Politics and Religion and Bears – Oh, My!

How many of you reading this blog, think that everyone else reading this blog thinks, feels, and votes politically, the same way that you do? are probably in the same camp? are with you on your side? How many? Go ahead and raise your hands. Okay… 1… 2 … 5… 12…

Now step back – how many of any group of us believe that everyone else reading this blog – or in any group we belong to, church we go to, school we attend or organization we are involved with – believe the same way we do about politics, political parties and our elected officials? Of course the answer is “No one thinks that everyone believes, thinks, feels and VOTES – all of these – the same way we do. Similar – sometimes yes, but exactly the same?  God, no.

The diversity of feelings, thoughts, beliefs about politics, political parties, and voting is truly, truly diverse, even among like-minded people.

Yet, we all gather together and attend our own church together. We all gather together and attend school, go to work, support organizations, and read this blog (well, maybe not gathered together to read the blog.)  We all still gather together in our groups, and families, and jobs and etc. etc.  Usually, we gather together, because we don’t talk politics and religion.

(Speaking politically about the different political parties, or different churches or different religions, I say, if you want to rant and rave, and rage against the political and religious machines, go ahead.)

It’s just that I’m reminded that Jesus never once spoke out against the Roman government or Roman officials, who were ruling the area. Jesus never spoke out against any government or government officials.  Nor did he speak out against the Roman religion or the Samaritan religion or the Gentiles’ religions. Christ never spoke out against the established forces and religions of the day.

What Jesus called the Romans was “Brothers”, as in “We are all brothers and sisters.”  Jesus had Roman followers.  John the Baptist did the same – he called the Romans brothers and had many Romans, even soldiers, come to be baptized – and they stayed Roman soldiers afterwards.  John’s instructions to the Romans were be honest with each other – don’t mistreat one another. Do your jobs with respect for others.

Jesus’ directive was “Follow Me.” And we follow someone by walking on the path they walk on. Jesus walked the path of Loving kindness. He walked the path of knowing everyone was His brother and sister. He walked the path of understanding, patience, forgiveness, tolerance, and mercy. He walked the path of helping one another. He walked the path of brotherhood.

Jesus never condemned, criticized or spoke out against anyone, …

except hypocrites and those that buried the people with religious condemnation “from above.”

Jesus never condemned other religions, but we do. Jesus never condemned other political affiliations, but we do. Christ never spoke out against anyone who was different or from a culture or group that was different from his own. He never spoke out against Gays, Lesbians, or Transgendered and they existed then. Jesus never condemned prostitutes, alcoholics, or any subgroup or subculture in society, but we do. Christ never condemned other ethnic groups, immigrants, “illegal aliens,” people from other nations….

but we do.

Jesus Christ never condemned any other group – except hypocrites – those that said one thing but lived another – those that easily condemned others with their message “if you’re not like me, you’re evil” or “wrong” or “condemned” or etc…., or “if you don’t live as I think you should, believing as I think you should, you’re WRONG!”… or “if you don’t live as I tell you to, you’re condemned in the eyes of God.”  How many of us have heard these messages expressed?  How many of us have been on the receiving end of these messages?  (Have any of us said these messages?)

Jesus Christ opened His arms for everyone, every culture, every subculture, every group, every subgroup, every organization, every political party, every religion, every everything, saying ‘Follow me on this path of Love, Kindness, Understanding, Patience, Mercy, and Forgiveness.’ ‘Follow me on this path I walk of Charity, of Brotherhood, of Tolerance, of Compassion, or Cooperation, of Humbleness, and Long-Suffering.’ ‘Follow me on this path I walk of knowing and seeing everyone being equal and deserving of God’s Infinite Love in the Infinite Eyes of God, and of everyone being brothers and sisters – children to Our Creator Father/Mother God – the God of all and the source of all Love, all Compassion, all Mercy, all Patience, all Forgiveness, all Acceptance and all Kindness.’

