.”

“If chaos, selfishness, bitterness and judgement of others gives us joy and peace of mind, and lifts one’s heart into the presence of Love, then by all means hold onto that.  But, if it doesn’t, consider trading up for that which may be better at lifting one’s heart into the presence of Love.”  (The Rainbow Cards, 1996-2017, Jodie Senkyrik)

That Worthwhile Deep Within

If you’re wondering what effect government actions will have in the long term, you don’t really need to wait and see. You also don’t need to hang your hopes on promises. We can look at the human race all around the world – not just in the United States – and see the pushback that is happening from people who don’t want human, social and spiritual evolution to occur. The pushback is happening in the form of attempts to revert back to previous states of consciousness and previous states of life.  Peace and cooperation  – not chaos – are products of God’s presence and guidance.  Christ never taught chaos, He taught better things than this.

There are issues and “sicknesses” deep within so many human consciousnesses in the Earth. In fact, one can easily say that we all have issues and illnesses within us. For all of us, these are coming to the surface, becoming visible and even being pseudo-supported by some. The racial, religious, and cultural prejudices all around the world that are now more visible than ever before, are a major part of that which is coming to the surface, having been repressed and buried deep within before now.

There are many that, if possible, would like that these “sicknesses” never came to the surface – that one could hold onto them throughout all time. There are many that think that it is right and just to hate a different culture. There are many that think the only way to have peace and harmony is if everyone is the same – starting with the same skin color, then religious beliefs, then political party, then this, then that. To some degree, no one is completely immune to these thoughts and feelings.

Of course, that argument comes from declaring that love is not the center of our existence and therefore not the center of spiritual law. For some, Love is only an emotion that has little power for healing.

The truth is all of us are the same, and all of us are different. We are the same in that we all – in fact all of life – are spirits of the One God. We are all spirit beings. All life is first a spirit being. All life! That means from the smallest thing that exists to the largest thing that exists – we’re all spirit first.

We are different in that the Infinite Consciousness of God creates Infinitely and not finitely. Infinite Consciousness has created Infinite Possibilities, Infinite forms, Infinite manifestations of Spirit and has given spirits in these Infinite manifestations freewill.

When we choose the path of healing our own issues and illnesses within us, we make a more open path for healing for those that follow us or who may be in our lives.  We open to our own Infinite possibilities, because we open to a greater presence of the Infinite Consciousness.  This changes the status quo within ourselves and within our own environment.

____

Difficult times are ahead. It will be easy to hate – as easy as it comes. It is one of the easiest things to look down upon, to dismiss, to diminish, and to disrespect. It is as easy as it comes to consider others to be less than worthy of respect from us, less than worthy of being afforded dignity and less than worthy of human kindness from us.

It is difficult – it takes sometimes dogged, persistent effort to do that which is worthwhile – to show respect – to show human kindness – to recognize that every soul is equally worthy of all human rights and all compassion and consideration. It is difficult to change the deepest part of our own souls, because we then have to let go of benefits that we think we gained through countless lifetimes and years of being prejudiced and condemning – putting ourselves above others – pushing others down beneath us.

For some of us, it will be impossible to change, because some of us will consider ourselves alone in the world, and having only our own prejudice and contempt of others as our companions. But, with God – the Infinite Consciousness of God, all things are possible. With God, all things can be accomplished. With God, our deepest fears and selfishness, our deepest disregard and contempt for any others can indeed be changed. With God, we can open to the truth that all others are our brothers and sisters in God’s Infinite Consciousness and Spirit for each of us has that Spirit of Oneness within our very being – giving us our very existence – uniting us all at our very core of our self.

With the Infinite Consciousness of God, we are one, and we will find our way out of our selfishness and our illusion of being alone.  As human beings, we can find our way back to being in the Family of Man.  As souls, we can find our way back to being enveloped in Infinite Peace and united again with the Infinite Love of our Infinite Source of Life.

Seeking the Truth

Every single human being on the face of the Earth, who has lived before and who will live yet, believes that we hold the truth in our own paradigm of our own everyday beliefs.  Holding onto this paradigm can motivate some of us to close our minds and hearts to anything other than what we already have in our own paradigm.  If we’re so convinced that we hold the truth in our beliefs, we will not then open our minds and seek even greater truths.

This is unfortunate indeed.  Even the Bible tells us to “Trust not our own understanding.”

