The Prejudice We Don’t Know

Everyone knows prejudice – what it is – that it exists – that it contributes to the pain and suffering of human beings.   During our own lives and in our past, we’ve seen prejudice be at the core of oppression, suffering, and the killing of people.  We see it without trying to find it.

Like a ball, it has many sides.  Contrary to some beliefs, understanding prejudice is not a black and white understanding – either knowing it or not knowing it.  Recognizing prejudice is not a black and white experience – either seeing it or not seeing it.  Human prejudice is as visible and invisible as the human psyche and spirit permits.

This is partly because very few know how to cleanse themselves of prejudice.

This is because the real issue is never whether we are prejudiced or not.  As difficult as it is to read this statement, it is true.  The real issue is different.  The real issue is how do we cleanse ourselves of prejudice.

Imagine if God, in His/Her ability for Infinite Possibilities, one day when we woke up, had turned us from what we are in this world into another race or the opposite gender, or a different religion or sexual orientation or different nationality, an opposite or different… anything – than who and what we are right now – all while we stayed aware of all of this transformation.  In one moment, we went from one identity and paradigm of who we are to an opposite in the next moment.  Impossible, but not for God – since “it just happened.”

How would we feel being aware of who we were one moment and then being aware that we’re no longer who we were but we’re now the opposite?  Would we welcome it?  Would we dread it?  Would we be glad?  Would we be sad or devastated?

The real issue mentioned above is whether we could then be honest with ourselves, because we would come face to face with our true feelings, thoughts and attitudes of the “other” that is now our self.  Our feelings and attitudes would give our self away.

Within the awareness, within the body, within the mind or within everything of this opposite that we now are – would we feel it is a punishment? or would we feel it is a release from a prison?  or a prison sentence?  The next question becomes “Why?”  Why would we be glad? or sad?  Why would we feel it is a punishment? Why would we feel it is a release from a prison? or a prison sentence?

And there are other questions.  Are we now that which we had blamed, looked down on, hated or targeted?  Have we become someone who we would want to be?  Or are we someone who we would dread to be?

Targets

Ultimately, the question is ‘Have we ever thought, felt or acted against another person or group?  It is this person or group, who we thought, felt, or acted against that is our target.  Targeting anyone or any group is what prejudice is about.

Only when we take the journey of working on ourselves within, striving to have no one anywhere as our target – only then, do we strive to work to cleanse ourselves from prejudice of any kind- and cleanse ourselves from our judging another person or group who is not that which we individually are.

Who among us can claim we have cleansed ourselves completely of prejudice?  and then become the opposite of what we are – with no qualms or shame, or worry, with no gladness, no sadness and then go on to recognize that we are both the previous self and the opposite of our self – and both of these are our self.  Ultimately, in being prejudiced, we are only prejudiced, and have targeted, (and seek to limit, blame or hate) our own self.

Not being prejudiced is a journey of letting go of judgment of ourselves as much as it is letting go of judgment of others.  It is a journey of discovering that every one is our self, and our own self is everyone – including the ones we currently target, judge or hate.

If we choose to strive to cleanse ourselves from targeting anyone, we also strive to accept and welcome everyone as our own self and our own self as everyone – more importantly, we will have traveled a journey that leads us to accept our whole Self -that Self who contains all the opposites within one person even though the surface doesn’t show it, yet.

Is this possible to do for human beings?  As Christ said, “With God, ALL THINGS are possible.” even traveling a journey of discovering as individuals, who we really are.  With that discovery, hopefully being that we are all one another and therefore, we are all One.

Is this hard to understand? Sure, but cleansing prejudice is only done with effort to understand more things and greater things about people, than that amount we understand so far.  This takes effort and striving.

********

Changing away from prejudice is a journey of “a thousand days.”  However, on a day to day basis – taking one day at a time – it is a light switch.  It is a light switch when we realize that we targeted someone yesterday, and we can choose to not target them on this day – today – not target another person or group of people through our words, our actions or our thoughts – today.

We can turn our journey into “1000 light switches” when we take our journey one day at a time, and choose only on this day, today – with each “today” which we are given – to target no person or group of people whatsoever based on that which identifies them beyond their own character.

There was a movie made in 1970 called “Watermelon Man” which covered the experience of waking up as “a different man.”

Psychic Predictions for 2016

Because I’ve been so busy and haven’t had any opportunities – that’s why I haven’t gotten my 2016 predictions up yet.

Overview

I don’t see ***a lot*** of change happening on a Global scale comparing 2015 to 2016.  By this I mean, I don’t see many major events making large changes from what we have in 2015.  A few – but not many.

What I do see for 2016 more often is a continuation of that which has already been brought forth in 2015.

The Economy

In general, the World’s economy will overall stay steady as she goes.  The economy at the beginning of 2016 will pretty much be where we are at the end of 2016.  However, there will be some economic problems or scares related to Europe, up and down, but ending at a stable place at the end of 2016.

India’s economy is still slowly growing and I see it continue to grow in 2016.  China’s economy, too, will grow, but not as strong as India.   Although, we won’t get any word of it, the country with the initials, NK – I see their economy getting worse.  Sad indeed.  The citizens there will suffer.  The citizens of NK need our prayers, as they always have.  The leader(s) don’t see a need to do anything about it.

Russia’s economy will fluctuate some because of their ties with Europe and Asia both.  They’re invested in the countries around them, as well as their own.  Some of their “investments” in other countries will bring bad results.

For the most part, except for the continued warring, the economies of the Middle East are stable, because they’re based on the sale of oil in the regions.  Moving away from oil in any way will trigger some fluctuation, but in 2016 I don’t see any major disasters for any countries based on oil.

The US economy will continue as is it in 2015.  At the end of Spring, 2016, I see an announcement from Washington that will help boost the economy more, even.

A Presidential Year in the US

As of December 29, 2015, a total of 1,458 candidates had filed a Statement of Candidacy with the Federal Election Commission. No, that’s not a typo.  1,458.  That’s the total of all party candidates, independent. write-in, and non-affiliated candidates.  Some of these were “meant as jokes”, but the majority are real people.  There will not be 1,458 names on the ballots, because not all candidates register or meet the requirements to be on the ballots in all states.

As we get closer to the November, 2016 elections, we will see more and more what we can term as -“bizarre behavior” in our government officials.  It’s hard to describe what it will be, but that word – “bizarre” – will be used by many.