Jesus opened His arms for everyone that wants Love, Kindness, Mercy, Forgiveness, Tolerance, etc, and He still does. His only request is that we then share these things with each other, ….

and, I guess, patience and long-suffering with those that do speak “condemnation” (which I will admit absolutely takes God’s help to do, sometimes.)

Attacks and Attackers Part 2: Karma

“If we meet insults, contention or other unpleasant experiences, it is not the fault of the aggressor, but actually our own. The reason is that they are simply a manifestation of our heart. If we have no roots or thoughts of contention or insulting speech in our heart, this would not happen. Thus, by wiping away our greed, hatred or ego with kindness, virtue and forgiveness, we eradicate our past/current evil karma and habits and change the outside for the better.” Bc

What a good opening to present Part 2.

How you’ve written your comment could potentially be confusing, so I want to use this as a way to write about Karma.

To me, it’s not quite as simple as you’re presenting – with respect to responsibility and Karma.  Remember, everyone has freewill to decide their own thoughts, feelings, actions, behaviors, beliefs, etc.  This means that we are not responsible for others’ actions – those others who have freewill.  We are all responsible for our own steps we take on our path.  This means we are all responsible for our own thoughts, our own feelings, our own behaviors and more.

To try to explain Karma would be daunting, but this much I’ll offer.  When we throw a pebble into a lake, the ripples go out in all directions.  As the ripples go out, some ripples then also return back to the thrower of the pebble.  In effect, we have created the ripple that returns back to ourselves.

When we create an experience within life for someone else – for that person to go through – we are also creating the same experience for ourselves – and as hard as this is to fathom – we are creating this experience for all life in all existences – even for God, Himself, to experience.  The same ripple must then also return home.

Part of the experience we have as human beings is that when we receive back the experiences of life, we don’t remember throwing the pebble – creating the experience.  We blame others for what we experience or we (most of the time) erroneously blame the person we are today for what we experience.  As humans, our memories tend not to include soul memories of past lives and past experiences.  Many times this is a merciful thing for us, helping us to start over without remembering the person we were back then.

The soul or the Higher Consciousness of each human being remembers, however.  In time, we will come to understand how each experience we have in life is an experience which we helped to create for ourselves and others.  In addition, what experiences we create in the lives of others now – experiences which even God is touched by – will be what our path will include further down the way.  This includes whether we, of our own freewill, choose to attack with bitterness and vengeance, or to heal with understanding, mercy, and compassion.

What this means of Karma is that there is no judgement with karma.  There is no censure or condemnation.  There is no punishment with Karma.  Karma is simply the pebble’s ripple which has arrived back to where it started.

But, that’s not all.  The healing of “karma”, or rather the healing of experiences can happen by raising the vibrations of the “ripple”, which actually exists in time, space, and consciousness.  Since all things are vibration, the addition of higher vibration actions can affect the lower vibrations actions.  What is it that brings forth higher vibrations? Prayer, meditation, Loving kindness, forgiveness, patience, mercy, understanding, compassion, cooperation, and the like.  Each of these fruits of the spirit when brought forth into the world for another to experience opens the doors for the God Consciousness to be present in the moment.  The God Consciousness is Love and is the Highest of all High vibrations.  This vibration affects all vibrations/events/experiences with which it is present.

So, the bringing forth of God Consciousness through prayer, meditation and demonstrating the fruits of the spirit raises the vibration of the ripple.  This raised combination of vibrations goes out to all existence, and also returns back to us.  While sometimes the ripple vibration that goes out also comes back unchanged, with the presence of God, the presence of Love, kindness, mercy, etc, the ripple vibration is changed and returns in a higher vibration form.

The purpose of Karma is to raise vibrations to the level of God Consciousness – Love.   With this done, Karma is absorbed into the experience of understanding and awareness.  This is why prayer can help change human experiences.  This is also why mercy, kindness, cooperation, etc, can help change human experiences.

