Update on “2018: Looking Ahead and Going Within”

Some attendees desire to come in to Camp Capers Feb. 10th, Saturday afternoon staying overnight instead of arriving early Sunday morning – Feb 11th. We still have the Health Services rooms available for this event plus the cabin bunkhouses. The Lodge (hotel-like) rooms and the Retreat House are reserved by another group on Saturday night.

So, I’d like to offer that if anyone would like to come in Saturday late afternoon, staying overnight, I’m willing to come in ALSO Saturday afternoon, Feb 10th and add a Saturday evening portion to the program. I would want at least 5 more people to come in Saturday evening to stay overnight. With this change, registration and check-in is from 5pm to 6pm. As of right now, we have 2 more Health Services rooms housing up to 2 persons each, (4 total) $62 if only 1 person or $52/person if there are 2. But then the remaining would be in the cabin/bunkhouses at $31/person. As always, the rooms are a 1st come/1st serve basis.

Saturday and Sunday morning meals will be available, without our needing a minimum number of attendees (12 people minimum). The Saturday, Feb 10th dinner is scheduled at 6:30pm (the other group decided). The breakfast is at 8:30am (the other group decided.)

If we get at least 5 more people, the event registration for overnight guests would be 5-6pm at Camp Capers on Saturday, Feb 10th. The dinner and breakfast would then be an additional option at $15/person for dinner and $10/person for breakfast.  Everyone’s lunch on Sunday is $13.

Even if we get 5 more, for anyone still only wanting to attend Sunday, and arriving in the morning, then I’ll have registration before breakfast, flexibly from 8-8:30am at the office front patio.

The tuition for 2-days is $40. (There would then be an additional room rental fee.) The tuition for Sunday only is $31 with Camp Capers charging a $16 “day use” fee.

As always, if you wish to pay by check, you can pay when you arrive, and it is still a good idea to register beforehand as soon as you know. C.C. needs to prepare many days before for the number of people eating any of the meals.

If you wish to pay by credit card, you can use the yellow “Buy Now” button, below.

2018: Looking Ahead, Going Within reboot

Hello Everyone
I want to let everyone know that I’m rescheduling the “2018: Looking Forward, Going Within” retreat. I’m also trimming it to a 1-day event. This will be Sunday, Feb 11, 2018. I know this is different than the overnight event which I had hoped we could do at Camp Capers.

I have been asking within on how to move forward with this event (and even IF I should move forward.) I always get the guidance to “Yes, go with it.” But this time I felt my guidance was to go with a 1 day event – no overnight – begin and end on the same day. I know some of you who would have been driving a long distance won’t attend for this reason. I can only say that I hope you’ll feel it is worthwhile.

The itinerary will be
8am-9am: arrive and register
9am – noon: program with some freetime and breaks
noon -1:30pm: lunch and freetime
1:30 – 5pm: program with some freetime and breaks

We will have 2 30-minute meditations: 10-10:30am (joining with others around the world)
2:30-3pm – 12 Chakra guided meditation (times could be adjusted as needed)

Each presentation time will focus on presenting what I see as potential futures, steps we can take to change the futures, steps we can take to prepare for the futures, the inner work which will help us, and then deepening our understanding of the principles and processes at work in the world which we witness but don’t readily understand. Bring your questions and personal stories that you’d like to share.

The morning time frame will be 3 hours including rest, break, meditation and presentations. Lunch will be 90 minutes to give time to eat and check out the place.
The afternoon time frame will be 3 1/2 hours including rest, break, meditation and presentations.

The fees are as follows
$16 Camp Caper attendance fee
$31 tuition
$13 if you want to eat lunch at Camp Capers (optional)
Total $60 (includes lunch)

If anyone would like to attend, but would then want to stay over Sunday night at Camp Capers, arrangements can be made.

Again, if you’d like to attend and pay by credit card, you can use the “Buy Now” button below. If you’d like to attend but pay by check or cash, you may pay when you arrive.

The flexible deadline for letting me know if you’re attending (for me to turn in the number of people eating lunch at Camp Capers) is January 29, 2018.

I welcome all of you, and know that this is a change from the original event.

If it helps any, Camp Capers is a 30 minute drive from San Antonio (depending on where you are.) It is 45 minutes from Blanco, TX. About 90 minutes from Austin.