What I see is that the diversity of opinions and beliefs in the U.S. can do nothing but remain the status quo.  I’m seeing no success by any candidate in unifying the country.  Every person who has their own opinions and beliefs thinks they’re opinions are right and the other people need to wake up to it.  With this way of thinking, there is no middle ground where people are willing to come together.

I see extremism in American politics being the theme of the November, 2016 campaign trail.

US

The economy for the US will stay stable and doing well.  The gasoline prices will remain at a lower level, but look for them starting to inch up around the end of the summer.  I’m seeing a “flash” of an average price around $2.25 being the high by the end of the year.  This will be an average with some areas of the nation being only slightly higher.  What I’m also seeing is how volatile this price is – moved by human consciousness which moves like flocks of birds in the sky.

I’m seeing several medical breakthroughs announced in 2016.  These will get little press time.  What is getting press will be several more mass shootings happening sometime around May.  Prayers can help to curb, minimize and even stop some of these shootings.

Overall, 2016 won’t be a “great” year for the Midwest large-scale farming or the US car industry.  Although starting strong throughout the spring, midsummer will bring downward trends and struggles.

I see the immigration issue in the US as being a mud wrestling pit.  There is no clarity and cleanliness to this issue.  The politics of this issue will increase the separation of the divided camps.  I see no worthwhile progress, just running for office dictating what is said and done.  Congress will have another year of passing a low amount of legislation.

The economy will be good in general and overall.  Food prices won’t increase much.  Local farms will continue to serve their local customers.  The drought will hit somewhat, but not as bad as in the past (in general.  Different states will have different levels of it hitting.)

Africa

I see Africa struggling with similar issues as 2015.  I see areas where government officials ignore the needs of the citizens in need, illnesses and diseases getting a toe hold.

I also see other nations reaching out to help African nations and this will keep Africa’s problems from getting too much worse – it won’t remove or solve the problems, but it will help it from getting much worse.  A few areas will have serious problems.

Europe

Europe’s nation-cooperation will become more a stormy struggle and will require a great deal of hard work.  Some of that hard work will come in 2016.  The Syrian refugee issues will still be a major issue through the 1st half of 2016.  The hugely vast majority of refugees will come to be seen as good citizens in the years ahead.  But, it will also be years before the stigma is worn away.

The Middle East

I see an optimistic announcement coming from Washington sometime near the end of spring to mid-summer that a breakthrough has come in negotiations for better cooperation and acceptance among nations in the Middle East.  This will be an uneasy breakthrough – and will come from a “compromise” – the definition of this compromise being “when both sides are equally dissatisfied with the results.”

Australia

Australia’s economy will not gain but will not lose much either.  It is relatively active, but won’t increase, even with the incentives brought in.  The problem is the vast amount of foreign investments are going to wait and see what happens, rather than take an aggressive or optimistic approach for 2016.  On the plus side, the economy won’t lose that much because of it.  Were foreign investments to take a more aggressive approach in vast numbers, Australia’s economy would grow.

Meanwhile, the drought will continue through 2016, as well.  I see more potential for fires.  Even with this happening, I see Sydney continuing in positive and growing ways.  The energy of the city will be more celebratory than discouraging.

South America

They will continue with some major earthquakes in the same old areas – mostly western S.A.  Mudslides will accompany the earthquakes.  The differences between 2015 and 2016 in so many areas of comment will be almost unnoticeable, except in Southwest S.A. which has a potential large destructive event which would be reported in world news.  Prayers for this area will bring the destruction down to a small event – hardly worth mentioning and therefore not by news agencies.

The Pope

The Pope will be more active in the 1st half of 2016, continuing to be in the public eye, but will stay more close to Rome in the 2nd half with much less visibility and press.  His speeches will focus mostly on the poor, needy and suffering people in the world – some about the refugees.  His messages will carry some sternness towards world leaders for the recalcitrance towards compassion and helpfulness of many nations’ leaders.

Natural Disasters

While the world will continue to experience natural disasters, I’m not seeing a hugely world event in 2016.  The 2nd of 3 events I saw for August, 2015 has been broken up into smaller, better handled events over a number of areas, including what I think is deep water earthquakes off the coast of N.W Africa.   If this does happen as I’m seeing it, it will be in the same area near where the southern tip of Atlantis existed over 12,000 to 200,000 years ago.

In General

Because of the lower fuel costs, there will be less incentives for automakers to proceed with more efficient vehicle production.  However, the research into electric vehicles will continue – especially in Japan.  In the years ahead, the progress made in Japan, in the electric vehicle batteries will lead the industry, while American manufacturers will do more observing than research.  The Tesla company will have some improvements, but Japan’s research is still ahead.  Japan’s intention is to move the auto industry further into the electric vehicle direction by 2020.  They see the China market – with it’s current pollution problems – and envision Japan’s cars as being a solution for China’s problems along that line.  This is in actuality a positive move and will put them ahead of the game again, leaving the American manufacturers playing catch-up in electric vehicles as a solution.  The growing China economy and growing spending power, plus China’s growing numbers of younger car buyers will be very open to electric vehicles.  There will be a push for this to happen in 2019 and 2020, but will lessen going into 2021-2023.  The focus during 21-23 will be on trying to come up with the next generation of technology for electric cars.

At the same time, during these years gas powered vehicles will still have the dominate share of the market.  Unfortunately, for American car manufacturers, they are looking to much to the present and past, while Japan’s are looking more to the future.

Medicine and Medical Care

We won’t see much change over all from 2015 to 2016.  A few unmentioned breakthroughs in medicine will be announced in a few medical journals.  The controversies with vaccines will continue with the same arguments happening on both sides, but little pursuit to solidify any deeper insight or understanding of vaccines and autism.  If more medical research were to happen in the field, more would be revealed that hasn’t been understood before.  Currently, the status quo is pursued by pharmaceutical industries and the medical community (which doesn’t have research to say anything else.)  The opposition to vaccines won’t go away soon, and may get louder until the medical community starts asking more questions about what is possible with vaccines and autism.  Research is happening, but only in small pockets and effort is made more to ignore it.

Update:  A New Energy

A new type of energy which I’ve been seeing coming into our lives within the next few decades is being delayed.  The person I foresaw as spearheading the research is taking a longer approach in his research and therefore could add another 7-8 years before he finally develops his theories.  The delay may only move the completion of the research into working models from 2045 or so, to 2050-2052.  This also will change the timeline for the world’s beginning to make welcome contact with extraterrestrials, who, more than anything else, are waiting for humans to develop our own technologies to help the planet – technologies in energy that will move us away from polluting, non-sustainable energy sources.