Forgiveness and Mercy

When we extend forgiveness and mercy, the person receiving it is changed. Maybe this change is not in a way that we immediately notice, but the act of forgiveness and mercy cannot happen without our cooperating with the presence of God.

This presence of God touching another person in the form of forgiveness and mercy or any other fruit of the spirit, has an effect. Again, this effect isn’t necessarily something we’re going to consciously witness.  (While on Earth, it helps to let go of the need to witness our own efforts on behalf of another take root in that person.)

Need proof? We can take a look at our own life, and our own past lives. Who has extended forgiveness and mercy to us? When have we been touched by another’s bringing forth their connection to Infinite Forgiveness for our sake?  We can take a look at where we are in our spiritual path and our inner healing. We also have been forgiven and shown mercy – by One and/or by many. This has made an impact on our self, as well. We are the proof that being forgiven and being shown mercy have an effect on the soul receiving this forgiveness and mercy. We are where we are today because of forgiveness and mercy helping us to where we are. We are healing inwardly, because we have received forgiveness and been shown mercy.

Why is this all true? Because forgiveness and mercy are aspects of Love. All souls are affected by love. All life is affected by love.  Not in our own time requirements, but in God’s.  It may not be immediately noticeable to us how others are affected – the others which we haven’t yet forgiven or shown mercy to, but the source of Love and the receiver of Love notice it on their soul level.

When we’re deep in darkness, a small touch of forgiveness and mercy becomes a big thing. A seemingly small amount of kindness and light, shine out like beacons, when we’re steeped in the darkness we once created and chose. The touch of the hand of forgiveness and mercy becomes like a drink of clear water, when all we had before was sludge, (because all we gave to others was sludge.)

When we extend forgiveness and mercy, the one we extend it towards, in some way is helped, in some portion is healed, in some part is changed.

Imagine a world where everyone went around forgiving and giving mercy to everyone else. There would be a greater presence of Infinite Forgiveness and Infinite Mercy in the world. Everyone would be touched by the healing hand of Infinite Love.  As individuals, we can start creating this world, by forgiving and showing mercy to those who need forgiveness and mercy in our lives – those who desperately thirst for that clear glass of healing Infinite Water called Infinite Love.

“For Religious Reasons”

The phrase “For religious reasons” (or “protection”) is getting used by many. We hear of decisions and behaviors, and then hear these acts are done “for religious reasons.”

Christ tells of a story related to this and related to His comment, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”, when asked “Who is our neighbor?”

Luke 10:30 – And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.

31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.

33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbor unto him that fell among the thieves?

37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

The Samaritan didn’t act “for religious reasons” but showed mercy. The priest and Levite who passed the injured guy by, in effect were demonstrating actions taken “for religious reasons,” and chose not to help him.

Christ’s life wasn’t what it was “for religious reasons”. Christ’s life wasn’t about honoring “the religion”, or acting “for religious reasons”. His decisions and actions were regardless of “the religious reasons” because God (the source of mercy, forgiveness, Loving kindness, and understanding) is beyond religions. Religions are simply established ways of believing, which mankind has assembled together in hopes of learning ever more.

We humans go to war for religious reasons, and have done so for centuries if not millennium. Mankind has innumerable examples throughout recorded history of the willingness to kill one another for religious reasons. ISIL kills for religious reasons.

For centuries and millennium, people have been acting against one another “for religious reasons”. When we decide to act to separate ourselves from an act of good will or mercy, and instead act to protect our own sense of our religious beliefs, we are placing our own sense of our self before our neighbor’s well being. No one has ever been heard saying, “for reasons of compassion and oneness, I’m going to distance myself from helping another human being.”

When we decide to act “for religious reasons”, we’re not necessarily acting for the best reasons, sometimes we’re acting for the worst reasons as if we were to say, “God, it’s more important for me to go to heaven than for me to help someone else.” Religions are not higher than loving kindness, or patience, or understanding. Religions are not greater than God. Religions are meant to help us to come to know God.