Regardless of whether we believe something is the truth or not, if we look for the truth, with effort, we will find it.  If we look for what is untrue in order to call it true, we will still find it.  If we look for whatever will shore up what we believe, we will find that.  Whatever we seek, we will find.  Whatever we have in our hearts or minds, if we seek more of that, we will find that.  Hence, why is it that we don’t always seek greater truths.

If we have cynicism is our hearts and minds, and we seek to confirm our cynicism, we will find what we want.  If we have doubt in our hearts and minds and want to confirm our doubt, we will find what confirms doubt.

The person who works hard to discern the difference between the truth and that which is untrue, – only through holding onto that desire in one’s heart and mind – will find the truth, and eventually know it.

Christ gives witness to the truth from within our own consciousness and within our own heart.  There is no mistaking Christ coming forth to confirm the truth within our own consciousness.  There is no lie that can stand up to the truth Christ confirms.  There is no prejudice, selfishness, fear or judgement that will stand up the the truth Christ gives witness to.  The truth is based in Love, and it is love which helps us to grow in discernment.  However, we have freewill and so we can still reject what Christ confirms.

So we need not throw the baby out with the bathwater.  It is easy to say, “they are all fake and all lies and all unethical”  It is easy to seek out confirmation of this, but the person who ONLY has their own understandings and beliefs about the world, will stumble and fall over and over again, for as long as they have themselves ONLY that they believe.

There are some us humans who fully intend to mislead, because it serves selfishness and what is desired.  There are some of us who mislead ourselves.  None of these people are easy to pick out, because sometimes there are parts of us that want to believe that what they say is the truth.  There are sometimes that we want to believe what we ourselves are telling ourselves.  We wish it to be true so much that we are willing to believe what is untrue.

But, there are also people who fully seek to put forth effort to be honest and ethical.  To say that all are unethical is to deny the truth.  This is true of leaders, journalists, teachers, and all manners of all people.

It is a good prayer to pray, “Lord, teach me the Truth.  Help me be good soil for the truth you teach.”

One thing I believe I’ve found is that Love and Truth are same, but you’ll still need to decide if you believe it or not.

What Can I Do?

If we have the desire to ask this question of our self, when we see a problem, but don’t know where to start, then we need only to consider a few things.

Our individual answer to this question doesn’t start with looking at what others are doing. That can be helpful later on, but it’s not the beginning of our own answer. The individual answer also doesn’t come from thinking we have to do something grand and wondrous, media-worthy and overwhelming.

The individual answer to the question, “What can I do?” starts with our own lap.

What do we have in our lap, right now, in this moment? What do we have in our own life, our own environment, our own circle, our own world, our own refrigerator, our own garage, our own daily routine? In other words, what do we have sitting in our own lap? What do we have in front of us? What do we have in our hands, right now?

“What can I do?” doesn’t call for great tasks, it calls for 1 person to do 1 thing on 1 day. This is where we begin. We be our own individual 1 person, and do 1 thing on 1 day.  And that 1 thing, comes from only within our own heart and mind, and we can only get that when we quiet ourselves and take those moments needed, and ask our self THE question, “What can I do?”

We may not have the answer right away, unless we’ve been asking our self this question over and over for some time. Of course, if we need help to get to that moment where we have our answer, we can quiet our self, and give our self a chance to listen to our own heart and our own mind.

It can help to turn off the phone, turn off the TV, turn off sound and sit quietly, resting in thought.  I say, ‘quietly’ in case it comes as a whisper of a thought.

The answer to “What can I do?” is uniquely our own thing to do. We own our 1 thing to do on this 1 day. It is ours alone.

Yes, there are many ways that we can join with others. If our own 1 thing is to join with others, then it is our own. But, if we join with others, without first getting a sense of what is unique about our own 1 thing to do, then we are doing someone else’s 1 thing.

Sit among the trees, listen to the birds, sit quietly for however long it takes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, or 30 minutes. And then, if we think about what is in front of our self – right there directly in front of our self – in our lap – to do, and if we’re willing, then we can try that ‘something’ which could be our own 1 thing in our own lap.

Don’t be surprised if it’s not great or big. It’s the simple things that 1 person can get done. Simply, listen to yourself within for this something one person can do.

What can I do? I can be me – 1 person, and try doing that which is right in front of me, in my own lap.

Staying on Our Spiritual Path in Times of Troubles

We may feel that it is especially difficult to stay on our spiritual path in these days of political difficulties.  As Christ said, “Many of the elect will fall away.”  This statement also pertains to when we stumble and fall flat on our faces when trying to maintain our spiritual center.