Food

The Spring of 2016 will see a bountiful harvest of local producing small farms.  The weather from 2015-2016 will help bring water to the farms.  Even though flooded, many areas will benefit from the water for food crops.  As mentioned earlier, the large-scale farming operations will have trouble from the same weather.  The small farms can recover faster.

2017 is different.

Beware of Ignorance

Take a look at the world we live in. In looking at the world, look at what human beings’ pursuit of education has offered the world.  At the same time, look at what people’s lack of the pursuit of education – ignorance – has offered the world.  Which state of the mind has offered the best and which has offered the worst for mankind?

There are many that will criticize both – and in doing so, seek to justify their own position.  One might easily argue that it is education that created the atomic bomb and put the whole world in jeopardy.  One might easily argue that it is education that created weapons of destruction, which led to terrorism.  One might equally argue that this or that particular ignorance is the cause of this or that failure in the world.

But, it is ignorance that makes all these arguments.  It is ignorance that takes education and shapes it into tools to serve ignorance.  It is the ignorance in people that look at technology and think different technologies are either good or bad, instead of seeing that deeper within people’s hearts and minds that use technology lies the motivation for how technology is used – for good or for bad.  It is also ignorance that says that this or that shortfall is the cause of a certain problem that the world faces.

The greater ignorance of which I speak is the ignorance of all of humanity being one family.  I speak of the ignorance that we are all brothers and sisters.  This ignorance leads people to further their beliefs of separation based on subjective measurements – like where a person was born, or what color skin a person has, or what religion a person chooses.

While some may think these factors are important, they simply are looking at the surface measurements – which change as rapidly as time.  The boundaries of countries have changed throughout time and will continue, for all countries – all – in time.  The differences of the pigment colors in the skin are superficial, at best, and comparable to what size feet a person has, at worst.  Can you imagine if we chose our cultures and groups based on the size of a person’s foot?  or whether they have freckles? or if they’re left handed or right? or if they gesture with their hands when they talk?  In addition, the use of religious beliefs to separate different groups of people totally defeats the purpose of religious beliefs, which have been meant to help unify people, and not separate people.  Many people who have educated themselves on many religions see the vast number of similarities of religious principles.  The people who haven’t, see much less – the surface.

Education leads a person to examine deeper than the surface.  Ignorance leads a person to believe only what they see or experience on the surface.   Education takes work.  Ignorance is easy.  This is why we find it so easy to choose ignorance.

We all think that we choose education, because we’ve been to school.  Yet, schools aren’t exactly known to teach only truth – more often it is what is accepted in that particular moment in time.  To see this, we only need to compare what specifically was taught in schools 500 years ago, and what is specifically taught in schools, today.  Then looking further, compare what is specifically taught today, to what will be taught in schools 500 years from now.  (Don’t be fooled by the argument of ignorance saying, “We don’t know what will be taught in schools 500 years from now.” Anyone who looks deeper than the surface can come up with some understanding of what the future holds by looking at how education evolves and progresses.)

Beware of Ignorance.  We all have ignorance of some type within us.  All of us.  There is only one way to move away from ignorance – to continue to look deeper into all things – including our own hearts, minds and souls – educating ourselves throughout our entire lives – learning more about our own humanness, our own self, each other, what life is really meant to be about, how to enrich our own minds and hearts, how to interact in the Earth in better ways, how to love, forgive and join with others, how to move beyond our own chosen prison bars, and how to expand ourselves and the planet we live on.

The alternative is ignorance of ourselves, of our own hearts, our own minds, our own souls and our world – hearts, minds, souls and a world which, with ignorance, will shrink and eventually die from a starvation of life and growth.

To continue to learn requires choosing to learn more.  Learning requires informing ourselves and seeking out that which is beyond our current “paradigm” of understanding.  To learn and grow requires seeking beyond the surface of what we think is both true and false to test the validity of our beliefs. To fear to go beyond our own beliefs leads to ignorance.

Everyone is inspired, enlivened, and enriched by something.  Find what inspires, enlivens and enriches.  It will lead to knowing one’s self in ever deeper ways.

“Know Thyself.”

Knowing One’s True Self

“My question is pertaining to knowing one’s true self and truth. How do we know we are making the right decisions and being true to ourselves and not just making a wrong, selfish decision? God is telling us things all the time, but how do I know which voice It is? The one that says “be true to yourself and go for what you are feeling right now ( this feeling overwhelms me)” or the one that says “are you sure you want to do this, the grass may not be greener on the other side, and people will get hurt in the process?” Its like a battle. How do I know the right way to go? Which voice is right?” M.

How do we know?  Through practice, practice, practice, practice and more practice. Life is not just a process of learning what God wants of us. It is a process of learning about our own self, in addition to common sense, understanding, and wisdom (eventually), and even with all this, learning that mistakes can be learning opportunities, also.

Think of this process, even this life as a “school-like” opportunity, not a tight-rope that one has to get perfect or else lose everything. This is why Christ is recognized as a teacher rather than a judge, jury and executioner. He is a gentle yet persistent teacher.

Our life is more like a school that gives us many, many opportunities to learn about how to live our lives with love from our hearts and what we’ve learned in our minds.

Some advice I encourage is:

  • Continue to practice having an open mind and an open heart. God can fill both of these.
  • Continue to practice the Fruits of the Spirit – like kindness, patience, mercy, forgiveness and more. God comes into this world in those moments that these are expressed.
  • When praying and meditating, pray for sincerity in one’s prayers.
  • And another: it helps to regularly ask ourselves, “Am I willing to learn, to love, to live, and to practice? Am I willing?”

The Hidden, Yet Absolute Need for Humility

Our lessons come in many ways. In fact, there is no end to when something will come into our life from which we can learn – including for psychics.

I’ve been Clairvoyant for many lifetimes. I’ve worked at this ability each opportunity it comes. Yet, the learning continues even past today.

One of the lessons I learn is humility. For me, this lesson comes via learning that what I have to say and write is not for everyone. In fact, there are many people with whom nothing I have to say is for them. This is a very difficult lesson because I know that there are words of wisdom and help that will help heal every soul. The lesson is that it is not I that can give these words to them. In fact, for some, anything and everything that would come from me would be rejected even if it were exactly what would be needed. It would be, and is, rejected for the very reason that it comes from me.