We have even made religion a god, if that is possible to do. We have made our beliefs into our God – holding our beliefs to be more important than oneness and mercy towards our neighbor. Christ’s message all along has been that our Oneness with God is paramount and our Oneness with one another (our neighbor) is even more important than our beliefs.

By saying, ‘I’m choosing this for religious reasons,’ we’re not saying, ‘I’m doing this for forgiveness reasons.’ It’s not the same. I’ve never heard anyone who said “for religious reasons” also say, “I’m doing this for patience reasons, or reasons of loving kindness, or reasons of compassion or brotherhood.”

The actions of the Samaritan spoke loudly, “I’m doing this for reasons of compassion.”

Jesus chose to live his entire life, not “for religious reasons” but “for reasons of God’s Love”.

Darkness and Light

Darkness was always there ….and will be in the future ….Yesterday Hitler and Stalin, today ISIS. There are always two polarities needed to make whole. Night and day, plus and minus, yin and yang and so on ….The darkness is needed so we can see there is light out there. If there would be no darkness (no negativity) we will not be able even to see (be aware) that there is light out there. Hitler an ISIS …they are needed to give us opportunity to be aware of opposite: light, sun, love peace, kindness, help ect. With such “negative groups” as they are, world is changing faster for the better (towards the new better world). If there was no Hitler who would even bother to make any important change in the world. There would be no moving forward. But: standstill is not god for the world. Everything in our Universe is based on the movement.

So see: every war had a deeper purpose for the world then it seems: after each war in the past necessary changes has been quicker and much bigger then would be if there was non. Wars push mankind forward when it needed so. So this way negativity gets its purpose. Love.  Z

This is a common view of “Light and Darkness”, but if one were to follow further down the line of this belief they’d find a view that negates free will.  I’ll explain.  Let’s look at the “Light and Darkness” from another direction – the point of view of light and darkness being vibration levels on a spectrum of consciousness instead of names assigned to specific unchangeable states.

Darkness isn’t a substance of itself.  Instead, we name the states of lower vibration “darkness.”  We name the states of higher vibration, “Light”.  Both of these and everywhere in between and outside of these chosen positions are levels on a spectrum of vibration.

In our universe and beyond all known universal existence, all is vibration – everything. “Darkness” and “Light” are labels of two characteristics/levels of vibration.  We’ve given different states of vibration names in order to help us convey the concepts that we talk about.  This highest vibration level we call ‘light’.  Acts, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are further from this highest vibration – from this ‘light’ – are lower vibrations and we call these lower vibrations “dark”.

God Consciousness which is the Consciousness of Infinite Oneness, Infinite Awareness, Infinite and Pure Love, Infinite and Pure Patience, Forgiveness, Understanding, Mercy, Kindness, etc. is the highest vibration.

In the same way that you and I as spiritual/human beings have consciousness and in the same way that all living things have consciousness at some level, this Highest Vibration has consciousness, and the Consciousness is the vibration level of Infinite Existence. This (also named) Infinite Love is the vibration of the Oneness of all Life.  These are not just concepts to bounce around philosophically, but the substance of existence.  (Love isn’t just a feeling, it is the vibration of the highest existence, but that’s for another article.)

But, these concepts of the Infinite are hard to understand for us, because as humans, we have not been able to completely understand Infinite anything.  We can have subjective experiences which last a moment in time, and possibly give us a glimpse of that which is way beyond our self concepts.  Yet, when we try and convey that to others who have no equal frame of reference, it becomes all but impossible for us humans to convey, especially using physical, 3-dimensional examples.

