What would God say about the Charlie Kirk situation? As well as the Charlotte, NC stabbing situation? M.
Hi Moses,
You don’t need me in order for you to find out what God would say about these events. You, yourself, can talk to Him through your prayers. Ask your questions of Him. Then have your mind and your heart open to an answer that will come if you are WILLING to listen and wait.
Why be willing? Because if you’re not willing, that’s like trying to open a door that is locked solid from within. The person who is unwilling is the person who chooses to not listen and God does not force Himself/Herself onto anyone. Why listen? Because truly listening, is an inner act of allowing for God to be REAL!!! for God to be active in our lives, and for us to acknowledge that God is willing to answer our questioning prayers.
Why do we have to wait on God? Because God has to wait for us to open up to the teachings that God would bring forth for that specific question. We’re not always ready or WILLING to receive what God wants to give. Often, we tell God what we consider the answer to, working through our prejudices and already deciding we’re right, rather than us being willing to wait for God to tell us. And even more often, we’re afraid to face the judgemental God we believe exists, instead of believing Jesus when He said, “If you see me, you see the Father.” which could help us realize the Loving Kindness, Understanding and Tolerance we see in Jesus, is the Loving Kindness, Understanding and Tolerance within the Father.
Try it and see,
and may God bless your efforts.