This is the humility which I am to learn – that I am not the person able to help them. I am not the person that will give them light or learning or any words or concepts which will be the key that will unlock their chains.

This is a lesson that so many of us must learn – that we are not the person that will unlock the suffering for many others. Even Christ learned this lesson of humility – that even though He knew He could help, He also knew that some people rejected and would reject everything that He would give.

When He said, “Do not throw your pearls before swine”, He didn’t see people as swine – as “less than” any other soul. He saw the consciousness of the person as being someone who would no more hear, see or understand His words in a similar way that a farm animal could – a farm animal whose main focus is to eat and have babies. A farm animal is not open to understand the words of Christ. (For the record, even farm animals respond to kindness, to love, to patience, to compassion and to mercy.)

Human beings are not farm animals. They have the choice to have an open mind and open heart – open to all the Christ has to teach. All human beings also have the choice of having a closed mind and a closed heart. As you and I are, so are all other souls. We have the potential for making any and all choices.

There is a saying, “Don’t try to teach mathematics to a turtle. It will annoy both you and the turtle.” It is a lesson in humility, to recognize when we are not able to help. Perhaps all we can offer some souls is to pray that God be with them or bless them in whatever way they need. God alone has Infinite Insight into what will help another and how best to bless them.

The 2016 Winter Weather

I haven’t put up much weather predictions because the meteorologists watching and predicting the weather for the 2016 winter have been spot on close to what I see.

Overall, I see, again, the 2016 winter being harder than last year’s. There will be heating oil and other energy shortages and the winter weather will create problems getting heating fuels into the areas.

New England
The New England states are going to be the worst hit of the states with winter weather. Their temperatures and snow levels will be equal to last year and even a little worse. This includes New Jersey, Pennsylvania (the western edge of the worst weather) and Washington, D.C. reaching into Virginia and some into Ohio.

While the meteorologists see the winter being warmer, this doesn’t mean “warm”.  This means warmer than the average temperatures have been in years past.  We’ll still see very difficult weather for Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and parts of Vermont. The snow that is happening now in these states, is serving to give people a “heads-up” and will start coming down permanently in November. I see deep snow in these states on through the winter until it starts dwindling in March (but not gone) and then starts melting in April. The last of their snow will be on the ground in May and a little in June. And as odd as it might seem, I see a possibility for more snow at the end of April or beginning of May, but it won’t be enough to add to the hardship. For these northern most states, December will bring cold, snow and some storm winds, possibly having -50F being mentioned regularly in some form in the areas. [I am not seeing the -50F temperatures at this time of looking – 12/6/15]  January will be just as bad as December, and February will equal January. However, I see fewer storms in February, but the cold and snow will stay as is.

While March will see lessening of the severity for the lower New England states, I see the higher N.E. states Winter lasting well past March and include half of the Spring months. Spring temperatures won’t arrive until May/June in the higher N.E. states.

Eastern States
I see the Atlantic states having a harder winter than they did last year, as well.  The average temperatures of the years past would be colder and so it can be said that this winter’s temperatures will average out to be warmer, (but still not warm.)  The cold winds will be their most difficult part. There will be lots and lots of ice on the roads – especially January and February.  Once they get into [December and 12/6/15] January, they’ll see snow skiing become more and more unfavorable because of the ice forming. Their time in this difficult Winter weather will begin to end at the beginning of March. It will be sudden – like turning a switch. February will be very cold, and March will be suddenly warmer -rather than a gradual warming. There a chance for a late snow storm near the end of March but with the warmer temperatures happening, it can turn into rain. Some flooding could happen in a few areas in March.

Central US States
Again, warmer than the yearly averages does not mean “warm.”  The Winter in these states will be somewhat worse than last year, but most of the worst of it will be January and February and not past the Spring date in March. North Dakota, S. Dakota, Minnesota and that area will have what seems like normal winter weather for them – a hard cold winter equaling the New England states – but again, the average temperatures will be warmer than the past yearly averages.  [There won’t be much fluctuation better or worse away from what they usually get. 12/6/15] Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky, will have winter storms with snow during December and January, but the harshness will back off some in February.  Spring will arrive in March.

The Southwest

We’re not going to see anything out of the ordinary – like a mild winter.  This will seem very much like a normal, cold, winter.  We’ll see it being much colder than last year’s mild winter.  But, not as bad as 2014 was – 2 years ago.  That doesn’t mean it won’t be cold.  It just means that it won’t be a repeat of 2014.   The Southwestern states will face many cold fronts and freezing temperatures.  For states that aren’t built for cold, this can be a very difficult time.   This winter should be considered a practice run for the winter of 2017 which currently looks like it will be extremely difficult almost equal to 2014.  Don’t block out the winter of 2014, it looks to be coming again and being forewarned is being forearmed.

The West & Northwest

California, Nevada, on up to Washington to Montana – this whole area will have a much warmer winter than the rest of the nation.  At times, the people of Colorado will wonder when winter is going to start.  There will be cold temperatures, [and storms 12/6/15] but for the most part, this will be the year of a milder winter than some of the past winters in the Western states.

For the most part, the meteorologists are forecasting some of the same things I see.  If anyone in the East decides to go west for the warmer winter, take your own water.

How to Pray for Refugees

This is one of the more difficult posts to write.  Not because of any hesitation, but because of what the topic is about.

There is a better way to pray than how some of us are praying, so far.

About Refugees, the debate rages on and as we all know, many are enraged.  We Americans, like others in our world, are people who pray, but how?  On the whole, we haven’t been starting at a good spot.  There are too many people praying “God bless America first before everyone else, if ever anyone else at all.”  There are some praying, “God, take away the freewill of others, or turn them into [people that we are not afraid.]”  There was a movie some years back with a character running for President who’s slogan was “God bless America and no one else.”

Unfortunately, real life seems to be imitating cinema art.  This is no longer a movie line, but is closer to becoming a reality of how some pray, if not already here.

These are common prayers, coming from people tired, frightened, and in pain.  Yet, are these the prayers that God asks us to offer for anyone going through disasters or horrors?

Whatever and whenever we pray for someone else, we are saying the exact same prayer for ourselves without realizing it.  What we pray for others, we are praying for ourselves.  God sees us as all in this together, equally.  What is available to one person from God, is available to all.  What is prayed for one person, is prayed for all people, without us always aware of this.