The real issue is not that we stumble and fall away from our center, but rather that we work to try again and again to return to that center.  It is entirely reasonable to recognize that we will stumble and fall flat on our faces when we struggle with that which we see and hear which can be harmful to ourselves and other people.  We are at a place in our paths where we face strong challenges from within our very own selves – to practice our learning of that which is a higher path to walk in life.

How do we stay on our spiritual path?  When so much upsets us?  by praying for guidance, being willing to try over and over again – one day at a time, holding to and trying to live from a chosen higher ideal, and asking a very important question.  “God, how do I serve You?” [instead of my own fears, anger and aggression towards others]

Remember also Christ’s words to Peter, before Christ ascended.  “Don’t be concerned about those others.  They are my concern.  You follow Me.”

The Illusion of Battle

What is the purpose of all this fear, anger, and aggression? When it’s on both sides of any issue?

There really can be a purpose created from this struggle. One purpose can be to learn what it’s like to walk in the other person’s feelings and thoughts, but from inside ourselves. During this unique learning, if anyone can step back from the fear, anger and aggression, and look at the whole “fear and anger” experience, then we can see that this whole fear, anger, and aggression experience is exactly what the other person is feeling and thinking, too – only on a different side of the issue.

It’s the exact same feelings – fear – anger – aggression, and even righteousness in these feelings. Step back from the motivating issue and look only at the feelings.

If anyone is wondering why the other side is so entrenched in their viewpoints, we can begin to understand at least their fear, their anger and their aggression. We feel the exact same feelings.  There is no better teacher than to walk in another person’s shoes – to feel the same feelings (even when it’s from different thoughts and beliefs.)

Would you give up your current viewpoints when you’re feeling this fear, anger and aggression against opposition to these viewpoints? If you would not, then you can understand, now, why “they” don’t either.

Is there a purpose to being inside the experience of fear, anger, and aggression? There can be. It is to give us a chance to decide whether we want to learn something from this whole 2-sided battle going on.

Moving from 3rd to 4th

If anyone wants to fight, to get their 3rd chakra’s adrenaline going, we can stay in the 3rd chakra for eons and eons and eons – for thousands of millenniums. And if any of us wants to move into our 4th chakra – the chakra of the heart – the chakra from which we can love God above all else, and love our neighbor as our-self, then we can choose that, instead.  In the 3rd chakra, we can readily experience 2-sided battles.  In the 4th chakra, we move out of duality into recognizing a Oneness among us.

The winning of a battle is an illusion. But, using the 3rd chakra, one feels adrenaline in the battle, which brings the belief that adrenaline means power. However, there is no winning of any argument or battle, because we stay in the 3rd chakra when we bring forth our contribution to battle. We only win, when we realize that life isn’t about winning the battle within the 3rd chakra – the battle of fear and adrenaline. We win when we realize there is no battle, only learning.  This realization happens when we move into the 4th, the heart chakra.

It literally is like moving from one world or plane to another world or plane. The experience is very different, and it can only be understood after the move is made.

There is no convincing another to leave their 3rd chakra when it is the adrenaline which they seek from the experience. As it says in the movie “War Games”, the only way to win is to not play.  There is only one way to conquer fear – as Christ says, “Perfect Love casts out fear.” Choosing to move into the heart chakra moves us out of the Solar Plexus chakra.

There is only a choice of where to live – the 3rd chakra or the 4th.  In giving all of us freewill, God lets all of us make our own choice.  Moving into the heart chakra, we can then see that part of the expression of the heart is to let others choose for themselves the lessons and their timing on when to learn them.

Be Inspired ! !

Yes, even if we’re feeling discouraged about the politics in the U.S., now is a good time to get up in the morning with hope in our hearts.  Why, because now is a wonderful opportunity to do something specific.

Instead of being discouraged, angry and bitter, look for someone or something that you feel is inspiring.  These exist everywhere.  Look for topics.  Look for speakers.  Look for actions – all of which are inspiring to you.  All of these are happening.  We can see them on the Internet, in society, on Youtube, on Facebook, and many other places.

The energy we feel when we look for inspiration is a recognition that our hope is a hope for very real results.  Inspiration is the belief that there is a force of accomplishment in our planet which we can connect to and ride – like a surfer on a wave.  This wave of inspiration raises us up.  This energy of inspiration – of being inspired – of listening to someone or watching something that is inspiring – is a force that spreads – strengthening the heart of individuals all over the place.  Then, in turn, helping us to act in whatever way we find is best.