I did seek guidance and did examine why I would be supported to offer the original event, then set it up, only to have the weather affect it – causing me to postpone and reschedule. What I saw and still see is the message and information stating – This process serves to demonstrate again that the time is now when the weather will disrupt people’s lives more and more – moving people away from that which was considered normal and readily able to be handled. The weather will move people to a point requiring people to learn new ways to adapt to the weather which will continue to “worsen” (“worsen” when compared to the past.) This is one example of disrupting weather and there are more weather problems to come.

I still like the 24-hour scenario of offering 1-night overnight retreats. Yet, I don’t want to compete with the Fall Mo Ranch retreat and the “Palestine” Spring retreat. If I continue at Camp Capers, some of these may happen on Sunday/Mondays or Friday/Saturdays, or perhaps during 2 weekdays. This is because Camp Capers is very popular for weekends.

God bless you all and have a safe January.

Postponed: New Year’s Eve 24-hour Retreat – “2018: Looking Ahead, Going Within”

Due to worsening weather and a possibility of freezing rain in some parts of central Texas causing possible dangerous driving conditions, and other potential problems, I’m postponing this retreat until a later date. Some of our attendees have long distances to drive. Attending a retreat should not be an endurance test or a gauntlet…. (and for the most part ‘yes’, but I was still hoping.)

2018: Looking Ahead, Going Within
Dec 31, 2017 to Jan 1, 2018:

From Sunday morning, Dec. 31, 2017 to Monday afternoon, Jan 1, 2017, please join myself and others gathering for the purpose of discussion and meditation for the new year – 2018.  Many happenings are being foreseen for 2018 as well as the future years, and I will offer several sessions discussing this. We will also have silent and guided meditations including a meditation joining others around the world.  We will bring in higher energy to help begin 2018.

“2018: Looking Ahead, Going Within” is a smaller ‘24-hour’ event.  Hopefully, it can be the 1st event of some small, quick, and easy-access events.  This event has one overnight.  The sleeping over for one night allows for a later Q&A session, group gatherings, and planning a midnight meditation (Edgar Cayce recommended 2am being the ideal time, but that’s hard to do.)  For those interested, overnight dream incubation covering 2018 will be included.  Discussion of dreams will happen the 2nd day.  (Sharing a dream is up to the dreamer and never required.)

24 hours is quick.  Because of this, Camp Capers costs (for meals and overnight) can be minimal with easy access to San Antonio, Austin, Blanco, Kerrville, Fredericksburg and nearby areas.  Still, the concentration of the program might make the time intense.  Because it is shorter, we can relax some, but we will still have a scheduled itinerary.  In addition, if another person would like to present something about 2018 at this 1st event, please come forth.  So, there are possibilities.

Registration deadline has passed, but it’s still possible to register and attend.  To register, send an email to me at jodie.1@earthlink.net.  I need the number of people, the number of people per meals each desires, and your choice of rooms/beds.  By Dec 15th, Camp Capers required (A) the best estimate for the number of people for each meal, ( B) the best estimate for the number of each rooms/beds.  Credit cards can only be accepted through this blog Paypal button below, and will not be accepted at the door.  Checks, Money Orders or cash can be paid when you arrive.  To register, send an email with your information to jodie.1@earthlink.net.  To pay by credit card, please use this button:

The Button will lead you to pay through Paypal, and you do not need a Paypal account. You’ll see the Paypal login page, BUT scroll down and you’ll see the Credit Card payment link.  The Paypal Link page does not itemize the fees. Insert the total amount of your payment.

Information needed in email:
1.    Overnight? Or 1-day?    [$40 overnight or $25/day]
2.    Which room you prefer?  If all the H.S. rooms are taken, you’ll be assigned into a bunkhouse. [Health Services rooms (4 rooms total) with 2 single beds per room @ $62/$52 or the Bunkhouses with many beds/room @ $31]  (When the day comes, there might be a few of the Lodge rooms available at $83/$72.  I’ll let you know when you arrive.)
3.    Which meals you want?   [Lu-$13, Di-$15, Br-$10, Lu-$13]
No one will be turned away at the door for not registering beforehand, but IT SURE HELPS IF YOU DO, (so we can give Camp Capers office an accurate number of people to prepare for.)