Consequently, we might consider a better way to pray than the examples above.

DIFFERENCES

We easily see the differences in our American lives and those in other nations.  We see the differences in our nationalities, our religions, our ways of life, our skin color and many other areas.  From these differences, it is easy to take on the “Us vs. Them” state of mind.  Even when there are also many similarities.

But, other options are available.  There are possibilities in the way that we can help them with our prayers.  These possibilities come from reducing our similarities down to that one common quality which we humans all share.  We only need to distill down to that one thing which ties people together, which no one can dispute and which both the “us” and the “them” share in common.

Human suffering.

Individually in our lives, and as a collective, we, Americans, know human suffering.  We know real pain and real sorrow felt deep within us.  We know fear of the coming of even more suffering, pain and sorrow.  In truth, there is no human being on the planet that doesn’t know human suffering in some form within each  individual’s self (and what it is – is known only to God.)

If we distill our prayers down to what we can pray for those suffering – we can then pray very real and helpful prayers that God asks from us.  These prayers:

“God, please help all who suffer.”

“God, please help all who are under great pain and great sorrow.”

“God, please help all of us who have lost someone we love through violence or through any means.”

“God, all of us need Your help and only You know the true and real help that each one of us needs.  Please, help in whatever ways we need.”

“God, please, help all life.”

“God, please, do not limit Your help by our beliefs, our thoughts and our feelings.”

Thank you and Amen.

World Weather Predictions

Because weather is such an important topic to so many places on the whole Earth, I’ll add what I see with regards to different areas.

Australia

Australia has been going through a tremendous drought.  I still see 2.5 more years of drought happening, but after those 2.5 years, the drought will diminish step by step from then on. So, in 2018, I see the drought taking the other turn and begin the process of lessening.  While 2 more years of drought is a problem, I do see its end.  Australia is going into its Summer temperatures right now and this year will see some rain associated with at least 1  major storm.  Look for the storm to not hit Australia directly.  This means there won’t be a lot of rain, but there will be some.

Europe

I see a general direction of the same weather patterns which Europe has had for the last 4 years.  I don’t see a lot of fluctuation or dramatic changes.  Climate Change is real and the weather patterns of the last 4-5 years are to be considered the new normal.  The nearest time period I see any dramatic change will be 2018 when I see Europe having an extremely mild winter with 2019 being the pendulum swinging back the other way.  This is far off in the future, but gives the indication that the weather patterns Europe has had recently are going to continue.

As a whole, expect lots of rain over the next 18-24 months.  More than what has been “normal” in decades past.

South Africa

This is one area where the dramatic weather extremes are going to be felt less.  I’m still seeing some extreme weather – with regards to higher than average temperatures, but not beating up the area, like is happening in Australia.  I see the extremes in weather being related to temperatures rather than being extreme storms.  I see a severe mosquito (swarming) problem coming for South Africa – worse that before.  This is related to the weather somewhat.

India

As a whole, the Climate change effect for India’s weather will be a longer rainy season.  While I see the level of intensity of the storms will be near the same level as compared to decades past, the length of the rain season will be longer and come earlier.  This does mean that there will be significant flooding in cities as well as rural areas.  India will face some disasters related to flooding.  Disease and insects will become a problem because of the flooding.  Clean drinking water will be part of the challenge for people during the floods, and this should not be a surprise.

Refugees?

When Jesus was born, He, Joseph, and Mary became refugees fleeing into Egypt to escape the threat of being killed.  The comment has been made that neither He nor Joseph and Mary were threatening to kill anyone.

In hindsight, we can hold to this comment, now, 2000 years later, because all that history is now written. But there were people who feared this child who they knew nothing about, and considered Him a very real threat – before the history that is known to us in 2015. They didn’t know what kind of threat He would be. Many considered that he would be like all the other threats and violently seek to overthrow the government since violence was how things were accomplished back then. They knew nothing about what He was really like and what He would really do. They didn’t know what kind of person He would become in their future. Even His apostles, who walked with Him every day didn’t know. One even thought He would eventually overthrow the Romans by violent means if forced to and tried to force that to happen.

The issue isn’t just “with any of the refugees that would come into the US is there a chance they would bring death into the US,” – ignoring the truth that theirs wouldn’t compare to the violence and killing we Americans do to ourselves. Death comes from all walks of life without any help from refugees. The issue is are we going to give them a chance for life.

No one can look into the hearts of another person and tell if they are good or bad – or like reality tells us – both – like all the rest of us human beings. God alone knows all of what is in a person’s heart. Can any one of us look at a stranger standing next to us, and tell which ones are the good ones or bad ones just by looking, what choices they’ll make in their full life, what they’ll choose to contribute to the US, what their future will be?

Can we look at ourselves and know what choices we’ll make tomorrow? We tell ourselves we would never kill from hatred, but we still fear and hate. We don’t live in any circumstance close that would put us in a position to know for certain. What if we lived in Nazi Germany in the 1930’s and 1940’s with our fear and hate – watching our children and family members that we love, shot or gassed – murdered – right next to us? Can any of us say we would still be our calm normal selves that we are in 2015 in the US under these circumstances or would we also find a way to kill based on our hatred of what the Nazis were doing to the person we love right in front of our face?

Look how easy it is to hate and fear someone else and then justify our own fear or hate. When we hate or fear anyone, in that same moment, we have then judged them to be bad, not based on any truth we know about the real person God alone knows them to be, but based on the fear we own and the unknown of their being a stranger, and the assumptions we come up with in our minds. We are always told to fear strangers growing up. Yet, we are those strangers also, to others, that others say to fear. Do we deserve the finger pointed at us to fear, also that we say others deserve?

It is this easy to say refugees should be feared. This easy. But, could it be that we fear more that our lives would be disrupted and changed? Can we say without refugees our lives would be safe? Or without refugees, our lives would be better? or without refugees, we won’t have certain problems? We do tell ourselves this in the back of our minds, don’t we.

The question isn’t just what will they give us, but what will we give them. We fear them bringing us death, and so it becomes easy to give them something similar first, screaming our choice “No” and washing our hands of the problem. We are now walking in the shoes of those in history, which, when we see them, we say, “I would never do that if I lived 2000 years ago.” And now we have before us a wash basin which a Roman soldier brings us with the citizens screaming their choice. The next step to “end all the citizens’ problems of fear or hate” is simply to say to the soldier, “Take Him to His fate.” turn to the refugee and say “I wash my hands of you, Jesus Christ.”