So we use the terms to try to convey different aspects of, yes – freewill choices which we make.  This is what we’re describing here – freewill choices which we make and which we make manifest – manifesting physically at a certain vibrational spectrum.  And I’ll add that all the terms and languages which we use fall short in conveying God Consciousness/Love Consciousness/Infinite Consciousness/Infinite Vibration/Love Vibration/God Vibration.  See?

What we term “darkness” is the freewill manifestation of our efforts to act separate from God and manifesting at a certain level of vibration.  There is no true separation from the vibration that is God, but there is a perception of separation via the act of freewill choosing to manifest lower vibration states of mind/heart – that being hatred, selfishness, bitterness, violence, vengeance, etc. etc.

If it’s still not that understandable without some study, don’t worry about it.  We have Infinite Eternity to come to study, learn and understand the All of Infinite Existence.

On a related note: the question isn’t really whether darkness and light are real unto themselves, the question becomes which of our own freewill actions do we choose to manifest – the actions of “darkness” or rather lower vibrations, also called “Separation from God”, or do we choose of our own freewill to manifest higher vibrational actions – called “Light” of “Oneness with God”- these being kindness, patience, understanding, unselfishness.

If we choose of our own freewill, to bring forth actions of lower vibrations – actions far from Love of any kind – actions which express hatred, selfishness, self-centeredness, bitterness, vengeance or separation and the like, we are perceiving that we can and therefore, are “pushing ourselves” as far away from the Love vibration that we can.  In effect, we are lowering our vibration – which we call “choosing darkness”.

So, to say we “HAVE TO HAVE” darkness is like saying, of our own freewill, we HAVE to choose lower vibration actions and behavior.  In turn, it is a contradiction of freewill to say some of us have no freewill with regards to choosing to manifest lower or higher vibration actions.

*******
And yet there is more.  In the process of deciding what we choose of our own freewill to manifest in the world, higher vibrations or lower vibrations, we are creating an experience of a certain level of vibration for others and ourselves.  This is a true act of creation coming from our own aspect of God Consciousness that is us individually.  However, it comes forth filtered through all our thoughts, feelings, motivations, ideas, beliefs, actions, past, present, future, subconscious, superconscious, etc, and manifests as an experience of a certain vibratory level, not just for others to experience, but for ourselves to experience eventually, as well.  In essence, we create our own experiences.  In addition, because we are part and parcel of the God Consciousness, when we act separately from God Consciousness, we are acting separately from ourselves – which in turn causes all sorts of internal problems which manifest as illnesses and worse.  (A topic for another article.)

So, you see, “darkness” is not a thing or something that must be chosen by someone to fulfill, but rather a vibrational manifestation from the illusion of separation via the attempt to separate (via our perceptions) from the Highest vibration of God Consciousness – also called Infinite Light.

*******

I can try to explain it in another way.  For example, with God Consciousness being Infinite and therefore Infinite Light, nothing exists that is not God Consciousness/Infinite Light.  But, of our own freewill, we choose the illusion of separation from the Infinite.  And therefore we can choose to perceive “a separation” of sorts that contributes to the experiences of darkness.  But at no time do we separate from Infinite Vibration.  And if we’ve studied the definition of Infinite, then by the very definition of Infinite, nothing outside the Infinite exists separate from the Infinite.  All is a part of the Infinite, including the freewill choice to perceive “darkness” as a thing.

So, All is awaiting us on this journey to Infinite Understanding which we’ll accomplish in Infinite Time, also called Eternity.

******
PS.  And then there is the role “Judgement” has in all this.

I’m ready for questions.

“Problems arise when we think our perspective and understanding of anything in life is completed.” (The Rainbow Cards, ©, 1997-2015, Jodie Senkyrik)

Creating Experiences

We are the authors of all the experiences which we go through – as souls. We won’t see this or understand how this can be if we only look at this one life as being all there is to human/soul existance on the Earth. However, we are the authors of all the experiences which we go through.