When we seek inspiration, we find inspiration. There are people in the world that are inspiring.  There are stories people share that inspire others.  There are speakers that inspire people.  When we join with these others, we feel the VERY REAL energy of being able to accomplish what we seek to accomplish.

Sure, we may get tired and weary, discouraged and feel despair sometimes.  After all, we are human beings.  But, we can also breath in strength, and as Og Mandino wrote in his book, “The Greatest Salesman in the World”, “He who is determined enough to succeed, will never fail.”  Who among us is advocating ‘giving up’ on anything that we know is worthwhile to pursue?

As the inspiration grows within one’s own heart and mind, let it also be turned within, to inspire us to accept and forgive, be patient and let go of judgment.  Let this inspiration also guide us inwardly to seek within our heart who to forgive and who to show mercy towards.  Let this energy inspire us to have compassion.  Let it inspire us to have fortitude to stay the course – to be patient – to have mercy towards others – to show charity when the need exists, and to seek out and learn wisdom.  Let this inspiration motivate us to give of our time or money or cooperation or energy or muscle to help join with others wherever we find ourselves – to cooperate in lifting up humanity, or our nation, or our community or our small group, or our family and friends.  Let this inspiration motivate us to show love to all the living beings around us – to give of our heart and mind.

Remember the Dr. Seuss cartoon story of the Who of Whoville?  When the Grinch stole their Christmas decorations, Christmas still happened within the hearts and minds of all the people of Whoville.  Did you feel good when you saw that part?  Was it because inspiration (Christmas), courage, fortitude, persistence, dedication, joy, community, friendship, joining together – all of these still exist within our hearts and are not based on external events?

If any of us need inspiration, look at historical events which are devastating.  Then look at how we respond to these devastating events.  People come together to persevere, to show courage, to rebuild, to give inspiration for those who are discouraged or suffering – to help people stand back up in the face of adversity.

Let whatever words from others that help to lift you up be hung as your banner and flag.  For me, I’ve always liked, “He or She, who is determined enough to succeed will never fail” and “Let God decide what is possible.” and “There will never be a day that we can stop hatred and violence in the world by opposing it using hatred and violence.” and many of the others in the Rainbow Cards.  I think of that for all individuals.  And when one person joins with another one person, and then another one person, and on and on, strength grows for us as a unified group.

*******

If your counter-argument to what is above is that it’s hard to be inspired when one gets beat-up, spit upon, whipped, pushed around, kicked, and nailed up on a cross to die, then you’re absolutely right.  And yet, with God, all things are possible – even resurrection.

Boomerang Karma

Those of us who recognize and directly experience the spiritual reality of past lives and future lives, know that what we send out there comes back to us. Karma is simply a boomerang. The trash we send out is the trash that returns to us, and we have to clean up. The problems we create for others (and ourselves) are the problems that return to us, and we are responsible for cleaning up. The disasters we create are the disasters that we’re responsible for cleaning up.

So, when we look at others, it is aaaaaaalllllllllwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaays! easy to point out the boomerang that they’ll be dealing with in their future lives. But, what good does condemning others do for ourselves? None.

Only when we look at our own lives and clean up the messes in our own life are we fulfilling the task that “Boomerang Karma” calls for. The healing we do in relationships, the resolving of issues within ourselves, and the prayers and meditations for others in need – these things are what cleans up our own boomerang karmic messes.

If our life is screwed up, messed up or we’re dealing with problems in any way at all, then we’ve simply received back the boomerang that we sent out. Even judging ourselves is its own boomerang mess.

We can look at the world and fret, gripe, become angered at all the @$#%^#%& that others are dumping into the Earth – our Earth. But remember, if we’re dealing with @$#%^#%& in our own lives, it means only one thing. This phrase is appropriate in this case – “Let He/She who is without sin, cast the first stone.” We all have heard that phrase and know what it means, because we’ve walked that messy path, also.

We created messes in this world, and we now live a life trying to clean them up. We try any number of acts to help make the world a better place.  We are meditators, activists, pray-ers, light workers and more.  And it pisses us off when we’re trying to clean up our mess and others come along and mess it up again.

Others create messes in this world, and they will be responsible for cleaning up their messes. Like watching children make a mess on the floor, or the carpet, or the walls, or the ceilings, or they set the house on fire, we can remember that there is no mess that cannot be cleaned up.  All things broken can be fixed.   All things demolished can be rebuilt.  Life goes on, and as Christ told Peter after Christ had risen, “You don’t worry about them. I’ll worry about them. You follow me.” Put another way, ‘Helping all souls  everywhere through all time is my job.  Cleaning up your life now is your job.’