It is this easy to do it again.

What Can I Do?

There really are very specific things we can each do when seeking how to respond to all the events  happening on the planet Earth, now.

1. Pray – when we start our efforts with the seeking of a greater communication and connection with the source of wisdom, intelligence, compassion, heart, understanding, patience, loving kindness, mercy and brotherhood – God – then we have a greater chance that our efforts will be healing, helpful, will build rather than tear down, will unite rather than create schisms, and will bring about a real and lasting result.

2. Meditate – when we meditate on the highest spiritual ideals within ourselves – Loving kindness, Peace for souls, cooperation, etc., this reconnects us to our own better parts of ourselves. This also helps to raise the consciousness level available in the world, especially when millions (and there are millions) of others are also praying and meditating for the higher level expressions of Mankind’s presence in this planet.

3. Work on myself, so that I’m not reacting automatically adding to the polarization, anger, blanket accusations, prejudicial statements and hate-filled rhetoric.  Acting responsibly is the ability to respond from a place better than that place where the problem was created.  This doesn’t happen automatically, though.

4. Join with others – when we join others with like hearts and minds, our efforts expand and become stronger in exponential ways. “Where two or more are gathered in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20.  Joining with others strengthens our sense of belonging to a community, it strengthens our own resolve to keep on keeping on, and it strengthens the community as a whole.

Joining with others can also help us feel that we’re not alone in having feelings of great concern for dangerous issues and that we don’t have to face these challenges alone.

5. Pray again.

Either Hatred or Brotherhood in the World

Our generation in life is in the unique position of seeing many examples of humanity’s expressing hatred. Several generations before us witnessed slavery. The immediate generation before us witnessed the Holocaust in Europe. And today’s generation witnesses terrorism in the world.

In each of these examples, someone can easily say that religion or a particular religion is at the center of these horrors or has brought them about. But this belief is equal to saying that the world is black and white. The world is not black and white.

When slavery existed, Christianity and the Bible were used by many to justify slavery. When Hitler came to power, he said the problem with Germany, Europe and the world was with the Jews. And today, people say the cause of problems is with Islam.

But, hatred and the spreading of that hatred was at the heart of these acts of horror inflicted upon human beings. Religion was an easy target to blame, an easy cloak to hide behind, and an easy tool to usurp to justify and rationalize hatred and the spreading of this hatred.

People who have always used religion in these ways, seek to demonstrate and bring forth their hatred to incite more hatred, so that hatred will grow in the world. As human beings we have the choice of whether we will create hatred inside our hearts and minds first and foremost. After it exists in the heart is when we, as individuals, look for what will justify and rationalize it. Those that choose to hate, then, will join together with others that choose to hate.

The world is not black and white. It is also the billions of colors in between black and white. Christianity did not create slavery, but the tenets of Christianity were manipulated by many to justify the agenda of slavery. The Jewish race was not the problem in Germany, Europe or the world. But, beliefs about the Jewish people were manipulated by many to justify their agenda. Islam is not a religion of hatred, but those that hate have manipulated its tenets – as other religions have been manipulated – to serve and spread the agenda of hatred – calling to others who also hate to join in hatred.

Bringing more hate into the world, by choosing to hate any group will not heal the world of hatred. Changing what is in our own hearts and minds will – because brotherhood, compassion and recognizing Oneness of Life can also spread from person to person in the same way that hatred might. It will always depend on what we – as individuals – choose to bring forth into the world each day we’re here.

The Coming Times

I feel as though this is a common question for a lot of people right now. We are hearing so much of climate change and it all sounds so horrifying. I am scared of the future, I used to be a very optimistic fun loving person. Now my days are filled with worry and depression. I get excited about things and then feel as though there is no point to getting excited because everything is just going to be taken away.i am a young mother and I feel guilty for bringing my very young children into this world, and wonder why we are here at this time to experience such uncertainty. I know I should not live in fear as this is not healthy for myself, my family or the earth, but I’ve almost become obsessed with being consumed by dread. I have days where I know in my heart that there is hope, and that we could also be living in a very exciting time where the human race will come together and respect our mother and go good. But that feeling is always fleeting. Is there anything that we can hold onto or do to get things on a positive level? I daily bless the beautiful things I see, the trees, the ocean, the rain, the sun. I am blessed to be alive but right now I am not enjoying it in a world of such turmoil. I feel even more overwhelmed as I have just read about the post on your blog about events in 2017/18 that will be catastrophic. How can we stay positive when there is so much fear and negativity? A.

I won’t insult you by saying, “Don’t be afraid.”  We cannot get rid of fear via logic or reasoning.

But, we can face fear with ‘heart’.   We can face fear with that which is in our heart – especially if what is in our heart is love – in any form – for anyone or anything.  And the love you mentioned in your heart is the love you have for your children (and the things in life which you see each day and bless.)  So, I ask you a question.  Do you love them enough – to have courage – progressing in your life with them one day at a time?  Do you love them enough – to pray for them and you – taking life and praying one day at a time?  Do you love them enough – to try to do the best you can for their sake and yours – doing this one day at a time?  Do you love them enough to try one day at a time, and demonstrate to them how to take one day at a time so that they will learn observing your example?  I venture your answer is in the positive, and this is where the ‘positive’ begins.

If we ask ourselves any of these questions in any form at all, we are asking the right questions.  The issue at hand isn’t ‘what are we going to face in the future’.  There will always be troubles.  Human beings in this Earth have always faced challenges and troubles. Always.  Every epoch of time.

The issue is ‘what are we going to have in our hearts, when we face what life presents us.’  If we have love in our hearts in any form or for anyone or anything God has created for us, then we have that which is the greatest force of all existence.  If we have love in our hearts, we have our Creator in our hearts – the Creator who offers unending support, unending guidance, unending ingenuity, unending insight, unending readiness, unending understanding of what we go through and face, and unending willingness to be here for us – and all one day at a time.

You’re a parent.  As with almost all parents all over the world, you wonder and worry about your children and the future of the world.  As well you should.  Have pity for anyone who has children and doesn’t care about their future or the world they will live in.

Just remember, like putting on a pair of socks, we face the task doing it one foot at a time.  Like eating our daily meals, we take one bite at a time.  Like going to work, to get there, we drive one mile at a time.  Like taking in Oxygen into our lungs, we breathe one breath at a time.  Like going to school, we take it one grade at a time.  Like living our life, we face what life has to offer one day at a time.