Consider this more in terms of eternity – the eternal past and the eternal present. If we go back into the past of our soul (this life and beyond this life) we will find when we wrote the beginning of the story of each particular experience. For example, our parents – very few people DON’T have issues with parents, when perceived from the human level of perception. But, looking from the soul’s perspective, one can say that we created or wrote the script in which our parents acted out the parts.

Yes, our parents had and/or have their issues, and in “acting out the parts” they helped solidify our issues. But, if they had chosen to not “act out” those parts, we still would have our script out there ready for someone to come into our life at some time to “act out” the parts that tie into our issues.

So, in actuality, we have issues, imbalances, patterns in our psyche, (whatever we want to call them) within us. We have them when entering into our life, and these issues are of our own creation  during some point within our soul’s existence – including possibly in previous human lives, (but not always a human life as the beginning source.)

Hence, we can see that we are the authors of our own experiences. We created the circumstances by acting out in some other time and place towards someone or something else. This started the ripple that went out into the entire infinite universe for all life to be on the receiving end of that experience in some fashion, … including ourselves. And so the experience of being slapped, or killed, or betrayed, or shunned, or hated, or beaten, … or the experiences of being loved, or welcomed, or accepted, or cared for, or being shown mercy, or forgiven, or being shown patience… all of these experiences are in our lives because we created them for another person or persons, in our past and the ripple of that creation then went out into the entire infinite universe for all to be on the receiving end of that experience in some fashion, … including ourselves.

While this may set the stage for understanding, this by no means is the end of the story of the purpose of the return of these experiences. The purpose of the return of these experiences – the experiences which we created for others to receive from us – is for us to find a different response and create a different experience for others. It is for us to create an experience of response to other persons that comes from the place within that God resides.

It is for us to express this God that resides within our own heart via the fruits of the Spirit. You’ve read this here before. When we respond to experiences with patience or long suffering, kindness or understanding, cooperation or forgiveness, or mercy, or letting go of our judgement/criticism or any of the other Fruits of the Spirit, whether towards others or even towards ourselves – we are bringing a real balance back to our own consciousness.

So many times we don’t bother responding from our heart. Or we give up “this one time.” Or we decide it’s too hard or too late or unnecessary or any other number of our very clever reasons not to use effort to let God guide us in our hearts. (I think of the “given up” notion more for myself.) We may continue the status quo once again creating an experience of pain and suffering for others.

However, in that moment of instant willingness and freewill, when we bring forth mercy or patience, etc, we bring God back into our creating, and healing begins, balance begins, and resolution happens. The new healing and balance with the energy and consciousness of forgiveness or mercy or any of the F’s of the Spirit then becomes the experience we create for others and send out into the infinite universe. In time, again, because creation is happening, we create this for all, including ourselves and we will be on the receiving end of what we create for others.

As we do for others, we do for ourselves. The experience we create for others to experience, we create for ourselves to experience. Some call this Karma. Some call this Creation. It is both. But, it is not law without it also being a living process happening within all life.

******

PS. A World of Peace won’t happen without forgiveness, mercy, and all the Fruits of the Spirit. It is these that bring about the world of Peace. How? As individuals. Once again, if we, as an individual, create a World of Peace for another person or being, we are creating for all. And remember, patience is one of the Fruits of the Spirit, also. It takes patience to create a new world. Just ask Christ.

Airplane Disaster question

“What do you make of all the plane crashes and disappearances that have been happening since earlier in 2014? It’s seeming to be more and more common for planes to be crashing than it ever has. Thoughts? Insights?” R.

The focus is not about “events”, but about life.  These things and things like these remind us that life is fleeting and can change in one second.  Someone can be in our life one MOMENT sharing their life with us, and us sharing our life with them, yet in the next MOMENT, gone instantly, neither of us, ever again able to share our lives.

Take the MOMENT to show someone your love, so that if that MOMENT comes when they are gone, at least, in that MOMENT they’ll know they are loved.