It is our own work on our self that transforms the energy of who we are. It is this work that in turn, impacts the Earth. It is this energy that transforms the world. The raising of our energy through inner work, raises the Earth energy, which in turns slowly helps those in lower energy be brought up to higher energy, also.

One could say, we are physicians seeking to heal ourselves of the wounds we’ve inflicted on others and ourselves, and in turn, demonstrate to those who observe us (and learn from observing us), how to heal one’s self of one’s own self-inflicted wounds. The Infinite Consciousness of Infinite Love is the foundation of this path and will carry it all the way through to it’s conclusion, and in a way that no soul shall perish or be left behind. The Infinite Consciousness of God has the Infinite Patience that this job calls for.

Here’s a thought – after souls are finished in the Earth plane – souls have innumerable other greater dimensions to go to and from which to learn. Don’t worry, we have eternity to do this – plenty of time.

Cooperating with Love

The reason I don’t title this “Cooperating with God” is because each of us has generated our own idea of God in our heads. We then believe that the idea of God which we have – with all the character traits that we assign to the “God” in our head – is the real God that exists. In essence, as individuals, we have created our own God in our own minds.  Our own minds fall way short in being able to conceptualize the real God.

Even when we join others, in organized religions, or accepted spiritual beliefs systems, we have our own individual slant on these ways of believing. This means that on the Earth today, considering we have 7-8 billion people on the planet, we have that number of ideas of who and what God is. Is there any wonder why when we tell others that our beliefs (ideas in our head of what God is) are right and their beliefs (ideas in their heads of what God is) are wrong (or vice versa)- that we have wars, wars and more wars?

There truly is no way for any human to have a comprehensive and finished idea of who and what God is. If we allow for our learning to change as we grow older, we would also allow for our understanding of God to change as we grow older. The fact is our beliefs and ideas of God were never exactly the same during any part of our lives growing into adulthood. If we continue this path, our idea of God can grow and evolve throughout our entire lives.

The challenge is to accept that our path of learning an ever-growing and changing idea of God, will continue even unto our own death. Don’t worry. This is okay. There is no book, religious or spiritual belief that gives us the task of completely, and comprehensively understanding the ALL OF GOD. We barely learn to understand much of ourselves throughout this entire life. It’s possibly more important to have an open mind about God, than have a complete understanding of God. Remember, once we lock onto the idea, thought or belief that we completely understand God, in any particular moment, we are no longer open to gaining an even greater understanding than we momentarily have.

However, when we start thinking about “Love”, and considering what Love is, we start coming together in similar awareness of the experience of Love. We no longer have billions of ideas of love, but rather billions of experiences of that which is Love. These experiences of love – from the act of loving another person, or life, or life form, we recognize as vastly similar to others’ experiences of love. So, when we talk of Love, each of us has a connection to the concept, feelings, experiences and understanding of Love which other people have as well. For the most part, we all hold to the same sense of what Love is. This is why we can make so many movies with Love as the theme, and so many people can relate and enjoy the movies.

Cooperating with Love becomes understandable. Anyone who loves their partner, spouse, child, parent, sibling, friend, pet, etc, at some point, recognizes that they love them. Loving is a consistent experience. Even if we change the target of our love, we are still able to recognize that we love, when we change targets. When we talk of Love and Loving with someone, we are able to understand the experience to which the other person is referring.

The challenge, then is to cooperate with the Love that we have within us. Instead of acting from an idea of God that is in our head, we act from the love we know first hand. This can vastly change what we put forth into our relationships and into the Earth.

Many will quote the well-known axiom, “God is Love”, but again, we have our billions of different ideas of God that comes with that axiom. In turn, we barely understand what this saying could mean. It’s an idea that starts with an unknown. Some would even say that God is the opposite of Love – anger, hate, vengefulness. Isn’t that what humans exhibit many times when we take up the flag of our own “God” and wage war?

I prefer “Love is God” (Rainbow Cards, ©, 1990-2016). We know the experience of love and loving. The experience of Love and Loving then brings a whole new dimension to the idea of God. This brings a dimension of personal experience. If we’ve experienced Love by loving another, and in turn, allow for the possibility of God being connected to Love, then we can add this experience to our understanding of our limited belief of God. We can add a personal experience of a part of God.