All of us already have been learning what Christ has been teaching – “take life one day at a time – let tomorrow worry about itself.”  This is also a principle of the 12-step programs, in many other healing modalities, as well as also in the Edgar Cayce Readings – written as “Do today what is in your lap today to do.”  This guidance exists as part of all good guidance and for good reason.

Painting by Mark Wagner

“Caretakers” by artist Mark Wagner

Living in the Earth is not an easy thing to do.  We do it with family, sometimes.  We do it with friends sometimes, with support sometimes, but with God’s willingness to guide us and help us – all the time.  We’re in this world – we’re in this life – we’re in this ‘boat’ together.  When you get to feeling like the world is too much or you have to face the future and the world alone, let someone know (that includes God).  Again, we’re all in this together – whether we know what we’re doing or not.

Meanwhile, for you and for all of us, one day at a time, we can let our children know that love exists in the world – not through words, but by showing them what we have in our hearts.  A world where love exists is one of the best worlds of all in which anyone can live.  A world where love exists is a world to keep alive and growing in this love.  A world where love exists is a world very much worth living in.

God bless you and your family.

Freewill and Judgement Question

I wonder how you define freewill, I’m a bit theologically curious. I don’t think God is as non judgmental as you seem to [think], and I think you are giving him a get out of jail free card on some things. And my bias is Christian…  V.

Thanks for the comment and question. (Here’s my answer.  I’m sure others would have other answers.)

More important than my understanding of freewill and more important than our differences in our beliefs is the question, “What do we do with our beliefs?”

The world will never have “Peace on Earth, and Goodwill towards all men” if we think we all must believe the same way, because that’s not going to happen.  But, if we look at the question of what do we do with our beliefs, or to what use do we put our beliefs, or how do our own beliefs serve us?, then as we answer this or these questions, our answers will determine how we treat and relate to God, ourselves, and each other.

If we use our beliefs to strengthen our kindness, our compassion, our understanding, mercy and forgiveness, our support, our encouragement, our willingness to hold the hand of those who need a helping hand, then we will find that the world does indeed gain more “Peace on Earth and Goodwill towards all men.”

But, if we use our beliefs to condemn, to criticize, to judge, or to carry out our own vengeance, or our own bitterness, resentment, or hatred, then we will not achieve that which Christ has come to establish.  We can use our beliefs to bury people in guilt and shame.  We can use our beliefs to symbolically stone people to death, until they despair and lose all sense of hope for themselves.  We can use our beliefs to chain and imprison people in blame.   We can use our beliefs in any number of ways to bury people under the weight of the entire world, if we want to choose that.

Regardless of what God chooses to do, to judge or not judge, we can choose, within our own hearts and minds, the beliefs, acts, thoughts and feelings which we want to follow and become who we choose to be.  This is how I define freewill – making a choice on our/my own actions, our/my own feelings, our/my own thoughts, and our/my own beliefs, and then following through with them.

This may seem to some people to contradict the fact that we live on a planet that has a system of justice and imprisonment.  This is a reality on our planet, but each of us still has the choice within us as to whether we condemn another or hate another within our own heart.  Even those that commit crimes, that go through our criminal system, and that are imprisoned – these men and women are loved by someone, and most certainly by Christ,  in addition to being the recipients of Infinite Love from our Infinite God, who also offers Infinite Forgiveness, Infinite Understanding, Infinite Mercy to you, me and everyone else.

This means that everyone, no matter what we, of our own freewill have chosen to act out, or think, or believe, — everyone is already worthy enough to be loved — with no exceptions — and no one can stop this love going to another person.  We can only stop what comes to ourselves.

When we realize this is for all of us, and let the Infinite Expressions of God come forth for all of us, then we have (to use the common phrase) “accepted the keys to the kingdom” – the keys to that existence where Infinite Forgiveness, Infinite Mercy, Infinite Understanding, Infinite Patience, Infinite Compassion and Infinite Love all exist and are ours both within and without.

But, wait, there’s more.  (Sorry, it was too tempting to write that sentence.)  We don’t have to wait until we die to accept this, because of our own freewill, we can choose – within our hearts and minds today to act, to think, to relate, to treat others from that place within us where God lives and where we can draw upon Infinite Mercy, Infinite Patience, Infinite Forgiveness, Infinite Understanding and Infinite Love when dealing with each other.  This is called, “creating a Heaven on Earth.”

God has given us freewill to make our own choices.  These choices of actions, feelings, emotions, thoughts, beliefs and more, – we make these choices every minute of every day.  As humans, we are a mixed bag of all of these, including being judgmental and condemning at times.  With that, it’s not unheard of our wanting God to follow our lead and be like we are, judging who and what we judge, rather than us follow Christ’s lead – being patient, forgiving and merciful – letting go of judgement.

Thank you, again, for your comments and question.  This is how I answer, and I’m sure it is very different than many others’ answer.

Freewill, Religions and Atheism

Don’t get lost in the arguments and accusations about religions or Atheism. There are many, many people that are accusing the religion of Islam of horrors. There are many people that accuse Christianity, and there are many people accusing “any and all” religions and even the non-belief in God of being the source of the horrors we humans inflict on each other.

And don’t get confused about Atheism or the “belief in No God”. As strange as it might be to think —- we can very easily argue that Atheism is also a religion. It is a system of beliefs with its central foundation being “a relationship” or in this case – “Non-relationship with a non-God” with the only difference being that the relationship is a with a God they believe doesn’t exist. Whether Atheists believe God exists or believe God doesn’t exist isn’t the determining factor of whether Atheism is a religion. It’s the fact that there is a relationship. It’s just that in this case it’s with a deity to not-believe exists. All the tenets are still in place in the same way tenets for every “belief in a deity” based religion are in place. Atheism wouldn’t exist without the debate of whether God exists or not. Atheism centers around a God to not believe exists or to believe doesn’t exist, but it still centers around “a God” and another argument could be made for that “God” to be human beings, ourselves.

Because of all of this, we can easily argue that efforts made by atheists to change certain things related to religious references become efforts made to impose their “religion” onto others, and many times, in order to “save people from something” and in many cases, save people from other people of other religions from imposing their religion onto others.  Sound familiar?