The Hubble Telescope and all the future telescopes will indeed show us the scope of the universe and so much of what is in the Universe.

We may find that we share knowing that which all the life in the Universe may know, also.  We may find that there is one thing that we share with the life in all the super clusters of galaxies, local clusters of galaxies, all the stars and planets in all the billions of galaxies – and that is what is in front of our nose that we keep dismissing or forgetting –

and this is that the very best thing in all the Universe and all the galaxies and all the solar systems and all the planets –

and that so many of the different life forms on these other worlds might know also –

and this thing that we find and that we know and that they may find or they may know –

and which we have here on Earth and that exists in all the Universe and all other possible universes –

the very best thing of all life – in all locations – on all planets – in all galaxies – and in all universes –

that which has no equal and all other things are pale when compared to –

the single best thing of all universes –

is Love.

Here, there, and everywhere.

Logic and God

Logic and debates can never prove the existence or non-existence of God.  The foundation of an experience of God is not a “mind” experience and will never be a “mind” experience.  God exists centered in the heart, and is only recognized through the heart.

Looking at it metaphysically, we can offer the same argument put forth about Love.  How do we prove Love?  This is an equally valid question when asked to prove the existence of God.

The experience of Love is an inner experience.  It is subjective, confusing, a struggle and full of questions.  But, when the day comes that we know that we love someone or someones, we know it from a place of “knowing” from which we alone can be sure. No one else in the world can experience our love for another from inside of us.  No one else in the world can experience our love for another in any way, except from outside of us looking in.

The experience of God is exactly like that.  We experience God solely within ourselves – and only we, our self, are witness to this inner experience.  In truth, no one can have an experience of God through someone else’s mind, someone else’s heart, and someone else’s soul.

Ultimately, the decisions we have related to God’s existence, are for each individual alone to address.  But, it needs to be this way.  The decisions and questions related to a belief or experience of God are the decisions and questions of “Willingness.”  Only in our own hearts do we decide what we are willing to do in our life – what we’re willing to think, willing to feel, willing to believe, and willing to …. everything else.  In the same way, only within our own selves do we decide what we’re willing to not think, not feel, not believe, and not…. everything else.

This is why logic isn’t what convinces anyone to love another, and logic isn’t what convinces anyone to believe in God.

Love and Psychic Ability

So many believe that psychic ability is fake.  Many want to believe that psychic ability is fake, and for many hundreds of reasons.

Countless times people have said, “Prove it.”  and they’ve said this when they know deep down inside themselves that there is no physical proof that exists that would convince them that a non-physical event is real.

Psychic ability isn’t an exercise in logically deciding if it is a real experience based on this world’s evidence.  Logic never decides if something is a real experience.  Logic doesn’t determine whether any experience is real or not, understood or not, felt or not, or whether it happened or not.

Love is the same way.  Psychic ability happens within the mental realm but doesn’t get it’s birth in the mental realm (mind.)  Love is like that.  When we feel love, we use our mind to recognize the feeling experience.  But, the mind does not give birth to love.  As the Edgar Cayce readings say, “Mind is the builder” using that which it is given.

But, this is okay.  This is as it should be.  Psychic ability isn’t just of the soul and isn’t just of the mind.  It’s also of the heart.  So providing mental or physical proof is a useless experience to any of us who want to believe psychic ability isn’t real.  Only until we experience it ourselves, do we begin to understand.

And only if we’re open minded, would we have a chance to experience it ourselves.

And only if we choose to become more open-hearted, would we develop more of an open mind.

And only if we want to experience and know love, might we choose to become more openhearted.    (After all, we won’t love or experience love by closing our hearts.)

Love has that way of opening us to many, many, many, many, many things, doesn’t it?  The heart is very much part of the psychic experience.  Loving takes us beyond our self connecting us to others, which is exactly what psychic ability is.  It takes us beyond our self connecting us to others in ways that are left to experience but not necessarily logically.