I also prefer, “If we want a direct experience of God, then Love someone.” (Rainbow Cards, ©, 2009)

As human beings, we have the freewill to choose our own beliefs about God and religions. Many will choose “God is hate, God is anger, God is vengefulness” and live from these beliefs – cooperating with these beliefs. But, at anytime, we can also choose to Love, thus making Love real in the Earth and in our relationships – cooperating with Love. Because our understanding of God is ever-changing and ever-growing, we can learn one or the other. While some may choose “God is hate”, we don’t have to do the same. We know that Love is real. We’ve experienced it. We know that Love is good. We’ve experienced that, also. We know that Love is worthwhile. We know that Love is valuable, and we can love at any moment of any day. We know that we can add more Love into this world, and it will change relationships and change the world. We can choose, “Love is God” and make this part of God real in the Earth.

Love is real; love is patient; love is kind; love is forgiving; love is merciful; love is powerful; Love is God.

Forgiveness: Why It’s So HARD!!!

We all may agree that forgiveness is needed in our lives.  It is a spiritual prerogative.  It is also a social, emotional and psychological imperative.  But, it is one of the hardest things to do within our own heart and mind.

There are so many factors that are involved with forgiving.   There are so many facets of our own psyche that are attached to the circumstances and actions in which we are called to forgive about.  So, of course, it is going to be a difficult challenge, especially if the different parts of us – within us – are struggling against the other parts of us that are within us.

Books and more are written about forgiveness.  There are countless articles and treatises that are written about forgiveness.  The Bible is filled with the calling to forgive, and so we try.

Forgiveness isn’t always a “freeing” experience, like some say.  It isn’t always a wonderful experience.  This is because we are multi-dimensional and multi-faceted individual souls.  There’s a lot going on inside us – in our minds, in our hearts, in our hopes for life, in our dreams, in our motivations, in everything about us.

Forgiveness is, in fact, an act of letting go.  But, there is sometimes great grief in this act.  Why grief?  Because there is a death occurring.  It isn’t a death of a person, but rather the death of a dream and image of something – giving way to the reality of something.

More often, it is the death of who we think a person is, and who we want that person to be, as well as what we think our relationship to the person is, and what we want our relationship to be.  Forgiveness brings us to a realization that the person and our relationship aren’t what we had imagined, thought, believed, hoped, dreamt it all to be.

It is with forgiveness that we come to realize that the person is slightly or greatly different than we had projected onto them.  The death of that “imagined person” comes through the act of forgiveness.  Who we wanted to believe that person or persons were comes to an end (or partially).  There is sometimes great grief that comes with this realization.

This all brings us to the point that we can let that other person become a human being instead of being an imaginary person whom we projected onto.

In our hearts, it is easier to like and love someone who we don’t know that well as a human being.  It is easy to project onto that person.  In our hearts, it is more painful to love an actual human being who is capable of hurting others – someone who we learn about in a deeper way – someone who demonstrates their ability and willingness to disregard and hurt others.

******

Forgiveness is an act of growth for us when we forgive.  We open up our mind to see a real person – a real live human being who has thousands of qualities – both good and bad – and not some idealized image of a person whom we only were willing to see either the good or the bad – without the other.

When we put someone on a pedestal, we don’t see the reality of who they are.  We don’t see them as human beings with all their faults.  We only see an image – a false human being – an unreal human being.  That is why it is then so easy to crucify them.

When we forgive, we let them get off the pedestal and become a soul who is trying to learn how to be a human being – regardless of whether they’re successful or not – regardless of whether or not we’re aware of whether they’re trying – regardless of whether they are even trying or not.

When we forgive, we change ourselves into a human being who sees another human being – instead of an image of that human being.  When we forgive, we allow the relationship to be what it is, rather than what we want it to be – leaving us in a better place to decide whether it is a relationship we wish to continue and bring forth a different love or discontinue because of the need to remove ourselves from a bad relationship.

The reason why Christ can love us without reservation is because He forgives us over and over.  Forgiveness doesn’t make the relationship better not even how we relate to Jesus, but it does create an open door for our inner change to happen.  If we’re willing to walk through the open door for change, then the relationship can get better, but not everyone who is forgiven is willing to walk through the open door for change.

That is why forgiveness can also bring grief.  Forgiveness can also bring the reality of a destructive relationship which needs to come to an end.  We can forgive ***and forget*** but it comes with change.  Sometimes that change is to love more.  Sometimes that change is to move on.