So many *people* adhering to a certain religion say, “Don’t believe in that other religion’s God because our religion’s God is the one in which to believe.” (Notice I said – ‘people’ and not ‘religions’?) Atheism is merely saying “believe in our non-existing God.”

But, it really doesn’t matter at all, !!! whether Atheism is a religion or any of the other religions exist or not. And if you don’t read the remainder of this article, you won’t understand why it really doesn’t matter at all !!!

By itself, no religion, belief system, government system or any “system” is responsible for the horrors of mankind. Mankind and what we each – of our own freewill – choose to have in our hearts and minds, and then inflict upon others – mankind is responsible for the horrors of mankind. Religions, psychologies, philosophies, sciences, mathematics, type of government, ignorance and any and all ways of thinking in the brain, and ways of feeling in the heart, are tools which we human beings, who choose of our own freewill to have the hatred in our hearts, and violence on our minds, then put to use to further our agenda of hatred and violence. The hatred and violence doesn’t exist outside of us, it exists within us.

A person – any one of us, who has kindness in our hearts cannot have it legislated out of us. A person who is patient, gives forgiveness, shares their love, demonstrates mercy, compassion and understanding cannot have it forcefully and without permission removed from their heart by an outside force, a government or a religious organization. This is true of all of us. This person – any of us – can hold to any and all religions or belief systems and NOT bring about horrors when we choose to relate to others via this kindness, love, patience, mercy, and brotherhood.

Of our own freewill, we can choose to throw out the patience, forgiveness, love, mercy, compassion, etc from within our hearts and minds, and choose of our own free will, hatred, violence, revenge, selfishness, and self-aggrandizement instead.   No outside force or way of living can put kindness or hatred inside us or take kindness or hatred out of us.

So many times all of us, at some point or another, have done just this – of our own free will – thrown out forgiveness, tossed aside mercy or compassion. We have then justified it and rationalized these choices by using religion, philosophies, types of government, sciences, ignorance and any and all ways of thinking in the brain and feelings in the heart. The horrors of mankind don’t begin outside of us, they begin inside of us – in our own hearts and minds – of our own freewill – if we’re willing to have horrors within our hearts and minds. We then choose these horrors within us to motivate our actions towards others.

But, in the very next moment, we can change our mind.  We can then take hold of our own desire to bring kindness into the world.  We can hold onto our love for God and our love for anyone or anything, and with our freewill bring forgiveness and mercy into the world.  Of our own freewill, we can choose patience or look for understanding, or any of the other fruits of the spirit.  We can step back from our seemingly automatic bitterness and instead, be willing in our hearts to trade it for some quality which will help bring healing and peace into our relationship and our world.  In that moment that I’m talking about, we can change even our heart – if we’re willing to hold on and if we’re willing to change our hearts.

Every day, of our own freewill, we make choices that impact how we are in the world – how we relate to all other people. Each day we choose.  And regardless of what we chose yesterday, today we can change our mind and change our heart to choose better than hatred and all its horrors – if we’re willing.

Each day we choose life or death – we choose violence, hatred and revenge

or we choose kindness, love, patience, forgiveness, mercy and healing.

Hurricane Patricia and the 2nd of 3 Events

I spoke a lot about the energy of the 2nd of 3 events still needing to find a way to manifest.  What I’ve been studying and working to understand is the “how” and “what will it look like”.

It would be easy for me to jump on the band wagon and say hurricanes like Hurricane Patricia are the manifestation of this 2nd of 3 events, but I can’t and we can’t make that jump without examining the Akashic information and energy connections.

This is what I do see having potential and what we can watch for:

  1. A lot of the energy related to the 2nd of the 3 events is destined to manifest in the Atlantic area. The energy related to the 2nd of 3 events has attached itself to this area – i.e. created a vortex holding to this area through time, until the energy is rebalanced, dissolved, used up or healed.
  2. Some of the energy in the Atlantic area hasn’t yet found a channel through which to manifest, but some has which I’ll describe.
  3. Still – watch for social/political or other problems in the Venezuela area, because when energy like this doesn’t manifest through the Earth, it can manifest through people.  Venezuela is still a strong potential location for manifestation.
  4. There will be more smaller and localized natural disasters in the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, and Eastern Atlantic coastlines that are manifestations of this energy.
  5. Some of the energy will continue to be spread out in time – occurring over several years with most of it manifesting through to the end of this decade.  With this time span expanded there is also more that can be rebalanced thus making the manifested events less harmful.  (The purpose of all these events is to help raise vibrations in the Earth.  Prayer does that.  Calling out to God does that.  It’s better to raise the vibrations before the events manifest than afterwards.)
  6. Watch for a destructive natural event or a harmful human event in February or March, 2016 in this same area.  This would be an example of the energy manifesting through people via human’s freewill choices to cause a harmful/destructive act.
  7. I see the ocean bottom in the area of where Poseidia existed rising more – not surfacing, but the measured depth of that area (off the east coast of the Bahama and Bimini Islands) will become shallower.  This could take up to two years to be fulfilled.
  8. Related to this energy, I’m seeing an earthquake happening in the western Atlantic to the east of the Caribbean Sea in about 28-29 months.  Although this is an exact time frame now, this can be changed.  It will be in a deeper part of the Atlantic.
  9. All of our prayers for these areas will change things.  I’m becoming more and more aware that one of the strongest and most important messages coming from the Spirit Side of existence is that prayer changes energy, changes our lives and changes the world we live in.
  10. I still don’t see much of this energy being focused on the Eastern Coast of the US, because of its distance away from the vortex that this energy has come to create.
  11. All natural events, like disasters, have an energy source which seeks manifestation.  All of them.  The 2nd of 3 events was such a dramatic and huge amount of energy that I was able to see it as a distinct coalesced manifestation.  The very real prayers which people really did pray served to vibrate this coalesced energy in such a way as to make it into multiple smaller individual pockets of energy.
  12. Hurricane Patricia – as hard as it may be to believe this, I see Hurricane Patricia’s source energy coming from the consciousness of hatred and violence from the Mayans and others in the ancient area, beginning about 6000 years ago to about 2500 years ago.  There was much hatred in the peoples which led to vengeful and destructive warring on others and the disregard of human life leading to human sacrifice.  This consciousness of violent hatred coalesced and the Karmic processes of “returning to where it came from” then contributed to the forming of this hurricane here in 2015.  (I should have a “Ripley’s Believe It or Not” category.)  That’s all I’m going to say about this.

I’m ready for questions, if anyone has any.