The challenge of many of the Jews and others who were alive after WWII was to forgive the Nazis.  The awareness was present for many that only in the forgiving of them did the prisoners become free from the Nazis.  If there was no forgiveness, the two were still tied together.

Forgiveness doesn’t make everything peachy-keen.  Again, it brings a view of the reality of what the relationship is and what the relationship isn’t.  It helps us to see when we have been holding onto someone wanting them to be someone they aren’t.  It helps us to see when we’ve been holding onto a relationship wanting it to be something it isn’t.  And with this awareness, perhaps be able then to choose a better action on our parts other than idealizing someone or some part of someone, and idealizing the relationship or some part of the relationship.

Finally, mercy is always available to help us to forgive.  Remember, each of us has been forgiven many, many, many times and by many, many, many people – including by Christ, Himself.  And we’ll never know the full spectrum and all of the quantity of the times we’ve been forgiven.  As long as we are alive as human beings, we will never know.  We can only know that we’ve been forgiven countless times, but for the rare occasions that we may learn a few of the details of when and why.

We can then participate in our forgiving of others without holding onto expectations – just letting the act of forgiveness itself be a hidden act of mercy, and then moving on with our life.

Wisdom in Life

Every person has wisdom within them.  Every. Single. Person.  And yet, we have questions and struggles, and confusion, and problems, destructive behavior, hatred, violence, rage, etc.

All wisdom is within us.  We keep our wisdom within our inner refrigerator/freezer.  Sooner or later, in this life or the next, or the next after that, we will dig into our freezer, pull out some wisdom, thaw it out, devour it, digest it, integrate it into our cells, and thus putting it to use, it will be part of us.

Obviously, it will never be part of us – our muscles, our organs, our brain, our heart – if we only look at it and study it.  It must be put to use – like vitamins, minerals, protein, carbohydrates, etc.  In addition, none of this wisdom will help us while it is still being kept frozen deep within us, not sought after and not considered.

Sometimes a willingness to learn helps to motivate us to dig into our freezer of wisdom.  Sometimes pain and suffering helps motivate us to venture into our freezer.  Obviously, a willingness to open our minds and hearts – a willingness or desire to learn – feels a lot better than the pain and suffering experiences.  That’s been my experience, having gone through both.

Kindness – on Purpose

Right now in the US, we face a kind of craziness.  It is brought on by the political situation in the US.  It is brought on by the stress, the fears, the concerns, the words, the actions of the people.  Very few of us are immune to all these above.  All these issues show themselves via people across the nation arguing with each other (and worse) – people who usually don’t argue (and worse) with each other.

For the people of this country, (or anyone you choose) – it’s time for those of us who pray and meditate to do so – pray and meditate for the people of this country (and anyone you choose.)  Those of us who pray – pray.  Those of us who meditate – meditate.  Anyone of us who doesn’t do either – do acts of kindness – on purpose.

Acts of kindness are not meant to be accidental, so let them be on purpose.  Look for opportunities to do a kindness for someone – on purpose.  Look for an opportunity to speak a kindness – on purpose.  Look for an opportunity to think a kind thought – on purpose.  Random kindness is no longer enough.

These acts or words or thoughts of kindness are not automatically done by us.  Kindness is not always automatic.  Kindness isn’t  always second nature.  These acts are not always our automatic response when someone does or says something that causes anger or pain in us.

Many times, the opposite is our automatic response.  Anger is our automatic response. Resentment and bitterness are our automatic response. Unkind thoughts are our automatic response.  Verbal arguments and abuse are our automatic response.

If this is the country we choose – one of anger, resentment, bitterness, abusive words, blame, etc.  we are moving towards that, now.  What we see happening in our country will only get worse.  As we continue along this road of anger, resentment, bitter arguments, and abusive words, we will move into the next decade building mountains and mountains of even greater anger and abusiveness.

Christ started a trend when He walked the roads of the Middle East.  He started a trend of looking for opportunities to offer kindness – through His healing, through His actions towards others one on one, and through His words.  It caught on with His followers because it offers something a whole lot better than what we automatically offer through anger, bitterness and abusiveness towards others.

Blessed are those who do kindness on purpose, for they are offering a medicine that we need much more of.

*******

A word of warning:  Don’t you dare think it’s going to be easy.  Remember, kindness is rarely an automatic response.  Those times you we fail, we practice “Kindness on purpose” on yourself ourselves, as well.

By the way, the kindness we give to others, the kind acts we do for others, with regards to receiving back from them – think of all the kindness that God extends to us every moment of every day.  We aren’t even aware of His kindness, are we?  But, yet His kindness comes and comes to us without end.  Such is the gift from the Spirit of Infinite Kindness.  The question is how many times have we given an equal amount of kindness back to God?  We all know the answer to that.  So, we can let God extend the kindness through our human hearts so that the other person will have had the experience of receiving kindness from God, through us – this being the purest kind of kindness.

Why do Extraterrestrials Not Let Themselves Be Known?

The argument has been made that “If extraterrestrials existed, they would let themselves be known”.  While this argument can be popular among many, it lacks an understanding of the factors involved and therefore doesn’t give insight into the reason why they don’t. In turn, this argument usually seeks to dismiss any discussion or anyone who looks to go beyond the box of one’s beliefs.

Look at the Earth today, with the current number of nations and the different types of governments. As a whole, look at the conflicts we have between countries. Then look at the conflicts we have within each individual country’s borders. We have many different ideologies that lead to disagreements, and conflicts. We have wars based on selfish efforts to overpower others for one’s own agenda. We have many organizations and groups that have their own agendas based on affecting others’ lives according to the most powerful groups decisions. This is the very real situation on the whole Earth.

No country, government or group is immune to this or free from some nations, groups or factions displaying this behavior or other efforts made to gain control or have power over someone else. As long as there are individuals and governments who seek their own agendas over the good of all, this will happen. We are very aware of this here in the U.S. since we’ve seen it play out in our own society.

Take a look at the technological leaps we’ve made in the last 100 years. We’ve gained nuclear power, computer technology, cellular phones, and the list goes on almost forever. None of these have “saved” mankind of been made to be free from the agendas of those who greedily seek financial or political power over others. Instead technology still also gets used to serve the quest for greater power and more deadly weapons.  We can see examples where the hunger for more power and weapons grows still.

In addition, the craving for energy sources is great as well. We have over 7 billion people on the planet and will have 8 billion in a decade. We’ll move towards 9 billion after that. Looking down the road, our energy needs will be way more that they are today.  The effort to get that energy to sell to consumers will be greater, also.

What do you think will happen when another (albeit, FRIENDLY) civilization comes forth that has technology and energy sources far more useful or powerful than our own?

In general, each country, each nation, each governing body, each corporation, each industry will be clambering for the technology and energy sources. On the whole, with current human thinking, the clamor and acquisition for the best technology means making the most money. With current human thinking, the race to get the energy sources ET’s have won’t bring different people’s into cooperation, but rather, more likely into more fighting.  That is what is happening now. The level of technology and energy which non-Earth civilizations would bring – would trigger even greater conflict and even worse wars, because the fighting for these would continue.  After all, wars have been the ways for many to accomplish getting what one wants, in the past.   The motto, “Use what works.” is still alive on this planet.

Right now, the effort to get the technology and energy wouldn’t unite humans. Look at what nuclear capability brought. It did not unite peoples. Look at what computer technology has brought. There are still great imbalances among the different nations of the world – and how to disseminate and control that technology. Look at oil, electricity and the like. The struggle among humans for power over others still goes on even with the advances in technology and energy.

Those that are from other planets, or rather, those with benevolent intentions from other planets, don’t seek to get in the middle of the conflicts we have here on Earth. They know that their technologies and energies could lead to even greater conflict with the tug-o-wars that would happen. Governments would demand their share of technologies in the name of “keeping the balance of power” with many going to war to maintain this balance. Even greater wars than we’ve ever had, could happen.

Greater technologies will never be what saves humankind from our self and our own selfishness. We have much evolution to go through, yet.  We can only be that which, and who, we are.  Currently, all across the planet, we are still the humans that we are.

The day is coming that people from other planets make their presence known publicly. But, today, the human race as a whole is not where we need to be in order to avoid making a conflictual situation even worse.

No benevolent race of beings wants their arrival to destroy the people they come to “visit”. The human race, with its conflictual behaviors, and examples in history of the human drive to conquer rather than coexist, plus today’s examples of abusive behaviors to life here on Earth – and our not having the full collective will to stop the abuse – all point to this time in our lives not being when they should make themselves known.

Until that day comes, they may make themselves known to individuals or to small groups. They may make themselves known in secret. They may make themselves known as rumors and half-believed stories. They may make themselves known in ways that only a few believe are real. But, much has to happen among the human race before they make themselves known publicly to all people and all nations as visitors from another star system.
